Such an awesome trail system. If you have a bike and a couple hours, do yourself a favor and go sample this gem

Very fun trails, but be aware of ticks! My boyfriend and I went hiking there and he had 3 ticks on him and our dog had one on her. Obviouosy its nature theres going to be ticks but just be aware theyre bad on this trail !

Beautiful trail system with many miles of rolling hills and various terrain (gravel, rock, roots, sand). The paths interweave so it can seem confusing, but if you turn back around most routes lead right back to the parking lot. There are also maps every mile or so which is super helpful. Kudos to the group who maintains these trails, I had an awesome run and would love to come back sometime!

An amazing trail systems with so many options from either trailhead. Well maintained! But some parts may be too technical for some riders.

In my opinion, Coldwater is my top favorite place to get in a big ride, very rewarding climbs and descents!

One of the best. Really long trail if you do the whole thing in one day. My legs cramped on mile 7, and we had 11 more miles to go... it was still super fun

Great trails and well made and maintained.

Epic destination for mountain bikers. The climbs may be long but their moderate in difficulty so you dont wear yourself out before the decent. Oh, and what a fantastic quiver of decents there are. The clissic Bomb Dog, Hare, Trillium, Goldilocks and now the super intense Gazza. The terrain is pretty rocky but hey, were mountain bikers, not roadies.

This was my first time riding the Coldwater Mountain Bike Trail and it will not be my last. We rode a nice loop on the east side of the trails. We went up Tortoise and connected into Chilowee up to a quick connect to Talladega from Goldilocks. Then came all the way down from Talladega to Trillium and finished out on Hare. Very nice 9 mile loop. This Anniston, Al is a very nice and upcoming area for mountain biking.

REALLY like the Monsanto Road end of Coldwater

Its a climb to get to the top but it was worth it on the way down. Baby jumps galore!

Not a gym, not sure why that’s what it shows when you see the description, but solid mtb trail system! They have miles and miles of great trails.

Shredded some gnar, and Ill be back to do it again! Great trail system. Good elevation changes.

Great place to ride challenging and fun. In my opinion the Coldwater Trailhead is a better experience, but the Anniston trailhead is fun too.

Ability testing, technically inspired, flow worthy trails with the occasional rock or two. What more...?

This is my favorite trailhead. This side of the mountain is just good. The other trailhead gets the most usage but I like this side of the mountain best, it offers more variety in my opinion. The whole trail system is good, right now I just like this side better, could be that I have ridden it less, whatever, GET ON YOUR BIKES AND RIDE!
