Handle with Care Moving and Delivery out of Ann Arbor was not the cheapest moving bid I got, but they had very strong google reviews. Im another very satisfied customer. Circumstances on their end and mine made a very quick move possible; and everyone involved was helpful, honest, did their job well, and followed through on everything they said they would do. Everyone there (Eileen, Heather, the owner Ray, to the packers Alex and Milton and the delivery person Billy) did a great job. There was not one surprise, unexpected cost, etc. Everyone was ethical and above board. Strongest possible recommendation from me.

Moving is not an easy logistical maneuver. Having stated that fact, Handle With Care Moving and Delivery is definitely the BEST moving company that one may be so lucky to engage. I was very happy with HWCM&Ds value for what was moved. They handled all of our large items, including a piano, entertainment center, and five rooms full of furniture without a scratch. The only thing that broke during the move was a stray lightbulb in the basement. Overall, very happy with the service that was received. Would recommend to people in the Southeast Michigan area.

Absolutely incredible! The crew took off doors and windows in the blink of an eye to get furniture in and out of tight places. These guys are careful with everything and protected the floors with cardboard when moving. They were fast! We’ll move again in two years and will use again!

I needed a bedroom moved to the main floor and an office moved to the lower level. Any move one makes can be hard, but this one was well done.The move went smoothly. The movers were very good, and polite. They didnt object if I need to change a furniture arrangement. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I have worked with several moving companies throughout the US in the past and this has been by far the WORST experience. Despite their name, the company was reckless and negligent when it came to packing, transporting and unloading. They broke at least 10 different items including a couch as a result of inappropriate packing and loading (several boxes labeled fragile arrived smashed). They were also careless in loading items- leaving several boxes behind that required them to be called to come a second time to retrieve the boxes AND failing to pack numerous items they were instructed to pack, resulting in the customer having to pay over $150 in shipping fees to get the items to the new location. The company failed to update the delivery address which resulted in them showing up to the wrong place and an hour delay for unloading. They also refused to place large furniture items in the correct spots which resulted in additional costs to the customer to have to hire separate movers to complete the job. The worst part of all of this however was the owners rude, inappropriate and condescending approach to dealing with any of these issues. He refused to take ownership for any of these issues or compensate the customer for the extensive extra costs incurred due to failures on the part of the company (shipping fees, additional mover fees). The owner sent multiple harassing emails wherein he proceeded to call the customer a liar about indisputable issues (such as having previously provided the correct address, documenting items not packed as an error on the part of the company, numerous broken items, and photo-documentation of furniture not being properly placed in the new location). A formal complaint was lodged with the Better Business Bureau in hopes that they can intercede and prevent future customers from having to suffer such a horrific experience. As demonstrated by the multiple other 1 star reviews that highlight negligence and rude/inappropriate conduct by the owner, this is a recurrent theme and general business practice for Handle With Care Moving.The owners response to this 100% truthful review speaks for itself. He refuses to take ownership for his companys errors. His posting of the google drive link is a violation of privacy laws and is also an inaccurate summary of events. This just further demonstrates his complete lack of professionalism. Truly embarrasing reaction on his part.

Great communication from office and movers both, came when they said they would, truly handled everything with care, worked very efficiently and were friendly and courteous throughout the move. Really appreciated that they asked us if we wanted them to wear masks, even though it was 90 degrees, and let us know they were all fully vaccinated, which helped us feel more comfortable with them being in our home.

Mixed feelings. The crew was on time with two trucks. 5 guys all started talking over us at once asking different questions instead of letting us give a run down to one person, which was overwhelming. One guy kept commenting on personal items, commenting about how tired we looked while we were trying to move a large family with young children, and overall was far too chatty and rude when worked needed to be done.All of our items arrived safely. The price was fair. Will use a different company next time.

Handle with Care picked up and stored the contents of a bedroom from my house during a remodeling project. Recently they returned the goods. Everything came back in good order. Rodrigo and Ben were prompt, courteous, friendly, and professional. My house was chaotic because the construction was going on at the same time and the Handle with Care team had to work around a lot of activity but they were very relaxed and flexible and flowed with everything else going on. I appreciated their really great attitude.

I am very satisfied that I chose Handle With Care for my cross-country move. Right from my initial inquiry I was impressed because Ray, the owner, came by himself to assess our homes contents. He came within days to supply us with a moving estimate. (Other movers wanted to wait 7+ days to come over.) Ray’s pricing was very fair, and we booked. When my packing time arrived, I was super delighted and grateful when I learned I could stop by their office/warehouse to pick up gently used boxes for packing use for free (if available). Several times I stopped by to retrieve boxes and packing materials and each time, Heather, the office manager, was gracious and accommodating. We used HWC to move into our old house 7 years ago and decided to use them again because of great service. We moved out of our house in December and had HWC store all our belongings until our new house was ready this time. They wrapped and boxed items quickly and safely and kept everything clean in the house with carpet and floor covers. Fast forward to July, they showed up on time, made sure the floors were all covered and even took their shoes off when going on the new carpet, which was appreciated. They were fast and efficient and even put our bed and other various furniture back together. I would recommend them to anyone looking for moving service.

This is the best moving company we have ever used. The employees are hard working and efficient and are patient with the customer. Not a mark on our walls, floor, not a nick out of any molding. The company sent out the exact amount of movers that I needed for my upright piano to be transported. These movers arrived ahead of time and were kind, professional, and hard working. They used clean blankets, tape, and belts to secure the piano and bench for transport. They even wrapped it in plastic over the blanket! I felt very secure that they would take great care of my piano in the move! They worked extremely well as a team. I guess I should start by saying this was a tough decision. There are lots of options out there and price is pretty consistent in this space but service is what was most important to us. I am so happy that we chose Handle with Care. We had a large move, originally quoted 4 movers and 2 trucks. The morning of they called to say they were coming and thought it would be best to send another mover to help speed up the job. I was a little hesitant because this came with an increase in our hourly rate and I wasnt sure what one guy could do to help speed process that much. Fantastic Movers! I recently used Handle With Care Moving and Delivery (in Ann Arbor, MI) to handle my short distance, but highly stressful, move. From the first contact with them I was impressed with their attitude and great customer service. My move mostly involved fragile furniture of all sizes. It was critical that the furniture be moved safely and absolutely no damage to the furniture and either of the homes being moved out of and into. The team was so professional! Ray had come done an in person quote, and I could not stop thinking about how much more I trusted Ray than the other company that I originally scheduled with. Although we didnt have the opportunity to utilize Handle With Care Moving out of Ann Arbor, MI, the interaction I had with their service agent over the phone is enough for me to give them 5 stars. When I explained the issues I was having with the Handle with Care Movers out of Georgia, the service agent with the Ann Arbor company was quick to tell me that they were in litigation with the Georgia company and then recommended several other national movers she would recommend. Thanks to the Real Handle with Care Moving company, we have now had our items being transported by a great moving company.

Ray and his very professional team did a wonderful job and exceeded our expectations. They were extremely careful with our stuff and very efficient with our move. The crew was very kind and helpful and even helped us put together a bed frame which had been giving us difficulty. Moving in the winter is never fun, but these guys made it a smooth process. They are also the ONLY company I contacted who delivered our household goods directly from our old home to our new home.The crew of four who moved us out of our Michigan home was excellent! They were careful with all items, including a baby grand piano!Juan delivered our household to South Carolina where his local helper was less than stellar but adequate for some assistance. I just had 4 rather large steel cabinets to be moved from the basement to the garage. I got a quote on the phone and it was an hourly quote and it happened to be the best quote I got from the several companies I called. Since this was a very simple job and not worth spending a lot of money I went with this company. Two guy showed up that afternoon and at first I wasnt sure that they would be able to handle the cabinets. To my surprise, they got all four cabinets out of the basement and into the garage in 15 minutes. They prorated the cost to the 15 minutes and it turned out to be a GREAT deal. I plan to call this company when we make the final move to the new house. This was just a preliminary move to get stuff out of the house to be able to put this house on the market. I highly recommend this company.

I hired Handle With Care to move from a Townhouse to a second floor apartment and I can honestly say I could not have done it without them! They treated all of my belongings with respect and care. They wrapped all of my furniture to make sure nothing was damaged. They were courteous and went right to work as soon as they arrived. They even built and put together my bed! Ray and his entire team were amazing! Out pastry case needed to be moved from one space to another but wouldnt fit through the 1860s doors. The best movers: professional, friendly, polite, clean, delivered more than what they promised. We used them twice, one for an out of state move and the other within the state. Contracting with Handle With Care was painless, Charges were very reasonable, and our purchase was delivered exactly when they said it would be. They were polite and willing to move my furniture were ever I wanted it, however there was damage to some of my furniture that I was not made aware of until after they left and damage to the interior of the home that I was moving from.

Don’t move a treadmill yourself! Hire these guys. Their fee is a lot cheaper then paying medical bills! I had three guys move a heavy treadmill from my garage to my basement. They were on time, friendly, and in and out within 10 minutes. They had masks on and most importantly never touched a wall or my refrigerator (which was somewhat in the way and brand new). You would’ve thought what they were carrying was 50 lbs but it was 375 awkward lbs.

She said that her clients had raved about this moving company, locally operated, and I should look into them to handle my move. She was right.Handle With Care was unlike any moving company I have ever worked with in the past. Their management and oversight was clear, personal, and impressively sincere. Communicating with the company was easy. The truck was clean and well supplied with everything needed to protect my antiques, art, and fragile possessions. The two men who did the work were careful, efficient, sensitive to the words fragile or valuable, and easy to work with. They took the time to listen to my concerns and always responded appropriately. They treated my things as if they were moving their own things. It was a delight to work with these men who realized that moving is difficult physically and emotionally.My recommendation is with enthusiasm and without hesitation. Handle With Care was excellent to work with during our move. They packed and moved us with zero issues. Everyone was professional and courteous. Even the professional organizers who helped to unpack us commented on how good of a job HWC did with our packing. We had no damaged items. They even moved our commercial treadmill and elliptical machine without a problem! Highly recommend. :)

Excellent moving experience with Handle With Care Moving. The team they sent out (Alex, Andy, and Marco) were outstanding. They were very professional, super nice and polite, very fast and extremely gentle with all my belongings and wrapped them all in blankets and tape to ensure nothing got broken. The hourly price was way better than other movers quoted me, and the end price was like 1/2 what some other companies were charging. Not a thing got broken and the team can move anything, even my big heavy elliptical trainer. I highly recommend these folks and will use them again next move.

Ben and Hector did a great job moving all my heavy furniture. They put everything where I asked and asked before leaving if I needed help rearranging anything--and made sure to cover the floors! They were polite and friendly. Great team!

I just wanted to say thank you to the Handle With Care moving team that moved us into our new home. The 4 men worked tirelessly and remained polite and positive throughout the long day.  I thank them for making the move go smoothly and for taking such great care of our home items.  Nothing was broken or damaged.

My husband and I have moved 8 times and our experience with Handle with Care was by far the very best. Even before the move they were great...from the walk through and estimates, to communication, and their patience when we had to reschedule...5 times!!! On moving day Dennis and his crew were professional, friendly, and considerate...and not complaining when they had to move our 300 pound treadmill up from the basement then down to the basement. They wrapped each piece of furniture and handled it like it was their own. We moved into a new house without a driveway or sidewalk so the only way in was all mud...they covered our floors with plastic and when they left there wasnt a footprint anywhere. I hope I do not have to move again but if I do I will certainly hire them again. I very highly recommend them.

We just made a cross-country move with Handle With Care. It could not have gone better from our initial inter-action to the unpack at the end. Pricing very fair. Communication great. Easy Facetime estimate. Professional packers, loaders and driver. Particular shout-outs to Heather and Andy.

Tim and Brian were incredibly professional got everything moved out quick and unloaded even faster. Came prepared with masks. Only issue they had was with the ramp with their truck got stuck felt kinda bad but they didnt over charge me for that. Theres a reason this business is so highly rated

This is, by far, the best moving experience we have ever had over the past 30 years of moving homes and offices. In addition to being kind, patient and supportive during the stressful time of a move, Alex, Juan and Fabian were also particularly careful and thoughtful in the actual moving of all our items. They all took extra time to were also very flexible with us, taking items away that we had not told them about and even helping us with some interior decoration!! We very much appreciate their hard work, reasonable prices, and HIGHLY recommend them!

Handle With Care was recommended to me several years ago by another mover who felt my job was too difficult for them. They had to climb up scaffolding and pull a piece of furniture through the window. Handle with Care did it! I am a Realtor and have been recommending them ever since. They blanket and shrink wrap furniture, guard the floors with coverings, and dont charge any more than other movers. I highly recommend Dennis and Andy and their teams! They are hard-working, polite, friendly, and say yes to the most challenging jobs before them.

Handle with Care provided the best moving experience my husband and I have ever had. From the beginning to end, every staff person was considerate and efficient. All of our questions were answered throughout the process, and they informed us of the best options for donating those furniture items we no longer needed. We were so impressed, that we called back a second time two weeks later to pick up and donate additional items. We have recommended Handle with Care several times already, and will continue to do so.

If I could give this company a 10 star review, I would!!! Ray and his crew and patient and kind. Super friendly and easy to talk to. We’ve used this company twice, most recently to move a 500lb entertainment center after new carpet was installed. Long story short, this is not an easy project and they handled it with care and class. Don’t even think about contacting another moving company. These guys are first class!!! I’ve done many moves over the years. Handle with Care has been the best and exceeded our expectations.

I have worked with this moving crew basically for all of my moves through college and even after marriage. The mover and owner are all hardworking, down to earth, and just good people. Throughout every move, the crew has always been so helpful, professional, and very efficient! Everything is always handled with extreme care, I have never had any issues or damaged items. Even during my moves in college when I was not very prepared, they had extra boxes, equipment, (not to mention great attitudes and A LOT of patience) to always help make the process seamless. They will literally figure out a way to move ANYTHING no matter the shape or size. One time they were able to get my couch in through our balcony using a ladder/ropes/other equipment because it did not fit through the door--their dedication and support is simply outstanding and has never compared to any other moving companies I have gone through in the past! I HIGHLY recommend this co. to anyone that needs assistance with any type of move!
