My apopka postman is always giving my mail to the wrong address and i am always getting other peoples mail. My packages are thrown in the driveway because my yard is fenced in , but we have a community package box that the dont use. Whats the purpose of having one if they arent going to use it.

A package was crammed into my mailbox, which broke my mailbox. The lid was left down (because it was impossible to close) and the package was soaked by a rainstorm. Here are pictures of how the package was crammed so tightly in my mailbox and what the package looked like when it was finally, with much effort, removed from the mailbox. I took the package to file a complaint to the Apopka 32712 post office. I was told that a substitute delivered the mail on that day and that I needed to go online to file a complaint using the tracking number. They were unable to file the complaint because, conveniently, their computers were down that day. I also emailed the Post Master for this post office, but the information posted online is not an accurate email address. Robert Streeper, the current Post Master for the Ocoee Post Office said he would forward my complaint to the correct post master, which evidently does not exist. I never received another response from him.

Unfortunately this is my Post Office and I have a business. It took them 7 tries and a month to get the key changed on my mailbox. Every single person there should be fired. I guess execution is a little extreme. My mail courier is phenomenal nice guy and goes out of its way to get things done. But everybody in that office should be terminated

I had a package sent to the wrong suite number at my office so I called the post office to see if they could help. I spoke with Carlos who took my issues seriously and got right on it!He went out of his way to investigate and connect with my carrier. It was refresh to talk with a real person who actually cared!Thank you Carlos for being helpful. You deserve 5 stars!

3 stars AND thats being generous.This USPS in Apopka was busy when I got there. There were 2 employees working the counter, one engaged in a conversation with two other people at the far end by the entrance and so in reality there was only one clerk handling about a dozen people. What appeared to be a supervisor came out. He asked if anybody had anything that was ready to ship. Everyone in line needed the assistance of a clerk at the counter. The male individual then opened up a door and went into the back. He didn’t come out and open up another register and assist with this busy line of people. We never saw him again. The person that waited on me was difficult and incompetent. I totally understand the reason for the negative reviews. USPS should retrain these people. There’s no reason for this location to be inefficient. Three stars is because this building was clean, the location is good and there’s plenty of parking with easy access to the building.

My mother lives close to the Apopka U.S. Post Office, located on Park Avenue and Tanglewilde Street. It is a large facility that has a parking lot and numerous post office boxes for rent that are used by a lot of people.You can buy stamps, mail packages and purchase mailing boxes in different sizes and postal money orders. One service not provided is passport services.I have used this post office to mail packages and stamps and never had a long wait. The employees are all efficient and friendly.

They really dont care to help you here. Met with instant attitude just because I asked about some mail that was not delivered to me even though informed delivery stated I had mail coming. Lady going to try and tell me how it works as if Im uneducated. All it would take is for her to spend 3 minutes of her time to go look for the mail thats in fact at this location! If you dont enjoy your job, go find another that youll enjoy and let someone who needs one have yours.

This place is a joke, and the delivery men dont know what they are doing most of the time. Im stressed out every time somebody sends me package via USPS, because they either put it in the wrong mailbox or take it back to the Apopka post office and I cant get to it for days. This has been a serious problem for the last year or so. Before we had the same delivery guy for years and never had a problem. Theyre driving me nuts and Im not the only one

Yeah, I just assume people here are really critical, but this is one of the easiest post offices Ive ever had to deal with. Yes, lines can be busy, but they move along quickly! And yes, I often see other employees in the vicinity not at open registers...but you guys understand that processing our walk-in mail is only a tiny fraction of their job, right? When other workers are not giving you their undivided attention, that probably means they are responsible for another task/assignment (instead of the front desk intake) at that time.For the brief window I volunteered at my campus mailroom, I was shocked to discover all the backroom handling/filing/sorting & paperwork that went into it...and during our training, we were constantly reminded of what we DONT have to do, since we werent a real post office 😂. So I can only imagine all the things these people are doing behind the scenes!

Tried to return an item. I decided to ship it in the same packaging I received it in. They wouldnt allow it since its only for priority mail. Had to make multiple trips and they completely wasted my time. Thanks definitely dont recommend them!

An older white gentleman working behind the counter wasn’t wearing a mask or a shield. He didn’t even have a name tag on, which is also unprofessional, and I assume it’s because he doesn’t want to be identified for his gross negligence . I really don’t appreciate it, and will be going out of my way next time I need postal services to the next nearest post office. It is entirely unprofessional for a government worker to not adhere to guidelines during a global pandemic. What a selfish human being.

This post office is literally the worst post office I have ever had to deal with. I wouldn’t give them a one star even. So many times I’ve seen mailboxes completely open with people mail exposed when it’s large packages and today it says my jewelry and handbag were delivered to me (worth over $300.00) and there was nothing in my mailbox. I called for hours and of course no one answered like everyone else has stated on here, so I went the next morning they said I would have to file a claim but they won’t be able to do anything about it if they can locate the package !

If I could leave negative stars, I would. I can see why this location has a 1.9 rating. They dont answer the phone or a fax, and were very rude at the counter. I sent a package to Apopka that I accidentally put the wrong house number on. Fine, they were sending it back- but they kept it for 2 and a half weeks before they actually sent it out of their building. Pathetic excuse for a post office- when I send anything else Im using Fedex.

With people complaining about them not Furnishing tape and having to pay for boxes, what do you expect? Do you want everything in life for free? They are providing a shipping service for very cheap and you expect them to give you everything for free. Come on. With reasonable expectations this place is perfectly fine.

This post office has always been great for my needs. I have a post office box there and was able to send a serviceman a package for less than 200$, where UPS and Fed ex were charging almost 1,000$. People have always been courteous and helpful there. I love this Apopka post office!

The guy working at the pickup/Drop off counter today is so rude and helpless. Usually the service I got over there is quite decent. However, today it was terrible. You go to post office to ask for help, but all you get is no answer given to your question. My package supposed to delivered 2-3 days with priority mail service and it has been 10 days now. The tracking number I checked from home stated that it arrived in Apopka Post office 6 days ago, so I have a good reason to go ask. The only comment he gave is to wait. Until when?, no body knows.They could not update me where is my package at this moment and when Am I expecting it. NOTHING. Could not get the name of that guy. To better serve the customers and improve the post office service, that type of employee attitude needs to be addressed. Theyd better love what they do, or get another job!!!

I have had 4 packages marked delivery in mailbox snd they havent been there. You cant call the post office and the 800 number is automated inssnity. My postal delivery person said maybe someone took it out of your mailbox i said well our cameras show 2 people going to the mailbox, you and then me to check the mail. I just moved here from Lake Mary, where everyone was helpful and polite. The gentleman at this location, I believe his name was Jim or something similar, was VERY rude and short with me. Almost dismissive and belittling. All I asked was if I can have a package that was currently at their facility held for me to pick up, instead of delivering it today. He said that he would mention it to the carrier, and that was it. Usually, they ask for my tracking number and put a note in the system and confirm the package wont be delivered or put on the truck. When I asked about this, he said, Im trying to help you, but now youre TAKING AWAY TIME FROM MY DAY! What kind of customer service representative says something like that to a polite, curious customer? I understand you may be busy, but realize customers are the reason youre busy. So try treating them with a little respect and kindness. If I had a choice, I would swiftly change post offices.. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, thats not an option. Hopefully when I go visit later today, my package will be there and someone else will treat me better.**UPDATE** My package was NOT held at the office like I asked and was told. This location I a COMPLETE JOKE! No one even answers the phones!

Accessible kiosk 24/7 for stamps and packages, though must buy with credit or debit card (not cash), great when I want to bypass customer service desk or they are closed. Ordered my mail held for two week vacation and was executed accurately with prompt notice to service returning. This post office is in service need of a managerial overhaul. The staff is rude and unhelpful. I had to go back and forth with them multiple times regarding a simple mailbox matter, one of those phone calls the employee rudely hung up on me! When I called back, he acknowledged that he did so on purpose. They also will not deliver packages to my home, because the paved side street is too far off the main road . I wish something would be done with the this location as I have to use them.

I have a business where she consistently delivers mail at 5:30pm after we leave.she has complete disregard for customer service. I live in Miami Florida and had a package delivered to my sisters in Apopka Florida. I drove to visit her and surprise her with the package i paid extra money to have it shipped the next day to her house. Come to find out that my package never arrived. According to the tracking number the below picture shows that it was attempted for delivery and a note was left. I was at her house all day that day and no one knocked on the door, no note was left, i paid extra for it to be their on time and just found out my sister has to pick up the package at the post office. If work is not done accordingly never will i use USPS again. I will use FedEx instead. First and last. I have called this branch and no one answers its always on busy mode. Its the worst experience!! I wouldnt advise to use USPS services at all from this location. This has never happen in Miami!

This post office is bloody incompetent. So many times I have had failed deliveries without any explanation why. I live down a dirt road so the mailbox is one of those communal ones at the end of the road and even if the package boxes are empty and my package will fit in them, sometimes they wont bother to deliver them and then I have to go to the post office to pick them up. One day, I even found my package box key on TOP of the box for ANYONE to take! Just today, Im waiting for Christmas packages from my Grandma. Not only has it taken way over the amount of days it takes for two-day flat rate boxes to get here, but now they are marked undeliverable even when I KNOW one would have fit into the package box and there were NO OTHER packages in there! Even worse, my brother noticed that the mail person came down our road and happily used our driveway to turn around it, but didnt both to get out of the bloody truck to deliver our packages! Now Im got to go down there on Christmas Eve and try to claim my packages before they are sent back to Texas. This is freaking Christmas! Im tired of people not doing their bloody jobs! Its not fair that you cant change post offices unless you move.*2019 UPDATE!*So even more reason to not bother trying to get help from these people. I got an email that an item was delivered to me that I had bought on ebay. Usually, this is very accurate. I have one of those communal mailboxes for all the families on the road, and when I go down there one of the package boxes has no key in it. I open my box and there is no key. Obviously the key for my package was given to someone else. I got to the post office and tell them about this and apparently they cannot contact the carrier to go fix their mistake. They pretty much implied they dont care whether someone else got my package and just made a bunch of excuses as to why they couldnt fix this until tomorrow. Meanwhile I dont know who might get my package or whether theyll actually give it to me or not. This isnt the only issue. Ive gotten other peoples mail all the time. This location is a joke. I came with a package with a prepaid label. They told me I would have to purchase $5 tape as they did not have tape the customers were allowed to use.... Horrible Experience. I paid $23.75 to have a delivery made on Monday, 6/19 with it marked to not be delivered on the weekend (as the office where it was to be delivered would be closed). Of course, they tried on Saturday. And then never put it back out to be delivered on Monday. Or Tuesday. I had to beg for it to be put out for Wednesday. Manager wouldnt even get on the phone with me to discuss why this happened. I would have been better off driving it myself. Total incompetence and a complete lack of empathy regarding THEIR mess up. Wont be using the USPS for delivery of anything from this point on.Update 6-22-17: It was finally delivered on 6/21. Two days after it was guaranteed to be delivered.

Wish that I could rate this post office lower than 1 star! This place rarely answers the phone and when they do you get put on hold forever. This location is always super busy and their employees work very slow and most of them are very rude! Post office visits are normally a hassle anyways, so it shouldnt be even more difficult because you have to deal with unhappy employees who hate their job (NO ONE FORCED THEM TO WORK THERE)! Going to this location you will wait in line for 30+ minutes or longer! Every time that I have gone here I have waited almost an hour and a half just to get assistance! This place is absolutely ridiculous..... I have wrote this review while on hold with this office, I have been on hold now for 21 minutes exactly just to simply get an answer to Where is my package?! I dont think that there is anything more frustrating than getting no help from the people or persons who are supposed to help you! It just really bites because I live in Apopka that this is the closest place near me. She even started going off topic like she forgot what i was asking (probably didnt even know what i was asking because she couldnt stop talking to listen for 2 seconds). Its always a long wait in line which is Understandable being that Apopka is a growing city. The USPS has very convenient features online, one being to hold mail. I made a request. It was not honored. What a big disappointment. They lost my mail.(Go Figure). I thought the post office was a public service to the community but if employees are not capable of effectively doing their job, like anywhere else, they should be replaced. This feature to share with the public about our experience is good. But our complaints need to always go to a higher level. Everyone has someone to answer to.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. I want to clarify that I have no issue with my personal delivery person. That being said, I dont understand how a post office can simply NOT answer the phone - EVER. Like why is that an option - to not answer a business phone.I am a business - I need my packages picked up - why is it so tentative whether or not Im going to get them picked up? I have a standing pick up order in place, they know I need them picked up and yet its not something I can count on... on top of that, when they do pick them up, they have ZERO ability to scan and track them. Kristen at the front counter was nice , but thats about all i can say about my experience.i was left a notice on Wednesday that they had a package for me that required my signature. The notice indicated they would redeliver if i signed. So I signed it and left it in my box Thursday. Friday package was not left. Had to go to the post office Saturday morning, manager spent 15 minutes looking for it and concluded its been sent back. Awesome. Why was it not left? Why was it sent back so soon? Probably carrier error, our regular carrier is always twitchy and disheveled. Maybe she should be drug tested. I hope this package gets found but either way its waste of time for me and a FAIL for them.

Already a bad taste and I havent even started service with this post office yet. I am trying to call and find out how to get my mailbox key for the town home Im moving into. I have been calling for the past 3 HOURS and no one picks up the phone. It would be great if I could look up the information online but there is nothing that tells you what the procedure is which is obviously on USPS and not this office. The least you can do is pick up the PHONE!!! I cannot leave work and race down just to get information that should be easily accessible online or OVER THE PHONE!!

They NEVER answer the phone, NEVER!!! I have called them 74 times today, each time letting it ring for the maximum time, 2 minutes. Thats a total of 148 minutes of calling time with NO answer. I even had another Post Office (which answered the phone) call them, and they did not even answer the phone from another Post Office (they have caller ID). Let me start of by saying the tellers at this location are the only exception.They are some of the most kind, respectful, and go out of their way to help people. However, the rest of the staff here must have missed the memo. Ive been blatantly hung up on multiple times by numerous members of staff, including Ricardo who claims to be a supervisor, yet his customer service skills are worse than that of a teenager. During a recent encounter with Ricardo, his attempts to embarrass and demean me in front of other customers after asking for further assistance turned into an embarrassing moment for himself when he no longer was able to scream and dismiss me he had no choice but to recluse to the back of the warehouse. As I calmly stood there, other customers in line were in shock at how disrespectful this supervisor was behaving. Its a sad day for bureaucracy when basic respect and regard for others is not a priority.

I now understand why so many people hate USPS. I recently moved to Apopka and this post office has given me issues since day one. I never had an issue scheduling a pickup when I lived in Leesburg but this office! I’ve had to schedule three pickups on three different days before they actually picked up my package! Each pickup that I scheduled was marked picked up and I received a confirmation email even though the package was clearly still on my doorstep. When I filed a complaint and spoke to the manager at this office he told me I had to CALL and tell them I’ve scheduled a pickup to ensure that they would actually pick it up. UNBELIEVABLE! I’ve been calling since 11:30 this morning trying to let them know I’ve scheduled a pickup for today yesterday and they have picked the phone up and immediately hung up on me. Horrible is an understatement. I own a business in downtown Apopka. The mail often is delivered after we close - which means we have to run to the post office to deliver our outgoing mail. We have been assured many times that our mail will come in the morning. That usually happens the day after I go to the post office and complain - then never happens again. One supervisor told me that they do not answer the phones because they are too busy! It is nearly impossible to call this post office. You have to stop what you are doing and run down to their office.Update July 2019. We moved our office to Clark Street in Apopka. Now our outgoing mail takes forever! A check sent to a supplier took a full two months to receive!!! We have another supplier waiting over 3 weeks for their check in Illinois. We also had two months of mail delivered one day because the carrier put our mail in a box that was not ours and was not in use. Absolutely ridiculous!

This is the worst post office ever. This is my third time experiencing issues with them. They never answer the phone and the post master is rude.

I mailed certified court notices to the following address: 1417 Litchem Road, Apopka, FL 32712, which according to all court records is a valid address and received the mail back stamped as no such street. Since the house at that address, on that street has been bought and sold several times and then foreclosed, I believe this to be a valid address on a street that does exist. Since the mail is an exhibit to the court, I find this response to be false, and can only assume that instead of just putting moved unable to forward the mail carrier did not even attempt service. People working at a government facility should know better and if they dont they should not be working there at all.

I called in 4 days ago about a package being marked as delievered but never way. The lady I spoke with on the phone said oh our driver is still out delievering, I have no way of contacting her, she will just check tomorrow if she has the package and we will call you back. I am still waiting for this call and even when I expressed my concern to the woman about my package being pretty costly she sounded frustrated with me and rushed me off the phone.My $175 electronic was delievered to the wrong house, at least my neighbors are honest unlike this post office. The workers are beyond incompetent and do NOT value your mail. I have lived in a lot of states and a lot of cities and never once have I had anything like this happen let alone have a zero response from the company that is responsible for LOSING MY MAIL!

I went to just get stamps and the teller Asian lady Chris first wouldnt let me see the stamps she had which is whatever but then blew her nose and with tissue in hand (which was still open not folded up) grabbed my reciept and tried to hand it to me. When I said no thank you she gave me a dirty look. So I pointed to the tissue and she rolls her eyes.

Mail carrier that delivers in my neighborhood puts a vacant card in community mailbox if you forget to check the mail has done this multiple times to my mother who is in her mid 70s previous person actually cared and left a note for my mother on her door when delivering packages in the neighborhood

They take for ever to deliver. The mail if it.does.come comes at like 5:30 or they just wait until The next day and still deliver it late the earliest Ive got a 2 day package was 3 days later at 5. Usually takes 4 days at 5:30 to get a package

No one at the office can answer a phone. Ive been waiting for a package for over a week now, it was sent as two day priotity mail. Its now four days after the original delivery date(via the tracker) and still hasnt shown up.

I really dont leave bad reviews Bc I want to think maybe someone had a bad day; however, I have never once had a good experience here and it has been mine and my parents PO for about 30 years. If you call on the phone, no one picks up and they let it go until it disconnects on you. This will happen for hours as I have literally continued calling for over 2 hours before. When you finally break up your day to inconveniently go there Bc they wont pick up the phone, the assistance you get is like everyone hates their job and you. Its truly sad Bc the service at the main line is just as terrible. When I finally go through to an option to fit what I needed it told me my wait time was 1.5 hours. Seriously?? Hire more people if you cannot answer the phones at all or make your customers wait for 1.5 hours. If I hadnt had multiple packages delivered to incorrect addresses over two different days, I wouldnt bother ever using USPS and always spend the extra money to go with another carrier. Even the lost package shows me it was delivered to the incorrect address on their tracking site and they wont allow me to file a claim for 7 business days. I really havent experienced this poor level of service by a major business. I hope usps can get on the ball and figure it out Bc they are rapidly going downhill and more and more people will take business elsewhere.

Always losing packages and not probiding assistance. I pay for stuff like amazon prime for 2 day shipping and get stuff 4 days later cause its in their hands for 3 days. I just had a package listed could not access front door when i dont even have a fence/gate that block access. I once had to file a claim for a late package and get it replaced, the replacement came in and 5 months later they delivered the original. They dont care at all about doing it right and take 0 pride in the work. The usps used to mean some something, now its a joke, and not a very funny one.

This is the poorest example of a customer service ever. I have called 8 times this morning and let it ring for 5 min each time with no answer. The main post office # was a 1 hour and 8 min hold time. The worse part about this situation is there is no way to hold them accountable for their horrible service. Why do people even use this system if it is this bad.

2020 Review - Service has tanked again. Customer service is hit or miss generally a miss. You know the ones that are friendly but the majority of them are not.They work in silos at the counter and no one appears to help anyone else even when there are no customers. It’s like they’re not a team. Forget ordering supplies, they just give you whatever at your doorstep. Mail delivery is inconsistent. I have had to file missing mail requests. Thank goodness for the mail preview service. It’s so sad- This establishment is not worthy of being in such a friendly town such as Apopka. We deserve better!2019 Review- This post office has hired lots of new staff and is noticeably improving in 2019. The new leadership and staff are actually friendly and nice.Home delivery still needs LOTS work. I still get wrong mail, and I’ve had mail delivered to my neighbors for no reason. When the usual mail lady/man doesn’t deliver, it just seems they throw the mail to other houses just for the sake of delivery. Also, whenever I order post office supplies, the order is almost always incomplete and it’s hard to get anyone to correct it.All in all, 2 extra stars effort still a long way to go on home delivery and speeding up the long lines everyday for small businesses that rely on the service.2016 Review—What is going on? The delivery service is so inconsistent, I have to plan ahead and expect that the driver wont show up for pick up or delivery to ensure that my home based business runs smoothly. I often drive to other more reliable offices when I need to ensure the package will be taken care of. Our mail pickup/dropoff can come in the morning, afternoon, at night, or not at all. Weve had several occasions where the flag was up and no one came altogether. As of me writing this review, at 6:42 PM, our Saturday pickup/dropoff to the Oak HIll Reserve Community in Apopka has not occurred. There really needs to be an internal quality assurance procedure to monitor for performance both inside the Park Avenue office, and the outside delivery service. This is completely ridiculous.

Chris the Asian lady was rude. She doesnt have any customers service skills ,instead of asking the customers to re do packing she give orders , same when completing customs form. No even my mother give me orders.

Worst most rude experience Ive ever had at a Post Office. I dropped off a package on Sunday and after no tracking update I returned Tuesday to see if my package had shipped. When it was my turn in like Chris helped me and she was fine, but then she said I have to talk to her manager. So she pointed a couple desks down and I apparoached the counter. The man at the counter was on the phone so I waited. After about 5 minutes, while he was still on the phone, he looked at me and said What?. I then explained and he told me to give him the tracking number and so I did, he punched the numbers into the computer then shifted the computer screen towards me and pointed. He was too busy in the phone to tell me what he was pointing at so I asked what? He then said We didnt get it and I told him specifically that I dropped it off Sunday. He then rudley explained, while on the phone, that sometimes they dont scan the items in and ship them off to Orlando. I told him I needed sometype of update since my package was a 2 day package. He then looked at me and said Jesus Christ and further told me theres nothing he can do. I will not be returning to this post office ever again. Please, USPS, fix your internal issues. For a manager he sure didnt look like he knew how to deal with people.
