I cant say enough good things about Woodys. The quote was fair and about $500 less than three other quotes that I received. Woody was a pleasure to meet and explained everything that was needed, how long it would take to get the materials, and how his family has been doing this business for decades. Provided samples for me to use for HOA approval. Answered every email I sent. The ladies in the office were pleasant and professional when I went in to sign paperwork. They know their stuff! And the install crew was phenomenal! You can tell they had been doing this work for years and handled any little bump that arose with ease. Tore out and removed an ugly old wood fence that had been put up years earlier. Took their time installing everything perfectly while moving at a great pace to get the job done. Even worked around tree roots to get the best straight line install around a tree on the property line. They knew I had dogs and made sure that everything was installed with that in mind, making sure the doors swung in so they couldnt push it open if it didnt get latched all the way. They thought of everything that I didnt even know to think about. I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about getting a new fence.

The 4 gentlemen who took down my old fence and put up the new one were great! On time, polite, professional and left no mess behind. The office personnel were very helpful and professional. When I had a concern about my drive thru gate a couple days later, the owner of the company came to my house to check on it. As it turned out, there was no issue. 2 years ago I called Big Woodys to install chainlink and also privacy fence. They did both jobs in a days time, everyone was professional and so nice. I decided to add to the privacy fence a few months ago, called again, they matched the fence, had it in sooner than expected and came out to install. It took a few hours, everyone worked hard, never stopped and got it done. It looks great. The office communicated with me to schedule times and make sure they gave me notice to have access to the premises as well. I would recommend them for any fence you may need.

Our original fence was 20+ years old and still standing. It was destroyed by the Hurricane/Tornado. We chose Big Woodys because of their workmanship on the original fence. They were friendly, prompt site visit and quote. We are very happy with the new fence and workmanship. The crew that came out to do the work were on time and hard workers. We were so happy with our fence that we asked them to redo my Mums fence also. She was as impressed with their workmanship and how clean they left the job site. Definitely recommend!

I dont how these people are still in business! They dont know anything and argue with everything. I asked for a quote for materials and labor. But it seems they dont work know how to break down price for the materials and labor! They need to hire someone in there with a minimum algebra and/or MS Excel skills!

Awesome experience from quote to installation. Very professional the installers showed up early and boy they are quick and efficient. When suddenly rain started pouring, they didnt stop for a minute. I videotaped them, wish I could attach the video here. Next thing my fence is up and looks amazing.. Highly recommend this company for your fencing needs!

Woodys fence was recommended to us when we were looking to put in a vinyl fence. At the time they were very busy due to Irma, but Woody came and gave me an estimate and was only a couple of weeks and they were out here on the job. I could not be any happier than I am now. They were on spot, answering any questions. They took their time and made sure the job was done right . This is the go to place if you are looking for fencing . Highly recommend this company.

Big Woodys Fence recently erected a vinyl fence on my property. They were very patient as there were several issues to be resolved before the fence could be erected. Everything was handled professionally by the staff and I am very pleased with my fence. I even enjoy my backyard more than I have for many years. I can be a tough cookie to please, but BWF exceeded my expectations.

Buyer beware: I am satisfied with the fence itself. Everything in this review is true and has been reported to BBB. However, this company has probably the worst customer service I have ever seen. They may care for their commercial clients that pay more money, but beware if you are looking for a residential fence which I was told they consider a small job.***Edit to original post: Response below from the company bypasses many facts, they DEMANDED the remainder of the payment though the fence had no permit and could NOT PASS INSPECTION. The permit office did not call me. THESE GUYS ARE SHARKS and lure you in with a low price and shady tactics (we can give you a better price if you pay now for materials in the yard, later the price goes up...hmm.***I had so many issues, I reduced my final payment by $200 so I could get some attention from the owner. How did they respond? They gave me 24 hours to pay the balance and when I didn’t, they sent me a bill for $640 worth of made up charges and “additional trip fees“ and threatened to put a lien against my house.When I went to pay the $200, after being threatened with the additional $640, I had to wait while the office manager/sister of Woody, went right outside the office door to speak with Woody who was sitting in his truck. I watched this happen on their own surveillance video. The man who owns the company didn’t even have the guts to come and talk to me. Instead, they made it to be they were doing me a favor by signing the invoice that I was paying $200 and I was satisfied with my installation and Woody was graciously waving the additional made up fees. I guess they thought this was going to be the end of it because they had their payment and there was nothing more I can do.They actually installed the fence without proper permitting, admittedly so by the office staff via email. Office manager admitted via email that she confused the original permit from 2009 which was clearly dated, their invoice clearly stated permit would be pulled by company.Unprofessional installation crew. Holes left under the new fence by old posts. Empty bags of concrete post mix stuffed into the actual posts. They failed to actually mix concrete post mix, just dumped it dry into the hole. Unless I am mistaken, a concrete mix should be mixed before put in the ground.Unprofessionalism of office staff and woody himself. Bobbi was not clear on having any official “clean copy” of the property survey before any work was done, which is required for permit. Once I did not respond in a timely manner to request for these clean copy, I received a voicemail from Woody himself threatening a lien against my house for the work completed already and demanding payment. I had to call him back and argue with him that I was not going to pay the final payment until the fence actually passed inspection. The office manager was so confused, she left me a message to charge my credit card for the balance of the payment, but I had paid in cash.Unclear documentation, that is, the invoice was the only written document on our agreement. This document clearly stated “BW” was to acquire a permit from the city. After they installed the new fence, two sprinkler heads were outside of the fence line. If the fence was reinstalled in the same location, which had passed inspection with the city previously, the sprinkler heads would not be a problem. When Woody came to my home post installation, he told me sprinkler location is not something they handle. However, the invoice does not state that the homeowner is responsible for sprinkler heads that need to be relocated. When I asked I was told it is common that the homeowner is responsible and there is no way installation crew would know the difference between my sprinklers and neighbors. I spoke with another company in the area and they stated they do ensure the homeowner at least knows if there is a location issue with sprinkler location. I found out the first time I turned mine on!Two stars because I like the fence itself. *Edited: removing one star because they suck.*

Horrible service. The finish on their powdercoating is horrendous. We had to get parts sandblasted and re-powdercoated by another powdercoater. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND.

They were good at first with customer relations and worked with you. Was told they would be done in one day and had a few snags and couldn’t do that which is understandable. When guys came for second day late in afternoon they tried to hurry and finish and that’s where all the problems are in my fence. Many holes in fence where I can fit hand through vinyl fence and did poor job trying to just finish in rushing they broke sprinkler pipe in a few spots and all my heads were buried sideways or were messed up where they were digging so they could get it off the books. Trying to get things fixed has been even worse and they aren’t owning up to poor instillation and planning for my fence. Would recommend them but do not recommend letting them trying to rush and would thouroghly inspect fence and make them fix all issues before final payment.

Big Woodys just replaced our damaged, dilapidated wood fence, that Irma destroyed. We have a gorgeous white pvc fence installed. I called over 12 fence companies, Bobbie came out to estimate, installation was perfect and the price was the best of all companies called. When I gave my measurement over the phone, the price was the same after they measured. If you need a fence Big Woodys is the best . Thank you Big Woodys !

I would suggest that the proper place for prospective customers to park - outside the yard - away from where large trucks wander and metal scraps could harm tires - should be marked. The workers should be instructed to park their vehicles in an orderly manner so there is room for customers outside the yard. When a customer wonders where to park, with no visible space, an Immediate, Let us get those vehicles lined up better, would have been much more business-like, than the vague waves out the door.I left. I have nothing but good things to say about the customer service, professionalism and attention to detail I received just recently when I contracted Big Woodys to install a combination of wood fencing, chain link and a gate. The work was done on time and in accordance with our contract. I look forward to using them again when its time to replace my back fence.

The lousiest fence company in Orlando. They overcharge (minimum $1,500 charge), are rude and incompetent. I called for an estimate, they asked for pictures. I sent pictures and two weeks later still didnt have an estimate. When I called to ask for estimate and asked about the long wait and reason for delay, attendant was confrontational and hung up.

I am very pleased with the outcome of the fence. From sales till installation the staff were friendly and professional. I strongly recommend Big Woodys Fence.

Big Woodys did a great job on building our vinyl fence and in repairing it following recent hurricane damage. When I had a couple of issues with the gate, they were very responsive in completing the repairs. Would definitely recommend them!

I had Big Woodys Fence install my fence 2 years ago. I was told the fence should be good for at least 5 years but 10 was more along the lines of their expectations. Within the first year I had to call them to come out a couple of times to fix sagging posts and a gate that would not close right. Now, barely into my 2nd year, my dog literally pushed down one of the panels and ran into the neighborhood. My dog is 55 lbs so were not talking a Great Dane size dog and Ive never seen him push on the fence so its not repetitive behavior. I realize my warranty is 1yr, but I called Big Woodys to see if they would offer to fix it. The only offered to come out and fix it for a charge. While I am not trying to bash the company because they delivered what they said which was a fence and they did repair the fence during the initial year, do not buy a fence from them and expect anything but the norm. They do not go above and beyond for existing customers and their customer service is average at best.

I called Big Woodys Fence last week to come out and give me an estimate on replacing some of my damaged fence !! Told them I had dogs so please call me before coming out my appointment was between 10-4 so I asked a friend to stay at my house because I had to work 2:30 pm still no call so I called them and was told they was not going to make it out !! I wish they would have called me this morning so my friend could have went on her way !! Think this is a poor way to run a business !!
