We were fortunate to be able to celebrate our daughters wedding at The Mill Site. The venue was beautiful and Emily was amazing to work with. We were given so many compliments. It is the perfect venue floor plan. Our guests loved the fact that there was a patio. It gave some the option to relax outside. Everything was done with impeccable taste and care. Thank you, Emily and Darrin, for helping make it a day she will never forget!

Excellent venue! The building and grounds are a great place for an event. The space is large and open with great windows for natural light. We attended a memorial for a friend there, but the space would be great for any number of event types.

We loved having our wedding at the Mill Site! The venue is so beautiful and Emily is so easy to work with and accommodating. She really went above and beyond for us and all of our guests were talking about how amazing the venue looked!

The mill site is a gorgeous venue right off the river. Its super close to downtown Anoka, which is where we went to after our wedding!Our wedding at The Mill Site was absolutely beautiful. So many people loved the space, and thought it was perfect. Tons of people mingled inside and outside.Emily, the owner / venue manager was incredibly helpful. She was super responsive to all of my emails and questions, she was so kind and thoughtful, and extremely helpful with everything / anything!This place is absolutely stunning. Dont even question it, just have your event here!

WOW!! This venue is STUNNING and easily adapts to make the space unique to each event. The owners (especially EMILY!!!) are INCREDIBLE to work with – kind, knowledgeable, prompt, thorough and real down to earth good humans. My husband and I found this spot when they were still finishing up construction and knew immediately that we would be married there. This venue was the foundation of our perfect day and Emily was there every step of the way to make sure it was seamless. SERIOUSLY … My dad is a crotchety old frump with high standards for service and he RAVED about the venue and service. 10/10!!

We want to give some thanks and praise to The Mill Site for providing us with the most beautiful wedding day! Because of COVID, we were forced to change our entire wedding plans with only 30 days to go. I came across this brand-new venue and reached out to Emily to see if it was even possible! She went above and beyond to make the venue ready for us and their very first wedding. We can not say enough good things about working with them and how smooth the day went! They were so open to all my ideas and accommodating to what we wanted for our day. It truly was the perfect day and better than we could have imagined! Our guests were blown away with the beauty of the building and the wonderful views of the river. This venue is really a hidden gem in such a cute historic town. We are so thankful and grateful for all they did to make our day happen!

Held a wedding here in September! Gorgeous river views, clean and beautiful facility, and a quiet part of downtown Anoka. Owner and operator is friendly, easy to work with, and puts in a ton of effort to make the wedding successful, both before and during the event. The only critique is the venue is more used to events with more professional help (e.g caterers, DJ, etc.) They definitely made it work great for us, but if you are saving money and doing some of these things yourself, be prepared to have to provide a little more direction. Overall though, an outstanding venue!!!

Working with The Mill Site was so much fun! They are located right on the river, and had lots of locations to choose from for my couples wedding photos! Loved working with you guys!!

The Mill Site is a venue, not a restaurant. It is a brick building right on the river in Anoka, with beautiful views and nice grounds. A garage door opens up to the outside, and I can easily picture a wedding reception free flowing between inside and outside. We were there for a seminar that was catered. Like many restaurant type venues, it was loud. With brick walls, cement floors, and open trusses, there is nothing to absorb sound. If youre looking for a place to hold a party, check it out.

Very nice event center. Pleasant space outdoors in good weather, and plenty of space inside their well remodeled vintage building. They are easy to work with for an event, very helpful. Recommended.

This place was an amazing venue with a vintage charm. It’s also right on the rum river which was cool. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

I can’t speak more highly of this venue, and the owner (Emily). She was prompt and thorough with her responses, willing to answer any questions, and the venue is absolutely stunning. I couldn’t think of a more perfect spot for my wedding and I’m so glad we chose this spot!

I was here for my brother and sister-in-laws wedding and it was beautiful! Inside and outside of the venue was so pretty.
