We did the aeration package and top dressing. Great service with good value and timing! Our lawn has never been so green one week after the service. Our neighbor thought we painted our lawn. See before and after pictures.

James seems nice enough and does a decent job, but I found him unreliable. I’m sure he can do better. Wish he was more communicative about when, and if, he was coming. Probably great with yards but not so much as a businessman. Looking over these reviews there seems to be a pattern with communication issues.

James was able to squeeze me into a cancellation with a single day notice. His crew cleared my property of last years leaves (I have a very forested backyard) before laying down 75 bales of pine straw. They finished in a half-day, cleaned up wonderfully, and worked around my schedule for picking up payment. They were competitively priced and I’d be happy to hire them again next season! Apex Lawn Company did a great job in our yard, I was really impressed. They were knowledgeable and communicated really well. Competitive prices and professional service. They even threw in a few extra jobs at no additional cost. I will definitely switch to using this company regularly.

Let me be honest: Im writing this review because the owner asked. But Ive never seen better quality lawn care and I have the photos to prove it. Really striped the Zoysia. Brought a lot of green back to the grass. Have a before and after. Will add photos.

Weve been using them as a complete lawn care provider for a few months now. The lawn looks great and they take care of everything from dethatching, aeration, mowing, edging etc, I dont have to worry about anything and theyre prompt to fix any issues.They are independant and work on their own schedule, I personally like this as I dont really have to worry about when they come by, they just get stuff done! Great value as well, and Im happy to support a local small business.

Extremely motivated and professional. Have used them to maintain our commercial property for a year and a half. They they do a fantastic job going above and beyond their responsibilities of mowing, hedging, weeding, cleaning. We even gave them some painting and repair work on the outside and pressure washing. Things do go right all the time, but they will come and fix it even at night, in rain, in heat or in cold- incredible dedication and commitment to quality work. We love them and want to be part of their success story.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! These guys are very difficult to communicate with. All over text...no phone calls. Asked them to mow the yard of a wonderful woman who is undergoing chemotherapy. I gave them a description of the house but not the exact street address. They mowed the wrong yard (a yard that they already had a contract previously to mow). They wanted me to pay for this but I refused. Apex Lawn Company sent out a bunch of teenagers to mow it the second time and did a marginal job. I paid them for this 2nd mowing. For the 3rd mowing I was uncertain about using them again. When they didn’t show up on Monday like there were scheduled, I contacted a different company. The new company was very professional and came on Tuesday. On Thursday, without contacting me, the teenagers showed up again and mowed the yard. I refused to pay them. Now Apex Lawn Company is harassing me and the poor lady and wanting her/me to pay for all 3 trips even though 1 had already been paid. Shameful customer service, terrible business model. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Very disappointed. No communication. We had some issues with our service and payment and I could never get the owner to return a call or text. Very unfortunate situation. Could have been resolved with a little communucation. Can not recommend.

I wanted to give a locally owned business (not a big nationwide chain) the chance to make my lawn (new construction, Bermuda) look good and went with Apex Lawn Company. I was impressed and excited to work with them after meeting the owner, who is very knowledgeable. However, they came twice, then didn’t show up for over 2 months, then showed up and fertilized 1/5 of my yard, ran out of fertilizer, didn’t come back for weeks to finish, then never came back at all. After at least 2 more months of not showing up, (or contacting me) I got a text saying they were not going to honor my contract anymore and would no longer be coming. They would never (even after asking repeatedly) tell me when they were coming, but rather they would just show up (the 3 times they came) and do whatever it is they did. I just got my final bill for who knows what, and that is the end. Nice, knowledgable kid, but certainly needs to better learn how to run a business, communicate, and understand how customer service works.

I don’t normally come online to write reviews. This is my first one. James, the owner, and I were having a chat this evening. It’s currently past midnight, but I’ve known the owner for a while: and he told me about this kid who had wrote a review based on a personal disagreement. So here I am to tell you that the quality of work is excellent. Now James is a young man and works very hard. We’re from a small town and he does a wonderful job. I’m not sure how to attach a photo but there are wonderful stripes. Can’t wait to get seeding done from him in the fall. Apex Lawn is on top of their game!

They always get the job done regardless of the setbacks they run into plus the owner is courteous and professional. I the guy who came out blew the leaves AND went over the yard with the vacuum. Very happy.

James was wonderful. He was responsive and kept me informed of the process in case of inclement weather. They took care of our horrendous weeds in record time and I came home to a perfectly trim and clean lawn! Thanks James!

Quick demo quote took 3 weeks to complete and did not meet their estimate or promised result. They claimed to know how to do this job but were not able to handle the scope of the work.

Man this dude cut it right and then when i go to check on it half the grass was uneven so i go to check the other side right and i see that he basically gave my grass a no gaurd hair trimm making the dirt come out. I would give a 0 if i could. Would not recommend.

Is an expert on cutting lawns. Has a collection of very fine lawn care equipment and a nice truck, and always is on time and professional. Worthy of my 5 stars!
