The woman who runs the store is very nice and professional. We loved her work. But we went in today to see if we could add a minor detail and there was another woman who was extremely rude and unprofessional. She claimed that she wouldn’t touch the previous seamstress’ work (even though we weren’t asking her to), gave us a hard time about our small request, and at the end of the conversation said, “I won’t do it. Goodbye,” and walked away from us. It’s important to note that we weren’t rude to this woman at all and we were just trying to work with her.

Friendly, expert service. Great work, very reasonable prices. No reason to go anywhere else.

I sought to replace a zipper in a jacket. The first person looked snd said they did not have that length available. I asked if they could install the zipper if I bought the proper length. Answer: yes. I returned with the proper zipper. A different person told me there was nothing wrong with the zipper on the coat. I said that more than half the time it gets stuck. She said, “No, it doesn’t.” Then she turned and walked away.I then went to another seamstress. She looked at the coat snd what installing a new zipper would entail, explained it all, and said the world would be well over a hundred dollars. I understood, appreciated her honesty and her explanation, and left feeling I had been treated politely and honestly. I will never go back to the first seemstress.

In my family we have a tradition of making baptism gowns from our wedding dresses and because of COVID I was not able to have my aunt create one because she lives in Canada. Elegant Tailoring did an amazing job turning my wedding dress into my daughters beautiful baptism gown. Im so happy and satisfied with the work. Everything fit perfectly and I couldnt imagine a more prefect gown for my baby. Thank you so so much!!

Elegant Tailoring made my decorating vision a reality! After doing a great job on some clothing repairs, I asked if theyd be willing to make some custom pillows for my sofa. The work was quick, the results were amazing, and it was done at a wonderful price. I couldnt be happier and wont hesitate to bring future tailoring and/or decorating projects here. I had to get my wedding dress altered in a short time frame and they did an amazing fast job. Also, they have very reasonable pricing!

Ive taken tailoring to this business for years. Like all tailoring services, I try it on and we have a conversation regarding my goals in regard to look and fit then the job is completed with the pre-pinning in place. The work has always been timely and correct.Actually, there was one time where the service I was requesting was going to create an odd silhouette and the staff kindly pointed this out. It would have been easy for them to take my money, but they spoke up and did the right thing and for that I am grateful. Thank you!

Came into this shop to get my coat shortened in the sleeves, came back to pick it up, still to long. No big deal, come back and it feels a little short. I take it and decide to wear it for a few hours the next day but decide to go back in and ask if it seems just a little short because it felt uncomfortable and a little short, I was met with a “No, it is not to short. First you complain it was too long and we redo it, now you complain it’s to short, nothing will be done.” When I left it there the second time It was still to long and I wasn’t angry nor was I complaining.I was not complaining and that lady is incredibly rude and I will not come back. This is me complaining, I just wanted my clothes to fit comfortably on me, that’s all. Sorry for coming back a third time.

They get two stars for at least being able to keep a straight line, but I asked for floor length she said they normally do 1/4 off the floor and I clearly stated I wanted it to actually touch, so she made one pin adjustment for longer and said ok not a problem. Come to pick up today and sure enough its at least 1/4 from the floor and definitely not touching, and not pressed either... very annoying!

I brought these ladies my bridesmaids dress that was too small for me. They shortened it and took it out, no problem. I was so happy with the final product. They did an excellent job!! Definitely recommend!

Terrible. Took in my pants to be altered. Tried them on and they felt no different than when I brought them in. The actual work was terrible and even when I got to the car From picking them up, I could see the “alteration” was done with glue which was already not sticking. The other lady DID offer to let them out further but I elected to have her fix her partner’s shoddy repair and will take them elsewhere

I have used elegant tailoring numerous times and always with 100% satisfaction. Wonderful people to deal with and absolutely lovely work. Excellent.!!!!!

They are very competent with repairs and all types of alterations. Good hard-working women and their prices are very fair.

Clearly a shop that provides professional tailoring services, but not for men’s clothing; suit jackets specifically. I have little doubt that the owner/operator and staff are excellent practioners of their craft when it comes to women’s dresses and gowns. However, my experience with a men’s suit jacket showed how inexperienced they were at tailoring such garments. Even the measurements were wrong and hurried. But most importantly, when I clearly showed how unhappy I was with their work, they disagreed (“no, it’s fine!”) and just wanted the other half of the bill (right, it’s pay 50% now and then settle up at pick up). Mixed levels of customer satisfaction with the 2 visits, btw.They’re nice folks overall, and it looks like they have a lot of work, so I wish they would have just told me they don’t do suits. Oh well, I’ll take it somewhere else. Just clothes, but still...

Ive worked in the same plaza for 5 years, and after many mixed opinions from clients, I decided to give them a try. I brought my partners coat (pockets detaching), my own long coat (zipper issue), and a pair of pants to be wide hemmed.I came to pick up my items, and discovered that the pocket on my partners coat hadnt been fixed as asked. No big, the younger of the two seamstresses informed me the other pocket had also been damaged and fixed the other one no charge right there. She and I actually had a great time, and even had a good laugh over her phones ringtone while I waited. I loved my pants, and the zipper on my coat seemed to be fine.Next day, I go to wear my coat and the zipper pops again. I take the coat back and get the older seamstress this time, and explain with my receipt the sliber they replaced I dont think is the problem, I think the whole zipper may need replacing. She starts yelling at me, telling me Im the problem. She directly tells me I dont know how to work a zipper, and implies my weight may be the issue. Im not a large woman, in anyway. As shes yelling, shes pulling the zipper apart and putting it back together, making it work again. Needless to say, I put the coat on later and took a step...the zipper popped again. I WILL NOT be going back.

I needed a pair of trousers hemmed in a hurry. There was no one else waiting in the shop at the time and she took care of me with speed and courtesy. The fee was also very reasonable. I will be going back.

Had my bridesmaid dress altered. Got it back a week later and it was too small, took it back for readjustments and they were really nit picky. Well theres no way we made this big of a mistake. Have you gained weight? Rude to say, and the opposite is true. Then they told me theyll do what they can. Acted like I was wasting their time, not apologetic in the least for messing up my dress.

Got a suit tailored okay. But when I wanted some gloves fixed a couple days before I went out of town on a trip, all I got was a bunch of rude comments about how busy they are and I cant expect them to blah blah blah. Now I take my business to shops that work with their customers needs.

Terrible. I didnt even end up taking my dress there because they were so horribly rude on the phone. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt that maybe they are just having a bad day, but there was absolutly no reason to be that rude to a potential customer. I cant imagine giving my business and money to someone that is so disrespectful.

They did a beautiful job for me shortening the sleeves on a suit and also hemming several pairs of pants. Excellent work, reasonably priced.

I went there just to have 3 pairs of pants hemmed for work. I went there on October 22nd and about 2 weeks later, the hemming came undone on all 3 pairs of pants. Worst hemming I ever got.

Ive brought pants here several times to have them hemmed. They have always been finished on time and have never had any issues with the work.

I brought a Navy pea coat in to have it taken in. When I picked it up and tried it on, the shoulders had not been touched. The woman told me it would cost me another $45, after just spending $45, to get the shoulders fixed. DO NOT BRING YOUR TAILORING TO THIS BUSINESS. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.
