I bring my father to Capistrano for a haircut and a shave.This might seem to be a simple or run of the mill visit toa barbershop. But my 93 year old father’s visit is anythingbut. Several years ago, my father fell down an escalator,fractured his skull, and suffered a traumatic braininjury. It is quite the project to get him there and intothe shop. These gentlemen are so kind. They help getget him into the shop and make him comfortable. Theyare gentle and excellent in their profession. Moreimportantly, they make my father feel good about himself.I recommend this barbershop and the barbers who workthere to everyone. My son had a hair emergency on a Friday afternoon. A large chunk of his very long hair was pulled out at the scalp. Our only option was to have his head shaved. Faraj at Capitstrano Barbershop worked my son into his schedule and made us feel better about the whole shaving process. We found the barbers there to be friendly, professional, and responsive. Its great to know that businesses like Capistranos Barber Shop still exist. Family owned and operated barber shop, not like the hipster versions popping up all around but a real old time barber shop. You never know who youll run into once inside but the youll always be welcomed like youre family.

Do you like being repeatedly bumped down in line, then waiting 30+ minutes for an uneven trim? All while listening to barbers trash talk women and other customers once they’ve left? Don’t bother coming if you’re not already “in the club”.

If you are a man, have a son or like mens haircuts, go here. I take my son here every month and my husband goes all the time. They have never had a bad haircut. This place feels like an old times barber shop with a little bar hidden away. I highly recommend!!

This place is iconic, a classic barbershop. A great place to stop in to have a chat with the guys and get a haircut too. Gentlemen, if you live in the Annapolis area and you dont get your haircut here then Id argue that you are not a real Annapolitan.

This is the type of barber shop you only see in the movies. You walk in, its crowded with men and women talking and enjoying the Frank Sinatra station. On a chilly winter night, 1 perfect haircut later this place has made a life long customer. Best barber shop / haircut Ive ever experienced in my 27 years.

There is absolutely nothing to say about the quality of the haircut that you could get to this place. I go here every two months, and they are really good. I just hope they hire more barbers because it gets pretty busy on Saturdays.

Ive been here numerous times. Always hit or miss even though you may have same barber. Last time was total miss. Hair on right side of head had a big blotch of hair gone??? Only saw it when I got home and looked in mirror. Decided not to go back... let hair grow out some, then repair elsewhere. Will not be back. Note that this is not an appointment place. First come, first serve....unless you are from state house. Then you bump everyone and go to front of line. Go figure??? I wont be back due to poor haircuts and bumping policy. Unbelievable!

This is not your childhood barbershop, conversations use a wide range of adult language.... The haircuts are amazing and, let me make this clear, THEY CAN STYLE BEARDS/FACIAL HAIR. Plus they are suuuuuuper affordable. Dont forget your cash as they dont take credit/debit cards though there is an ATM in the shop if you forget. They also do a hot lather straight razor trim with your cut. Love this place.

They created interesting atmosphere pretending to be a cheap version of a gentlemens club and providing you some free liqueur in a plastic cup. They also can talk to you A LOT, even too much... BUT: these people can not cut hair, haircuts they do are just AWFUL and only appropriate for village men, who dont care about how their hair look

Know when to go cuz its usually packed but there is a good reason. You literally cant find this type of service and atmosphere anywhere else anymore. WALK-IN & CASH ONLY. Sam is my dude, but you can get a top-notch cut from any one the 4 guys, and even a old-school hot lather shave if you have the time. Donuts on weekends, with snacks and drinks for free anytime you come in for a cut. Thanks to Faraj and the whole crew!!!

I wore my hair long until last week. I would have not gone for it, if I wasn’t confident that the barber I hired was a really good one. I described to him exactly how I wanted my new haircut to look, and he did it that exact same way.

I used to cut my own hair, then went to a salon, but all along, this is were I belong. Its worth every penny for an ol fashion feel. Incredible employees and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

If you don’t go here....You’re wrong. Old school style shop with the best barbers. There is a lost art of a men’s barbershop found here. No appointments and be prepared to want to hang for a while after. Here it’s about more than a haircut. Leave your cell phone in the car and come check it out.

I finally decided to go to the barber yesterday after 5 months of refusing to do so. I had been trying to grow out my hair but it got to a very awkward stage and I knew I needed a barber. The guy at Capistrano was awesome. I got a crew cut and I have never felt this comfortable.

Excellent atmosphere and cut. A lot of locals in the shop and a bit of a wait, however, Faraj and his staff have lively conversation with the shop and take their time with the cuts. If you want to have your hair cut in silence, obviously this isnt the place for you, but if you enjoy a lively Saturday morning with company, head over there.

Before finding Capistrano Barber Shop, I got my mundane haircuts at the mall or some chain. Thank god I found this place, brings old school barber shops BACK and once you experience a straight razor shave and a clean cut by these boys, you will never want to step in a Bubbles or SuperClips again! Customer for life!
