I only gave it one star bc I had to. It doesnt deserve on star. These people are obnoxious, hateful, and very emotionally detached from the people they are suppose to be serving. I wish every church in Calhoun County that donates to this organization knew exactly how rude these people act. Its ironic that an organization that is suppose to be there to help people could be so rude and uncaring to the poor and the sick that come to them. They are located on a second floor building with no handicap access, and a buzzer button down stairs that doesnt work, thst a handicapped person is suppose to ring so they can go downstairs to wait on you. When I called them on it being broken, they swore the button did work. It does not work. I talked to the director, Mr. Walton, about how rude they were and I see where they get it, bc he was obnoxious. See you at one of the next board meetings Mr. Walton, bc they will be hearing from me. There is no accountability in place for how clients are talked to by these office workers. There needs to be monitoring cameras in place, phone lines that are monitored for customer service accountability purposes, and a director in place who cares and is involved. They need to be audited by a outside service to see that they are not just sending their friends for help, bc they are not helping like they should without partiality.
