Dr. Shin was awesome with my 4 yr old daughter today. We came to Tree Town from a different pediatric dentist, and let me tell you, this office is amazing. They made my daughter feel safe and secure and the dr took her time explaining her treatment recommendations and we were able to come up with a plan moving forward. Would highly recommend this office! From the front staff to the doctor, they are top notch.

Tree Town Dentistry is AWESOME! If you are looking for a practice that will put your child first this is the place for you. The doctors & staff went above & beyond the call of duty to ensure that my children overcame their fear of the dentist. Having two children with autism, I had no confidence that they could assist my children to enjoy going to the dentist! Thanks to the support of the Tree Town Dentistry team my children now go happily to the dentist with no anxiety whatsoever! I can say without hesitation that my childrens excellent dental health is a direct reflection on the Tree Town Dentistry.

Our kids are now teenagers, and have been visiting Tree Town since their teeth first arrived. They’ve had everything from basic cleanings to complicated procedures. The team at Tree Town is not only professional and talented, they are equally kind and caring. We couldn’t happier!

We had a great experience at Tree Town. Our dentist referred us here for work that couldnt be done in our dentists office. The office was clean, spacious and had a fun feeling. The staff was very friendly, helpful, accommodating and reassuring. My only suggestion addresses the COVID protocol of not allowing parents to enter the room with their children when work is being done. That made me and my daughter uneasy as I knew my daughter was nervous (new place, invasive procedure and we knew she would need anesthetic and laughing gas). I would suggest that Tree Town considers adding a video monitor of some sort so parents can see their children while work is being done. While I had absolutely no reason not to trust the staff, not all families may feel the same. That added feature would bring comfort to those who opted to use it. Otherwise, if it wasnt so far from where we live, our children would love to be patients at Tree Town.

They’ve got my daughter extremely comfortable so quickly she just enjoyed being there the whole process and also making this the main dentistry for her and my second child! Great attitudes from service to dentists love it. Good work guys! Keep being great!

Covid has really made dentistry very hard for our babies. Tree Town took such great care of my 4 year old. She had to have major work done and sedation or anesthesia being unavailable, made this a hard decision for me, as her mom. I could not have gone any better with their support and transparency. They were real with me the whole process and she came out of it as unscathed as possible.

Brought my 17 month old here this morning for his first teeth cleaning, and I was so impressed by the warmth of the staff. Our dental hygienist was Ms. Kim, and I really appreciated the way she showed my son all of the tools she was going to use, letting him touch them and get familiar with them before she cleaned his teeth. They weren’t off-put by his screams and nervousness, and continued to offer him toys and entertainment to help calm his nerves, putting my mama heart at ease. Highly recommend!

The office was very clean and taking patient safety very seriously without being over burdening. All of the staff was amazingly friendly. Everyone made sure my child was ok and understood what was happening, he was very comfortable throughout the whole appointment.

It was a very satisfied total dental service experience! The best dental carefor my children, yet created very warm and friendly environment for a childso that I did not have to stick with my children. Thanks for Dr.Shin and Kimfor providing a very thoughtful advice which was a quite big perk.

Consider a second opinion. We went for a consult at Tree Town for my four year olds decayed molars. We were told she would need at least 5 silver caps (crowns) plus 1 root canal. So glad we got a second opinion from another pediatric dentist in town. All of the decayed teeth were able to be filled with regular fillings- no crowns, no root canal. Tree Town also gave us the option of either conscious sedation (while being restrained) or general anesthesia. The other practice was able to complete the work without any sedation or even gas and my daughter did great. I also did not like how they would not allow me to go back to the treatment room with my child- the other practice allowed me to hold her hand during the procedures and this provided a lot of comfort.

They said my toddler had to pull out 4 teeth and crown two teeth. They crowned one and my son was so traumatized I couldnt take him back for the second.while they were explaining what needed to be done they were super condescending. I went to a different doctor who said I could just pull the baby tooth and put a spacer and that the other teeth did not need to be pulled. Tree town told me that pulling the tooth that “needed” a crown wasn’t an option, and the crown was much more expensive. They also wouldn’t let me be in the same room with my 3 year old while he was being gassed. Not a fan of this place.

I absolutely LOVE this office and amazing staff. Their All very polite, caring and warm♥️ I absolutely trust their judgement with my child’s ortho work. I recommend any and all families to treat with Tree Town. My child needed extra work (Surgery) at the age of 3 and two years later were very satisfied with the work care and urgency . My son loves to visit the dentist due to their kindness and the support dog they have for the children. We live 40 minutes away and it’s always worth the trip.

The care that Dr. Kim has given our children over the years has been fantastic. She cares for all of our children, and recently had to perform some pretty serious work on two of my sons. She worked with us from start to finish to ensure that we all knew what was going to happen and ensured that our boys felt really good about the process too. She also worked with us financially, since the entire bill was out of pocket and we are on a really tight budget presently. I can not recommend Dr. Kim enough after years of taking all five (soon to be six) kids to the practice.

I have never left a bad review for anyone before. Please do not take your child there. I had read a few reviews that said the dentist jumps to a silver cap right away without even considering a white filling first and that’s what happened with my two year old. Also for some reason when they do that silver cap they refuse to let you in the back with your child and they will strap them in car seat while they do the Procedure. They say it’s due to Covid, but They would let you in the back with your child for any other service but not the silver cap. As if COVID only exists when your child needs a silver cap. It makes me wonder why.When I told the dentist I wasn’t comfortable with leaving my child alone with them she said you can go ahead and find other dentists.

Tree Town is the best! From the second you arrive in the lobby the staff is warm and inviting. The level of attention, detail, care and compassion is astounding. They put the kids at ease. They are amazing. I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else.

Best pediatric dentist office - hands down 🙌🏼 It’s a 40 minute drive for us, but we started going there after we had issues at Tooth Town in South Lyon (my daughter needed a fair amount of work done at a young age due to how her baby teeth came in). One of her first appointments was getting multiple teeth capped at once. Instead of being taken to an OR and under anesthesia like the other office wanted to do, their office did all her work IN OFFICE, no anesthesia, and I was allowed to be present. They have always given me options, never pressure or push anything, and answer any questions I have. As much work as my one child has had done and she still doesn’t mind going to the dentist! They even went out of their way to do a minor filling right after her cleaning at our last appointment because they know I drive a little ways. Staff is always super friendly as well! If you’re needing a fantastic pediatric dentist, this is the place to go!!

Staff was friendly. Everything was nice and clean. My only suggestion would be if new visitor forms could be available online to complete. It was rather difficult trying to complete new forms as well as make sure my one and a half year old didnt get into everything and everyone.

I had a little trepidation about my toddler sons very first dental visit, but it was absolutely wonderful! The office is bright and clean and the staff are all so welcoming. The hygienist we saw was friendly and knowledgeable, connected easily with my son, and made us both feel comfortable. My son walked out the door with sparkly clean teeth, a new toothbrush, a bouncy ball, and a very happy Mommy. Im so glad we went to Tree Town!

Dr.Shin did an excellent job on my 6 yr old son. He was very scared & nervous but for the 1st time he let the dentist do what they had to do. He got 8 crowns& 4 sealents done today in 1hr& 1/2hrs. I was very surprised. Hes fought other dentist & wouldnt let anyone get the work done before. This place heard my concerns, made sure he was comfortable& not scared. Great job! Will switch my kids for good now. I only wish I found them sooner. The whole staff is pleasant!

Tree Town is wonderful! We love the staff and the experience is always a pleasure. Today we met their office pet Teddy, she’s a lovely companion 🙂 We feel certain our children will go to Tree Town until they outgrow it.

My 7 yr old son took a rock to his face on a Saturday afternoon, breaking 3 adult front teeth. We were leaving for an international trip 5 days later. I called Treetown Monday morning and within 20 minutes we were sitting in their office. They fixed the top tooth and one on the bottom and then sent us right over to Dr. Meade for a root canal analysis on the 3rd tooth that was broken off almost to the gums. Because the tooth was still not matured, they chose not to risk further trauma by capping it right away. Thankfully the tooth has proven to still be alive and is continuing to plant its roots for a later time permanent tooth placement. The bottom tooth repair was only temporary to hold off infection throughout our trip and the waiting period while the root on the other tooth was still growing down but my son managed to bite it off and unbelievably Treetown got us back in immediately! She capped it and sent us on our way. Once again, we thought it came off and Treetown literally brought us in and 30 minutes later we were already headed home. Thankfully the cap didnt come off, my son just thought it had. Dr. Kim was so incredibly patient with my son and not at all annoyed that we were there 3 times within a 3 day span for emergency dental care. She explained what was going on with his tooth, what he should anticipate from Dr. Meade regarding his upcoming root canal and took the time to assure him he had nothing to worry about. She personally walked him out and let him pick out a small patient toy for himself AND one for his brother at home. The repair to his top tooth looks excellent! As soon as his bottom tooth is finished planting its roots and we have the root canal, we will most definitely be using Treetown for the bottom fake teeth. Unfortunately, due to covid restrictions, I was not able to stay with him in the back but the dentist walked me back there to show me that he was comfortable and my son reassured me that he was in good hands and then I took my seat in the lobby. Normally this arrangement would not be ideal but I appreciate Dr. Kim reassuring me that he was in good hands and the appointment was so quick that it was really no biggie. FYI, younger patients can be accompanied by a parent. Im attaching photos of before and after of the tip tooth repair so you can see for yourself the quality work.

Tree town is amazing! My son has severe autism and I would never take him anywhere else. The staff and the dentist are wonderful at tree town. They get us in and out so quickly, which really makes it less traumatizing for my son. How only do they do good work, but they do it efficiently, and with the upmost care and comfort for the patient. They go above and beyond to make sure those with special needs have the best experience possible. I am beyond thankful Tree Town, and am so thankful that I found them. We have been going for a few years now and it is so far above and beyond and other dentist Ive tried with my son.

Our experience here was better than I could have possibly hoped. Everyone there was so welcoming, friendly, and professional. What could have been a scary first time dental experience for our kids was instead an absolute blast. They immediately felt comfortable and safe thanks to the expertise and caring of all the team at Tree Town Pediatric Dentistry.

They were seriously amazing with my 4 year old daughter! Hygienist Kim was so patient, kind and fun and she explained everything thoroughly to me before every step and made sure my daughter knew what was going on, too. The office is very clean and let you know about any costs up front, which is so nice. I am 100% satisfied!

I wish I could give zero stars and now I am upset I let them put 8 crowns on my 5 year old before getting a second opinion. Refused treatment on my daughter after stating that her primary care believed she needed to be treated by student dentists at the university of michigan because she was too complex for them. Went to the PCP who said he never told the dentist that she just plain refused to treat her. They recommended for her pain that she alternate tylenol and motrin for 2 months until u of m dental could see her or take her to the emergency room. Like what is the emergency room going to do? There are no dentists on staff there. Stay far away they are clearly only in it to overbill the insurance.

I would recommend this place 1000%. They were sooooo patient, nice and gentle. I thought my daughter would freak out but they were so calm and showed her every little thing they were going to do and i think that made her comfortable and her baby doll got a check up too! I am so glad she came here. Thank you Kim and staff!!!! Keep up the great work!

The office is newly redone - looks very nice. This is our second visit and my child is comfortable at her practice. Dr. Kim is able to speak English and Korean with my child which was one of the reasons I picked this office. Dr. Kim is very concerned about making everyone comfortable with treatment and gives lots of options. They are working hard to keep everyone safe during this covid period. Everything is cleaned well and patients are kept apart. The visit was quick and efficient. Thanks Dr Kim and staff.

The check in procedure made me feel safe and comfortable, I think they did a wonderful job ensuring patients and staff stay healthy during COVID.The appointment was seamless and we had a less than 5 min wait time and Dr. Shin took time to answer all my questions and concerns. I explained everything to my 22 month old as Dr Shin swiftly moved through the cleaning. There was no stress or tears and my daughter left smiling and excited for her new toothbrush and the toy ball they gave her!Thanks Tree Town for making going to the dentist during a pandemic an absolute breeze!

This dentist office is amazing! The staff is so nice and are even great about covid precautions. They take excellent care of my teeth and as a result I always have great checkups on my teeth. I would definitely recommend them. One more thing: they even have prizes for good checkups and toys for kids to play with while waiting in the chair for the cleaning and dentist. The berry flavored toothpaste is delicious - especially great for those who do not like mint! I Definitely recommend putting them in charge of your teeth!
