I would give no stars but Google makes you do a minimum of one. I will never rent from this location again! Made a reservation for a minivan to move a kid (9 hours away) back to school. Unfortunately, I was not able to be present for the pick-up so I called and asked if my husband could in my absence. I was assured that it wouldnt be a problem. At that time, I confirmed the minivan and days for the rental. Come the day of pick-up no minivan was available. My husband was offered an SUV which was smaller than the one we own or a pick-up truck. Because it was a Sunday and they were leaving that night he had to take the truck. 9 hours of driving with the load shifting in the bed and barely making it before the rain made for a miserable move-in and damaged goods. When he returned the rental (a full day early) we were charged the same as the quote for three days. When I called to express my dismay, I worked with someone who owned the issues and was willing to make it right for us. Only to then receive a call from Talitha (the manager) who was not willing to refund to what had already been agreed on. She said the error was on us for being offered the truck/SUV. When asked why I would want to rent something smaller than what I already owned she couldnt answer. She should take some lessons in customer service from her employee instead! She didnt care for my attitude when I showed up to question all of this. I just spoke to her in the same demeaning way that she spoke to me on the phone. Only difference was she didnt expect me to show up! Needless to say, I cancelled the upcoming reservation and will go with another company instead moving forward.

Outstanding service!!! I recently rented from the Enterprise Apex location after a car accident. The staff showed empathy for my situation, had a suitable replacement vehicle of comparable size available to me within 24 hours, and had outstanding and friendly customer service! The team seems to genuinely enjoy their jobs, assisting their customers, and have a great rapport working with one another. :-) Thanks Enterprise Apex Team!

Ill never rent from this location again. Ive been happy with Enterprise for 30 years until I rented from Apex. They gave me a downgraded car that smelled like cigarettes so bad our clothes stunk. It smelled like I drove around in an old hotel or bar. When I asked for another car they offered only to downgrade me more. When I contacted customer service they said the location would reach out to me and never did. I think Im done with Enterprise until I see a full refund for the rental.

I usually rent a vehicle for family vacations or long distance trips for work. I will never use anyone other than Enterprise. The staff at my local store in Apex,NC are among the best. I enjoy being a part of their business. Great team! Amazing people. Keep it up!

The employees at this location are always pleasant and helpful. Maybe I caught them after a few busy days, but they didnt have much to pick from in way of rentals and the one I got was underwhelming to say the least.Typically get good units, but not so much this time. Car was in less than good shape even for a rental company and I rent every week for work. I will still go here due to good customer service but this car wasnt great overall just ok.

I rent from enterprise all the time. Usually Im happy. Paid for a full size car as I was going to be driving 12 hrs and got a compact suv . Most uncomfortable ride ever. Told the rep when I returned it about my experience and his response was what do you want me to do. I was very disappointed and they charged me for an extra day. I emailed customer service and they never got back to me. I will be trying other companies.

I am a loyal renter of Enterprise and have been very happy with all of my experience up until this past week . . . this time I rented from the Apex, NC, location and was less than thrilled. I rented a mini-van and received a fairly new (22,000 miles) Dodge Caravan. First, the car was minimally cleaned. Second, the knob on the radio was broken off. Third, it was reflected that I received a 1/4 tank of gas when, in fact, it was a quarter of a quarter. I was traveling about 600 miles each way, and very quickly into my drive on the first part the oil change reminder came on. The other issue is that the van possibly had a gas leak. I would fill it, and then I could see the needle move downward. For a total of 1,200 miles, I had to fill the tank about nine times! Again, all past experiences have been fantastic, so I believe it was just this location that doesnt maintain the cars as well. I ended up spending way too much for a car that didnt perform as normal as it should.

Good local agency. I rented from them over the week of Thanksgiving. Car was out front and ready to go when I arrived, staff was professional and courteous. They didnt have the car I reserved, and upgraded me at no charge. Would definitely rent from them again.

Excellent service, great rates, great vehicles. I like they way they dont have some ways to make a better profit off of renters. One company charges you a fee of $5 or more for every day of your rental, if you use a toll road one time. Others get too picky about little scratches. Never a problem at Enterprise.

Overall, the experience was good! From the online reservation to the check-in, it was quick and efficient, and I rented a very nice Chevy Impala. The staff was friendly and very courteous! I drove away not able to get the Satellite radio that I requested, which was the only negative.

My rental SUV was great (Ford Explorer) and the service from Enterprise was excellent. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that nowhere online when I made the rental reservation did it state that a $200 refundable deposit would also be due when I picked the SUV up. Im not even sure of the reason why they take the deposit, even though they refund it when you bring the vehicle back, but it took me by surprise. Otherwise, great experience.

My local Pittsboro office was out of cars so we had to drive to Apex to pickup our rental to drive (while our car was evaluated for insurance, later totaled) for about 2 weeks. They have the entire rental process set up outside, all staff wear masks, and the car was Very clean. The Apex staff were friendly, quick to get me into a car (and out of the heat!) and stayed in touch as our rental eventually needed extension. We bought a new car and while it was being detailed I dropped the car off at the nearby Durham Enterprise and they drove me back to the dealership a few minutes later. They used a mini van that had separators between the driver and my seat in the very back so we maintained 6 feet apart the entire time. Im Really impressed with how well they have adapted to current health issues and continue to offer excellent service.

My experience was very good, and the car functioned as needed. I prefer using the Apex location even in the COVI D-19 crisis. I only wish that Enterprise would decrease the collision coverage amount ($19. per day) because youre not getting moneys worth. Yes, its peace of mind that you wont be responsible for car repairs and all the extra fees that will happen if the car is out of service for a bit. However, those charges add up when you rent for a week, and equal half of a six-month auto insurance premium.

We rented a vehicle from Enterprise in Apex, NC. All of our COVID-19-safe interactions were done curbside. All employees wore masks. Everyone was friendly and respectful, even when I called in later with questions. After the rental was returned, they called me to let me know they had retrieved an item I left in the car. Very pleased.

Beware of reserving a car at this Enterprise location. I had made a reservation for five day rental through Costco. A day before the reservation Enterprise called me and I confirmed the reservation. Unfortunately, I got tied up and couldnt pick up the car on time and arrived an hour late. They refused to honor the reservation and insisted that I pay the full price of the upgrade to the next size class available as no cars were available in the size class I had booked the reservation for. I had been using this location for several weeks as my wife was between cars I had found that the staff were very obnoxious when trying to push me to buy the overpriced rental insurance. I will never rent a car from this location again.

In general and ok experience, but when we had to return our first choice because it smelled VERY strongly of cigarettes, the representative argued with my wife about the smell before allowing us to exchange it. The vehicle smelled like it had been camped in by 5 tobacco addicted ladies wearing $5 perfume for a long weekend. It was horrible. Not sure what the rep thought he had to gain by arguing about it with my wife.

It only takes one bad experience!!This was my 2nd rental at Apex location.The first time was amazing. I believe Kaury(sp?) helped me then. Explained everything thoroughly and even upgraded me to a nicer vehicle for free. That was the first time I had ever rented a car.This time not so much. I only needed the car for Saturday into Sunday. I was quoted $156.18 online. Picked the car up early Sat morning. The girl who checked me out was clearly not thrilled to be working early Saturday morning. She briefly went over the car with me, barely speaking. I asked for the damage protection and she ended up signing me up for the whole shebang. When I dropped it off today (Monday, bc they are closed Sunday), I was told my total was $317!!! Whoa!! Talk about a price jump. I looked at the receipt and saw what had happened. I politely asked if they could remove the coverage that I didnt request. I acknowledged my error in not reading more carefully. I was too trusting of my verbal contract when I had left Saturday morning. Even still they would not budge. Its not like I was asking them to remove it all. I had fully expected to pay the damage insurance in addition to my original quote. I was clearly shocked and not trying to be unfair. Was it ultimately my fault, absolutely. I did acknowledge that MANY times. I was just hoping they would be decent and take off the coverage I didnt ask for or expect to pay for.In addition to this incident, the car was not clean on the inside. I had to go over it with a Lysol wipe bc I didnt trust they had actually sanitized anything. Something I would have never mentioned but now Im upset/frustrated at their lack of decency.Terrible customer service. Likely will not ever rent from this location again.

I choose to rent from the Enterprise closest to me because once booking online it was the only one offering the type of vehicle I needed. Upon arrival, they didnt have the vehicle I choose available, instead they were going to put me on the next up vehicle which it was just returned. After that vehicle was cleaned up opening the door it reek at cigarettes smoke, I immediately declined the vehicle and choose the only SUV available in the lot, of course I had to pay the difference. The agent was very condescending, I declined all the extras offered because of his attitude. I may say, this is the last time I ever rent with Enterprise.

Car rental there id=s generally fair and easy. Wish the cars were newer with less mileage. When trying to make a future reservation, they said it was best to book it closer to the date to get the best rates. I just wish they would offer fair pricing no matter when I want to book, it would make life easier for their customer. Because they would not do that, I will shop around.

Ive been renting from enterprise for years. Not every experience was a great one but overall they get my vote. And Although their strict on whats required the experience is well worth it. Customer service have always been polite and courteous. Their vehicles are always clean and are current in year so you get a taste of something different. And they have great prices. If they dont have what you need they will have something else comparable to it.

Employees were super nice, but the actual rental was poor. I rented a small car because that’s what I feel comfortable driving, however when I arrived all they had was a large minivan. I didn’t have a choice so I took it. It was dirty and old. The worst car I’ve rented from an enterprise. If the employees weren’t so nice I’d give it even fewer stars. Definitely call before you show up to make sure they have the type of car you actually rented.

Wonderful!!! So easy. Made my reservation on line. Chris was AWESOME. He helped me with my car. He was fast, courteous, funny and so accommodating. Always there when I did something stupid like leave my garage door opener in the car etc. Seriously everyone did an amazing job. Even the girl who drove me to my car when I showed up at 6pm on the dot at closing time. She didnt even think twice and just popped in the car and took me anyway. GREAT JOB everyone!

Enterprise should hire Xavier Jones to teach customer service world-wide. I have never, ever had better service at any rental car place. I travel a lot, Ive never experienced this before.Fast, professional, focused on my needs, not theirs. Im astounded by the absolutely fantastic treatment I got.What happened:1. The dude did the whole transaction in 5 minutes. Totally pleasant and efficient.2. He changed the contract after talking to me and determined there was a more suitable car and method.3. They advertise they will pick you up but when I called to schedule I was told that the weekends are busy and they cannot offer pickup. I contacted corporate who then reached out to the branch to find out more details. I was then told that the branch would have to close down and make all other customers wait outside while they go to pick me up. I was so offended by their assertion of my entitlement. Of course I wouldn’t expect that- I just want what is promised to me as a regular paying customer. The branch manager, Emerson, called me back to offer a solution and in the process offended me again by existing I misunderstood what was said by the agent. He made a flemsy attempt to resolve by offering to pick me up between 1:30 & 2pm.... my reservation is for 12!!! So how does that help me?!?!? Terrible customer service and even worse customer relations. Business 101- don’t offend your customers.

This acknowledgement should have been posted months ago. Nevertheless, I made it up in my mind when I picked up a vehicle today that I needed to give the branch manager a shout out. Its never too late to give credit where it is certainly due. Chris, the Branch Manager, is simply exceptional, personable and professional person to work with. I can honestly say that he consistently demonstrates excellent customer service each time my mom and I are in need of rental car services. Never have to worry or deal with unforseen issues and if something is not right, its handled on the spot. Absolutely enjoy this location. The service at the local Apex Enterprise was excellent. But imagine the shock I had when two weeks after I turned the car in and got my $50 deposit back two more withdrawals came out of my account with no notification. They were for tolls on the expressway, which I am fine with. What I’m not fine with is the tolls totaled $23.79 but Enterprise added to that “surcharges” totaling $19.75. That’s ridiculous and even more so when they made the withdrawals without giving me an notification they were doing it. To this day, two weeks after the fact, I had to walk in the local Enterprise to find out why money came out of my account. Likely my last business with Enterprise.

Rented a mid size car in advance for Thanksgiving week. When I showed up to pick up the car I was offered all different size cars and trucks. I dont think they had a mid size 4 door on the lot. Reserving was easy and service was good besides the selection of cars. Now trying to rent a car for my son to come home for Christmas and being told I cant pay for it unless I am there on site. Dont make any sense for a franchise.

My experience renting with this site was great! They did not have the minivan I originally requested because it was at another site. the driver called and said he was behind an accident on the freeway and wasnt sure when he would make it in, so they gave me a free upgrade to an SUV. They mentioned how much better and bigger it was but then I joked about how the gas mileage wasnt better and to my surprise they told me they would give me a free full tank of gas! I was not expecting that but grateful they offered! They even called ma day later to check on me and to be sure the rental was good for me...great customer service!

Amazing service, Friendly staff. I had an emergency and they were very kind and understanding. I needed to buy a new vehicle, as mine had a broken transmission, I also needed to keep extending the number of days I needed to keep it .. There was never any problem keeping it as long as I needed too . As I said, very understanding .I rented a Dodge Grand Caravan. This location is just around the corner from me so I go there due to its convenience. Ive rented there a few times each year and each time the car Im given has windows that are filthy, filthy dirty with a film. The outside isnt much better. I would think they could at least give me a clean car since there is a full car wash directly across the street. This time though, if that wasnt enough, I had reserved a full size car online for a 5:30 pm pick up, (they close at 6:00 pm), and had gone in at 2:30 pm to check and make sure they had a full size waiting for me. I was assured it would be, But, when I went back at 5:30 to get it they didnt have it so I had to wait until it arrived from another location. At 6:30 pm the car arrived but it wasnt a full size car. So, I took it anyway because it was late. Will I use this location again? Probably. Due to its convenient location. But I sure wish they can get their act together.

It was a surprise today that after several years of renting with Enterprise that the new Apex location prohibits customers from parking overnight. The branch offered no assistance other than to state my vehicle will be towed if left more than two hours. While there a vehicle was towed and it seemed as if the staff enjoyed the inconvenience it was putting on the customers.

I got a great rate. The personnel at the customer service counter were very friendly and accommodating. I was picked up from my house on time as requested. I would return there and also recommend the Apex, NC location.

They had my car ready for me. Only negative I can think of is no garage or anything. But that is probably normal for non airport locations. They did have a drop box for return which was convenient. I would recommend.

This is my second insurance claim with Enterprise in Apex. The first one was great, no issue. This time, when I pick my rental, Mr. Christopher Barbaretta sell me the insurance protection. He told me multiple times that I will get a discount, so the total of 4 days will be $22.03. I ask multiple times if that is per day or total of 4 days cost. Yes, he assured me total of $22.03 for 4 days.When I drop my car off last night, I got charge the $22.03 per day! not the total of 4 days was selling by Mr Barbaretta. When I called in, the customer service explain to me it is $22.03 per day. She said she will do the refund. I am very disappoint the way they do business. I will prefer they would just be honest with me at the first place.

My husband and I had one car in the repair shop last Saturday when we took his car to Bed, Bath & Beyond in Holly Springs. We feared the worst for his car & when we realized Enterprise closed at 3:00 pm, we called them quickly to rent a car.We worked with Kayla – who was amazing! She zipped right down to Bed, Bath & Beyond to pick me up, while my husband waited for a tow truck. She was SO NICE, thorough, didn’t put too hard of a “sell” on any upgrades. She did her upgrade spiel but didn’t put a lot of pressure like other rental car places.Just wanted to let you know that Kayla is a real credit to your business and we won’t hesitate to rent from Enterprise again.

Exceptional customer service quality. Our standard SUV was not ready, so we were offered an upgrade at no additional cost. We declined the upgrade and were treated like family during our wait, while our vehicle was being cleaned.. Our representative was apologetic, friendly and very personable. We will use this location again for future rentals.

Edit:Initially had an issue with the finalization of my rental with some confusion of them charging an extra day. The issue was resolved quickly and was just a miscommunication issue on my behalf. The people who work here are very patient and understanding! Thank you again
