They don’t make businesses like this anymore. Very welcoming family owned business, super accommodating and knowledgeable. John and daughter are amazing, John took me back to the service lift and walked me through everything he was doing, showed me the ins and outs, what was needed now, what would be needed in the future and if you are price shopping just stop and come in to Happy trails. The service and price by far the best, so honest, and knowledgeable. Most auto shops try to take advantage of lack of knowledge, overcharge, and push unneeded recommendations. Not here! Thank you guys for being amazing!

They are always awesome to work with, had my timing belt, water pump, and thermostat replaced on my tundra and they charged me less than half what the dealer quote for just the timing belt!They will give it to you straight there! I will forever take my vehicles to them. 💜

We are very pleased with their service. We got an appointment quickly and the car was checked over for its 70k maintenance, oil was changed, and everything was done in just a couple of hours. I am so glad that John has moved his business closer to where we live and it no longer requires off-roading to get there! I was able to walk over and pick the car up when it was ready, and as always, the price was fair and the service was great. Now that the car is no longer under warranty for service, we will be going here instead. Oh, and Toyota clamped the filter cap so hard that it had to be replaced - something I suspect that the Toyota techs do on purpose in hopes of getting more $ from their patrons at future visits. We also had Toyota tell us we needed new brakes when we did not, and a bunch of other services which it turned out, when we had John check the car, were not needed. Dont really trust Toyotas business model anymore at least as far as the service department goes.

When I purchased my car I brought it in to have a diagnostic run on it to ensure the car had no problems...was thankful when I received the goid news..... I am grateful for the reminder had it nir been for that service I would have forgotten that I was due to have my Transmission drained and filled. John is the mechanic who would work on my Rolls Royce, if I could afford one! His ability and work ethic are the kind you found 50 years ago. After my 2006 Prius broke down I got it towed to Happy Trails right before closing time on a Friday. They were really friendly and able to help me without any problems. I took my 2004 Toyota Tundra to John at Trails Auto for a leaking rear axle which saturated the rear brakes. The bearings had recently been replaced by a different mechanic that is no longer in business so I thought I would let John at Happy Trails check it out.He not only correctly identified the problem in a timely manner, he also Showed me the old differential and how the unit was about to fail. He gave me a couple of options as to which type of upgraded limited slip replacement diff to install. I chose a torsen type (similar to Military Hummer) made by Eaton called a truetrac. The truck now feels as if it is gorilla-glued to the dirt with superior traction and control. Areas I used to use 4wd I can now navigate in 2wd. Besides installing an awesome diff he also did the rear brakes, fixed a loose sidestep bar and repaired a loose fender flair. Considering the amount of work done to the truck, he did it at a reasonable price and guarantees his work.John is thorough, methodical, patient, precise and Extremely Knowledgeable about his craft. John has expertise and a work ethic that is not seen in a dealership or commercially owned mechanic shop. He uses only quality parts and is willing to inform and involve the operator/owner of the diagnosis and solution(s). Happy Trails is my new mechanic and I will be having John taking care of certain suspension upgrades in the future. Thank you Happy Trails for a Job well done.
