Do not recommend. We went there with an appointment about a month and a half ago. Told them we were new to the country and gave them all the info. Asked for an estimate and we’re told oh we don’t know, but it won’t be more than $500-$600 and the taxes will be done in 2weeks. After multiple attempts to get a hold of the person (lady) to get answers, we got nothing but empty promises. Three days before tax due (with two of those days being a weekend) we get told yeah taxes are ready, it’s $1500. My advice is Do NoT go to this place unless you want to be lied to and robbed. Hope this review will help others, and they don’t get burned like we did.

This place is excellent. Highly recommended. They definitely changed management, because I had a perfect experience, and the office appeared to be newly renovated with new (much better) employees. Dwayne was awesome and I really didn’t have any issues. I noticed there were bad reviews from prior years, but none of those were even remotely relevant to my experience. It would be a shame if anyone didn’t come here based on past reviews...

Ive been a loyal customer for over ten years. This year has been a nightmare. They refuse to meet in person, its hard to get in touch with the person preparing your taxes, and they are not willing to help out filling out any forms whatsoever. I will be contacting the headquarters. Terrible experience this year.

What an outstanding office, I was able to call in one day and get an appt the next. The nice lady at the front desk was very courteous, and the women who did my taxes was super detailed. I have been with JH for awhile now and I am not going anywhere !

Far from the way it used to be. You can tell some improvements have been made, the changes are good and the office staff is friendly and kind.

Today was one of the BEST experiences I have ever had with doing my taxes. Paulette was extraordinary in customer service, efficiency and kindness and Dwayne was just AMAZING on being fast, professional and thoughtful. Not only did I get a quick refund but it was done so quickly and service was # 1. Thank you so very much!!! 1/30/2020

Do Not take your taxes here. My taxes are being held hostage by this office. They were dropped off a week ago and I’ve called the office repeatedly with no return call so I went to the office on yesterday (Friday 2/22) and the receptionist said Jen the tax repairer would be in the office later that day, I told her to call me once she arrives and I’ll run over and pick them up and I’ll be taking my taxes to someone else. Well, to no surprise no one called me but this morning a guy called me and said he had 2 time slots for me and I told him I didn’t make any appointment for pick up. This place is highly suspect so please keep driving to find a better Jackson Hewitt or a reputable tax service because this location is NOT it. PLEASE BEWARE- YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!

This place and the people who work for them are horrible I’ve been filing with them for 8 years. I finally had enough I will never go back, they just lost a loyal customer of 8yrs.

Jackson Hewitt in Annapolis is FIVE STAR experience was FANTASTIC . I was made to feel like family and I really appreciated the staff and all their help. I will be coming back !

DO NOT COME TO HAVE YOUR TAXES DONE HERE. hadnt my taxes done on 02/14/2019, and as of today, 03/04/2019, I still have not received either my Federal or State refund. As a matter of fact, I have not even, gotten a confirmation e-mail from the IRS, that theyve even received it yet. I have been a customer of Jackson Hewitt for 20 years, and never, have I experienced such a nightmare. My tax refunds are being held hostage and this is the loudest customer service I have ever seen. Never, has it taken more than 10 days to get my State and Federal refunds. This is no way to treat a return customer of 20 years.

Do not come to this Jackson Hewitt! This place holds peoples tax refunds hostage! My son had his taxes done on 2/13/2019, and as of 2/27/2019, still has not gotten a refund!! Please learn from my negative experience, and DO NOT have your taxes done here!

Do NOT EVER come to this Jackson Hewitt!!! It has now been over 3 weeks and my brother STILL hasnt recieved his taxes....the lady who answers the phones has given 3 or 4 different excuses and STILL hasnt even fiked them for my brother....My girlfriend and I were originally going to use this office but after seeing this ridiculous bullshyt happen with my brother, no way in HELL will I ever do business with this office!!!! This office obviously does not care about their clientele or care about the fact that people depend on their tax returns for their families!! All this office cares about is how many lies and excuses they can come up with every single day to cover up the lies and excuses they used the day before!!! Which obviously they have made sure my brothers reviews (along with 2 or 3 other peoples comments and reviews with the same complaints as my brother) hace all been deleted....but we will be sure to write one every day on here as well as all other social media platforms until my brother gets his returns that he was promised to have back almost an entire month ago!!! And for this office to reply to our mother saying that they hace my brothers back is yet ANOTHER absurd lie!!!!
