On time, professional and complete! They did an amazing job trimming 24 fruit trees on a chilly day in February.Tried to call and get em back, phone disconnected.Sorry to see this company go into liquidation October 2019.Good luck.

An 18 Maple trunk (of multiple trunks) dropped on my house on a Thursday night. It rested precariously on a roof peak over my picture window. If it rolled a large branch would have disastrously smashed through my window into my living room. Getting it off seemed more dangerous than the original drop. Urban was recommended to me by my partner, whom had had trees on or near her house removed successfully a number of times in town.I left a voice mail at Urban Foresters that night. Friday morning they contacted me, Craig showed up that same morning, prioritized it and a crew was there Saturday morning. Jesse did a wonderful job removing portions of the trunk until safely swinging it away from my house with block and tackles. Four hours later all 5 trunks were cut and piled in manageable pieces for me.The crew was very pleasant, professional, cleaning up and shredding all unusable detritus.They provided an immediate relief for my major concern and fear of a pending further disaster..

As homeowners everyone has experienced jobs that go smoothly and jobs that seem to work out according to Murphy’s Law. A recent tree removal on my property, unfortunately was one of Murphy’s law. Briefly, we hired an arborist affiliated with Urban Foresters to determine if a very large 80+ year old maple, hanging over my house, could be saved. His initial assessment was yes but in the end it could not be saved. We contracted Urban Foresters through the arborist to cut down the tree.Unfortunately, the arborist did not come back out with Urban Forester’s workers when the work was to be completed, nor convey our discussion and instructions with them clearly. Thus, the work crew was not informed of the location of our septic tanks and drove over one of our tanks with their bucket truck resulting in a cracked septic tank.Brad the owner of Urban Foresters came out immediately to assess the situation. He was a true professional throughout the entire situation. We had the septic system inspected at his expense and it was determined that one of the tanks would indeed need to be replaced. Brad and I both got quotes on the work needing to be done and while the quote I received was a few hundred dollars more, he indicated for my peace of mind he would go with my quote to have the work done.During the entire process, Brad had given my wife and I his cell number and he was easy to contact, a service that seems to be ever elusive these days.While the job did not go as planned, 1) the tree did come down with ease, professionally and without damage to my home and 2) Brad the owner took care of his customer. Urban Foresters handled both the good and bad professionally, in stride, and took what was easily a negative experience and made it a positive one. Looking back, although I know a mistake was made, I remember how well the process was handled. If you are looking for a company that does great work and owns up to it when they don’t, because accidents can happen, then I would highly recommend Urban Foresters.

Urban Foresters, Inc came out to Varsity Ford to treat and trim our Norway Maple Trees. These trees help define the front of our dealership through the Spring, Summer and Fall. Most of our trees along Jackson have been with us for 25 plus years. We had lost one to disease a few years ago and it looked like we might lose a couple more, but they saved them. I cant say enough about the care they took in treating and trimming our trees. I called to get a quote for tree removal and asked if they could give me a call when they are on the way to the property. I was told no. Seems like a simple request to me.I hope thats not indicative of the quality of their service. Ill do business elsewhere.

I call Urban on the advice of multiple neighbors,The receptionist was very helpfull and pleasant, the crew was very professional and experienced,they showed up on time as promised. I would highly reccommend Urban Foresters to anyone.
