Took my 1st gen there.Initially I was put off by the heavy diagnostic fee but at the same time I get it, and it goes into the repair cost so its not like its absurd.Overall great service and the work was done well and in a timely manner, no up selling or hassle.I feel for the repair done the price was very fair and the work was good.Definitely going back to them when needed.Just be aware they charge a diagnosis fee for everything, like for example my door locks stick so I left a note asking them to see about changing them out. When they called the lady explained about the diagnostic fee, I explained I didnt need a diagnostic, I knew the part was worn out and needed replacement, then they gave a quote for that which was a fair price.Just be aware if you go in and be like it aint running right... Theres gonna be diagnostic fees, which is totally fair.If you know directly what work you need done I.E something replaced, just tell them that and skip the fee.

Ive taken my vehicles here for years.They are great to work with, and reasonable with prices.They really care about customers, going so far as to text me to remind me to come in for a service or oil change when I forget.Thought they do tend to get rather busy sometimes, so appointments are usualy necessary at least a week in advance.

So Ive had my Jeep Wrangler and both my Dodge diesels in here. These guys and gals are top notch! I have been all over the US and this is one of the top 5 shops Ive ever been to. Always accommodating as much as can be expected, always upfront about costs, if they see something thats not right they bring it up and let me decide if I want to fix it then, no pressure. Good shop!

Absolutely the best diesel shop in the area. They came recommended by a very good friend who has a shop but doesnt work on diesels. I had to bring my Ford Excursion in because it died on the road and they were able to track the issue down and repair it in a timely manner. The cost was very reasonable considering all the work they did. The office staff was professional and great to work with. They finished on time and right on the estimate. They treated us like valued customers who really mattered. They even contacted me after to find out if i was satisfied with all aspects of their service. I have and would again recommend Reliable for any repair needs.

Told me my battery was good, 2 days later its dead again.Took it to another shop, they immediately point out that the battery is in fact much older than its listed lifetime, something Reliable auto failed to even mention.Reliable auto informed me they tested if the battery could hold a voltage, said the values were all good. The next place I took it to did the carbon pile test right in front of me, it couldnt hold a charge.Aka reliable auto successfully swindled me out of $130. Thats what you get when you pay cash.

I made several visits to this shop. On the first visit I was told I needed to replace the injection pump....done. Returned next day because problem still existed. They replaced the pump again. Got the truck back running, but again it failed. I was told of another problem to fix...done. Each visit they gave me back my truck running and I returned nearly the next day with the same problem. Each visit I was told it was because of another problem, which I fixed each time, until one day they said it was the engine wiring harness...something that could not be replaced. The truck sat several months. One day I fired it up and it ran perfectly. Then it went back to failing after a month. Eventually, I took the truck to another shop which kept the truck for a few months so as to diagnose the problem completely. They replaced an oil sending unit, a sensor, and the injection pump again. I received the truck in proper working order and it has not been back to a shop since. It has even traveled across the country w/o a problem. I call this place Unreliable Automotive. They DO NOT have the knowledge and expertise with GM products as they do with Ford. I would never take another vehicle back to them. They should have reimbursed the money I spent on having a 3rd injection pump installed. The problem was NOT the electrical wiring as they stated last. They DID NOT keep the truck long enough to diagnose the problem correctly as they should have. They treated my truck as many mechanics do, put a band aide on it and get started on the next. If your Chevy has a problem, spend a little more and take it to a PROFESSIONAL.

My daughter took her car to Reliable per my recommendation, because it was leaking oil. She spent over $3000 to replace the head gaskets and a transmission line. It still leaks. I responded to Vics request for a review by explaining the situation and asking for some insight on 6/1/21. As of today (6/18/21) he has not responded. I may be looking for another mechanic.

I have had a lot of repairs done on my 2005 Ford F350 6.0. The staff at Reliable have been excellent and the price is typically better than their main competitor. I will continue to do business with Reliable and I refer all my friends with diesels.

STAY AWAY! Complete scam artists. Im shocked at the number of good reviews. Because my insurance claim was denied they charged me 700 dollars and did almost nothing. When i picked up my vehicle the air cleaner was laying on the floor, i was given no summary of what was done, and i still have all of the same problems i did when i brought it in. I had to go elsewhere and get another quote, where i was told by two separate mechanics that they obviously did practically nothing. If they had checked it out like they were supposed to multiple issues would have been uncovered. STAY AWAY.

Vic took the time to explain why the repairs are needed and what caused the problem. It was his keen eye that noticed the dye sprayed from the air conditioning. Repairs were completed quickly

Only went through once very nice very friendly good prices got a fuel filter replace on my 06 2500HD Duramax..... was able to make an appointment for next day service out of very impressed... Ill be going back there shortly for oil change and future repairs if needed

I love Vic and his crew they take care of my diesel truck and were able to help my daughter out with her Beamer.

Brought my 2000 7.3 powerstroke in due to random electrical problems. Unlike the Ford dealership who was unable to figure out the codes, they meticulously went through all of them repairing each issue my truck was having. Nobody likes spending money on repairs but having a group you can look in the eyes and know they are not trying to rip you off, helps the medicine go down.

Do not go to this shop! My brother used to work there then I can tell that the owner has problems with alchool. Many times he had show up drunk at work, since he is the owner nobody says anything and the worst thing is that if they mess up any car they do not admit it and you end up paying their mistakes. HOW CAN YOU TRUST YOUR CAR WITH DRUNK MECHANIC? becareful with this shop.

Solid customer service and much cheaper/honest than a dealership

The number three cylinder in our Ford Exployer sport trac truck started misfiring so look to ( D & K Automotive repair) after two times in there shop they said we could not find the problem, with the misfire, than took it to (Antioch Napa auto care) I asked them check the fuel injectors out they told me we they need to take the valve cover off its a Brocken valve spring or bad valve guides and needs a valve job so we paid them $485 dollars for a bad diagnostic test !!!!!! Than we found RELIABLE AUTOMOTIVE we talked to VIC CARR the owner and to our astonishment they found bad fuel injectors and replaced them ! now the truck runs like new .,Thanks for the very good job.
