My tub faucet was leaking and had seen better days. The team of two showed up, looked at it, gave me my options of repair or complete replace, and were in and out in 45 minutes.Very professional, very efficient, and I have zero complaints. Id recommend them to anyone.

I had a basement floor drain backing up and they were able to come out the same day to get it cleared. They augured out the piping going to the main and, importantly, they tested their work to make sure it was truly fixed. When they saw it still wasnt draining as fast as it should, they took the extra time to investigate and found an additional blockage and cleared that as well. It drains like a champ now and its one less thing to worry about!

I had them unclog one drain in the basement. They charged over $1500.00. If you ever use them, make sure you get a quote in writing and that they dont do extras. For example, they removed the toilet even though it wasnt clogged and charged over $250.00 to lift up the toilet, set it aside and reinstall.

These guys were great and I would highly recommend them! I woke up to a leaking/broken water heater and it was fixed by lunch time. They were extremely professional and left the area cleaner than it was before they got there. I will definitely be using them for any future plumbing issues.

Called Terry to replace our parents bathtub drain and felt like my parents were taken advantage of since they did not understand what he quoted them and we were not available to come and supervise... Cost over $700 to replace and now the entire bath tub is rusted. Blamed it on old tub and told us to replace the entire tub... After $700 to get a drain fixed?!?!! So so sad and disappointed in this service. Thought they can be trusted since they advertise it in church bulletins. Will never use them again.

I was really impressed that the owner answered his phone after 10 pm. He gave immediate advice on how to handle the situation and asked us to call back in the morning to schedule an appointment. I had already left 5 messages with other local plumbers and a week later no one has responded. I wasnt home during the installation, but their customer service is out of this world!

This place is horribly overpriced and they do not do free estimates like MANY other places. They quoted me a simple garbage disposal replacement at $638 including a $90 truck fee. I had a gift certificate which I tried to apply for the visit but they told me it was not valid for “truck fees”. This weekend I am going to install my own disposal for about $120 and at most an hour of my time.

This company does quality work but it costs plenty. On a recent project the final charge amounted to about $200 per hour. I am being generous. It was likely closer to $250.00 per hour.

We have Terry over to install two new exterior spigots in our home. one of the fittings, the newer crimp style, popped this spring when I turned the water back on to the spigot. the other one was fine. I called Terry, he looked up the service call.. we scheduled them to come out to fix it. Then they charged us $245!I could see this coming when he began to question if the line was bleed out before winter. It indeed was. But I guess Terry would rather blame a customer for a bad fitting that may have been installed improperly.. and loose a customer, gain a bad review -- than take the 10-15 minutes to make it right.we will not be using Terry Overacker Plumbing again.

Terry Overacker Plumbing managed to break off their snake in our main drain (in two places) getting 80 of it lodged in our lines, charged us $800 for the pleasure, and left.Weve since called in another company to assess the damages, cutter head is lodged in city main sewer, going to cost us almost $10,000 to have the yard/street dug up, snake retrieved, and line repaired. Other company says other than a few roots our line is just fine, no collapse, no breaks, in their opinion it was inexperience, rushing, poor equipment condition, or all three on the part of Overacker which likely caused the snake to snap, they were astounded that Overacker still billed us $800 for the work performed.Since Terry Jr. left the company, there does not seem to be any customer service left, avoid this company at all cost, learn from my $10,000 mistake in trusting them.

I have had occasion to use Overacker Plumbing on several occasions including, just recently, drain clearing and repair. We have an old house with old (1905) plumbing, a lot of which needed replacing. It was done quickly, efficiently, and at a reasonable price. I expected quality work and I got it, excellent quality. Would I use them again? Definitely. Would I recommend them to others? Definitely. All the bathrooms needed total replacement and Overacker Plumbing did a great job. Ill use them again (though I hope the old plumbing in the house stays healthy for a little while).

I had Terry Overacker Plumbing install a natural gas tankless water heater in my house. When we put it on the market it was the number one selling feature. We could run the dishwasher, the washing machine and take 5 showers and still have hot water. We built our current house and just moved in. The builder installed a water heater with a tank again. We will be having Terry Overacker Plumbing coming out to remove it and install a tankless water heater right away.

I have used this service three times. The son, Terry Overacker Jr., replaced a garbage disposal unit for a fair price and his work was excellent. I would hire him any time- its his Dad who is the rip-off artist! Next time I called, I got Terry Overacker Sr., who charged way too much (I forget for what...) The third time, last week, Terry Overacker Sr., charged my widowed mother $365.00 for twenty dollars worth of material and twenty minutes of his time. I had no idea what he was doing as I have no plumbing experience but it turned out he put in a ball joint or a turn off valve. I told him, if he charged my Mother that - I would pay him (because I had agreed to- even though I had no idea what he was doing...)but would never use his service again as it was literally less than twenty minutes of his time and $20.00 dollars worth of material! I confronted him about the cost and he told me I was paying for his EXPERTISE. I told him that Id rather pay someone a lot less for less expertise... He took advantage of the fact we were ladies and had no experience with plumbing! My Mom has COPD and widowed... He is a shark and I will never call this company again!

At approximately 10:00 am on April 11 we discovered a leaking pipe in our family room ceiling. We shut the water off and called Terry Overacker Plumbing. We were told that someone would be at our home on April 12 between 12-3 pm. At 2:30 pm on April 12 , we called the office again as no one had shown up. We were still without water. At approximately 3:00 pm that day, two plumbers showed up. One of the men quickly looked at the leak and the area that I pointed out to them. One of the men called the office and then informed me that the problem would take too much time to repair but could return on Monday April 17, full well knowing that we were without water. The two plumbers left my home and I called another plumbing service, Ross Plumbing. Ross came to my home immediately, fixed the problem for a nominal fee. Very poor customer service on the part of Terry Overacker Plumbing. Will never call them again!

We first tried a different plumbing company that dug into the wall, and temporarily fixed our problem. They recommended the solution of bigger PVC pipes. This sounded odd to us, and when the problem occurred again, I decided that we should call Terry Overacker plumbing, as I had used him in other areas before. Terry was able to come out and accurately assess our situation, and fix it with no problem (and not get into the wall)! This was a great relief for us and he offered up additional solutions that would make our situation even better. Terry is a solid value and I highly recommend his company/services.Fields family

Terry is a nice guy and was very helpful to me when I gutted my main bathroom and remodeled it. I was doing most of the work myself, so Terry told me how to do the work properly. This was great. But I had Overacker Plumbing come and install the bath tub we ordered from him and to replumb the toilet drain and flange. The tub they installed beautifully. However, the copper shower pipe came loose, so I had to fix that on my own. The plumber also did a hack job on my toilet drain and flange. I couldve done a better job myself. He did not use the correct screws to fasten the toilet flange to the subfloor. I had to remove those thin, long sheetrock screws he used and install the correct-sized brass screws. I told Terry about this; he didnt really have much to say. So I showed him the photos I took of the sloppy work his employee did, then I showed him pictures of the work I did to replace the work his employee did. Good help is hard to find these days, eh?

Are water heater went out on a date Friday afternoon. Had Greg and Rick out to install a new one couldnt ask for better service fast and friendly with great attitudes.

We hired Terry to replace a bathtub faucet that was leaking internally and dripping into the basement. They fixed it quickly and for a reasonable price. One of the new tiles was a little bit out of alignment, and they came back gladly and re-did all the tile-work... above and beyond the call!We were very impressed. Very nice plumbers , however, I feel like I was completely ripped off. We simply needed a new bathroom faucet or just a leak fixed.I wouldnt be surprised if we didnt even need a new faucet and just the leak could have been fixed. 650.00 for a bathroom faucet is just ridiculous. Im still mad at myself for not thinking about the price and just wanting it fixed. Way overpriced I will not call again !:((

I called them to get an estimate on some misc plumbing needs. They were very nice on the phone, and Terry himself was pleasant to talk to. They said they will do an estimate and if I do not do the work it would be $88 which is very reasonable.The reason for this rating was the plumber who came out could be described as a good ol boy. Meaning he is stuck in the 1950s in his way of communicating. He was very dismissive and glossed over details because my husband and I are not plumbers. He even said and blah blah blah when going over the scope of work!As someone in the trades who puts together estimates, I considered his demeanor outdated and borderline insulting. He had a young trainee with him and I hope that the trainee can use this a learning experience how not to treat people.

Terry Overacker Plumbing has done work for my parents on more than one occasion. Im sorry I wasnt there to stop them from ripping them off. My dad just called them again because they gave him a $50 coupon. They gave him an estimate for disconnecting, draining, moving, and reconnecting the water heater. Almost $1200.00. You can completely replace a water heater for less than that. Dont call Terry Overacker! I repeat Dont call Terry Overacker! Dont be enticed by a $50 coupon because you could use three of them and still pay too much!

I called Overack Plumbing for a quote on installing a wash tub and faucet which I already had. Took almost 3 weeks and 2 trips to finally get a price from them. Terry Sr. informed me that it would take his plumbers about a day plus to complete and the quote was $3500. I would think for that price I would be able to have one of Terrys plumbers out working on my house for a month! Save yourself $120 and google Anoka Plumbers.

We used this company to replace a few outdoor water faucets 1yr and 2months ago. Recently with the cold weather, one has been acting up. We called to get help b/c we dont want our pipes to burst and Terry and another rep. Greg (who was extremely rude) gave us a hard time about coming out to repair the work they had done. They wanted to charge us over $300 just in labor alone for work they did just over a year ago. We expect faucets to last longer than a year and are extremely disappointed that this company would not stand by their work. We found a different company who will now get the job...one who will hopefully honor their work in the future. Do not use Terry Overacker plumbing unless youre looking for a quick fix and to be ripped off! Its too bad b/c we work off referrals and also take pride in giving them to other friends/neighbors.
