Customer service seems more interested in his cell phone than in actually checking out customer purchases. Bottle return machine is chronically out of order. They seem to prefer it that way.Food selection is really lame, and even then, those shelves are typically only half stocked. Good luck finding something healthy to eat there.They often dont keep to their posted open hours. Theyre open when theyre open.

Had a 911 Father’s Day emergency. I live in MN and my dad, the patriarch of the family, resides in AA. Wanted to buy him a special bottle to celebrate the big Dads day! Called Beer Depot (being from AA I know the spot well) and I was fortunate to connect with Johan. Very helpful in selecting the approriayw 12 year bottle of McCallan and Johan delivered the package moments later. Truly amazing service. So grateful that Johan could help me ensure my dad got his present on time. Highly recommend you venture down to Beer Depot and have Johan help you out!!

I remember when the Beer Depot was a funky little hole in the wall that you could make purchases without getting out of your car; it had hardwood floors and model airplanes hanging from the ceiling.Today, I went there to get my deposit back from 2 Calder Dairy bottles, and I was told by a sullen employee that they didnt accept them.The Beer Depot has lost absolutely everything that made it unique. Its just another party store, and party stores are a dime a dozen. I wont be back.EVER.

Little dark in there which I find a little weird however, great selection in a convenient location.

They have an awesome beer selection and a lot of home brew equipment too. The liquor selection pretty great too, but this place is more about the beer. Parking lot is tight, but people are in and out pretty quick so its not usually a problem.

I went in with a weird request (I needed a type of branding for an office gift exchange) and owner was extremely helpful and patient, and friendly and funny to boot.

The cashier stole a hundred dollars from me. True story all I wanted was some jose and a carton of smokes. Hes saying hes a cop Intercepting drug money...bottom line go to main st or somewhere better

This place is so entertaining, love the employees there. However, I bought a cheap red wine bottle there and it was borderline vinegar :(

I have been going here since it was an actual drive through liquor store. Large selection of craft beers, and liquor. Interesting clientele.

Great location and a little parking lot a luxury in Ann Arbor. Not the best price or selection but what do you expect with that location. Compared to other places in Ann Arbor a decent price.

I dont know what these other people are whining about. Great place, for good beer selection. The staff is not there to comfort you, but they do their job

Nasty, foul, unclean and rude. I live down the block. Today I asked at man to stop urinating on the side of the Beer Depot (outdoor at noon). The other people drinking in front and on the side of the building just thought it was funny. I tried to speak to the man at the counter. He just stared at me and kept saying what do you want. The comments about harassment, intimidation and panhandling are all true. Please do not shop here.

I took a $15 lyft ride to come here. I arrived at 10:08 am and waited until 10:15 am. Nobody came. Yet they have a sign on their window saying that they open at 10 am on Sundays.

If it wasnt for the panhandlers, beggars and low life, there wouldnt be anyone in this place.

Hole in the wall dump

There is a group of lowlife men who wait outside this establishment at all hours and harass women. My girlfriend was followed into the store by some of the men and the store owners did nothing while they heckled and even touched her. I will never shop there again and neither will she. Unfortunately, women should be weary of visiting this store.
