Rude guard, rude employees at front desks. And there is no concern for health and safety between one person and the next. I was in there several times last week and noticed the unhealthy conditions. Also Bo concern for anyones privacy. I heard 4 different peoples information. Name, ss#, date of birth and their phone numbers.

Waited 4 months for food stamps when I was laid off and only got them when I finally went back to work because my worker claimed my mailing address that I provided received mail from did not exist. I cant get in touch with my child support worker like ever and he is YEARS behind on payments but I cant go after it and I need the help now!!

So corrupt! They rarely help children, in all actuality...in fact a lot of the times, make worse or harder on not only the parents but the children! They are the ones that suffer! And when you tell them something, they look the other way. So I have nothing good to say about this system 😸 I think Someone should be held accountable for all the babies DHR has let come into this world. They like the repeatative of this cycle..keeps them in a job! Its sick and sad!

The most unprofessional place ever they dont like to return phone calls, they dont know how to leave a professional message, the social workers allowing children to stay in unstable homes to be abused, the social workers are young and lazy. They dont care about children they can care less. Sloppy and lazy working people I ever seen before in my life. This brand new building and its not being used to its potential what a waist.

I finally worked up the courage to apply for CS. My case worker was extremely rude to me. She never talked to me. Never reached out to me or my sons father. One day at court i consulted to her. I was missing work for court dates that my sons father never would attempt to make. Every time she’s donnothing. On this particular day she began to be so snotty. Insulting my past and my sons father. Understand she knows nothing about me. We have never discussed anything. She dismissed my case on spot. After speaking to me in front of my so incredibly rude . I suggest anyone go elsewhere.

I can’t never get them to call me back . I leave messages & messages but my case worker never calls back. Hi voice message says leave name , number, SS # & message I will call you back . He never does. He never answers the phone either always voice mail. Every time I call another man in charge & tell him about this case worker I always get a return call in a few minutes from my worker . He don’t have time or answer calls but when the other guy tells him , then he has time to call me. That tells me a lot . He needs to do his job .

The case works dont never call you back when need them its a lot i wish they would stop. Then child support some people get like $380 or. $400 child support for one child and i dont think its right for some of us get $140 for one child and the others get all that money for one child i think they should treat us all the same then the child support works that work there are friends with the girls that get child support and they help them more and faster they get more than they should and its not right at all its a lot bad things going on at the DHR and its not right and the case works works wit they friends for child support they dont need to work there and helping they friends get more money and its only Anniston al DHR that do that

The caseworkers never listen when you try to tell them something and NEVER call you back no matter how many messages you leave.

It just doesnt offer as much as it use to. The place was built to accommodate the copacity of business it had when located on Leighton Ave and now it is so busy your lucky if you get in and out in 4-5 hours.

The state of Alabama could take notes from Florida on how to treat their sickly, ailing and poor citizens. Ive been here one year and have had to fight for treatment, medication, and every other type of assistance. If it were not for sovereign immunity, I would get litigious on these podunk conservatives. Its not only unconscionable, but prejudice against their citizens who have suffered the misfortune of failing health and/or poverty. Im happy to say, Im a Floridian out of her element. SHAME ON YOU, Alabama!!!

The Child Support Division Sucks!!! Whats the point of having enforcement when you dont even follow the guidelines. Oh yeah, thats right they dont care because its not them in our shoes. I believe they need to replace some employees and put people in there that actually know the law and keeps there clients up to date with whats going on in the case. Because the ones there are apparently just there for a paycheck. Nice to know that parents who are ordered to pay Child Support and dont, get away with so much and still think they have rights when they dont even help support the child.. Haha. Guess Im going to have to go to the next step..

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! They do not care about you, they barely listen to you, it feels like they are just trying to rush you out so they can rush the next person out until the end of their shift. They were not informative. They did not look happy to be there!!

People are rude and everything is in there time cause believe me they are in no hurry to aid you or your family in any way still they are a decent establishment just knowwalking in they are government funded and to them your problems r not priority..

The worst. love how they have social workers that come to your school, pull you out of class, & tell you youre being ripped away from your family over an alligation. THEN send you back to class after spitting out insensitive comments about family. my social worker didnt even question my brother & i :) but ripped us away from my mom who works non stop to provide for us :))))) cute. my social workers are very incompetent. if i dont get to go home, im gonna raise some hell. but overall i hate dhr.

Workers are soooo rude its not even funny, called about my food stamp case & the lady kept getting smart & hanging up in my face. You know if you dont like your job QUIT, I think this place really needs to reevaluate their employees because its so sad.

They took my 10 year old little girl for one really stupid decision I made one day and only one time. My husband and I are disabled and its very difficult for us to travel but since the day in question there has been no reason to not let her come home. We have no criminal charges against us. In 3 months they have moved her 6 times. Now they have turned my beautiful little girl into threatening to harm herself. I keep telling them I will still do anything they want us to just let her come back where she feels loved. They called last night to tell me they put her in Baypoint Psychiatric Hospital to be evaluated for medication. All of her problems are caused by DHR.

Had a good experience here and a bad experience here. Lady in the second window should not work with the public. She was rude and disrespectful. She is the reason they need a security guard in the building. The lady next to her extremely friendly and helpful.

This place has the worst workers you could imagine. If your a dad, you get no help. My ex had her kids taken by DHR 3 times and our kid twice. 5 times shes had her kids taken and every time they give her the kids back. Im having to fight tooth and nail just to gain full custody of my child and Im getting zero help or assistance from dhr. As a matter of fact I was told directly from my childs case worker that they always make it a point to put the children back with the mother.

Thay are very rud and my case worker is to i save my stamps to june22 from may 22 but thay keep saying i got junes on the first but i didnot and now its june 22 and i have no stamps now i have to call and call its stuped i am not racist but it was better when the white weman where there and the black weman down there make you feel stupid when i have been with then for meany years and you can ask them for a six month reaport we dont give a six month reaport paper you will have to what till it comes in the mail. I still get the run around it dont make no sense someone needs to do something because i am crying and hungry and thay just playing its sad and scary
