I used self service wash and first thing I noticed the pressure was very low compared ot was I used in different places but I was most disappointed when there were no clothes to dry up the cars. Now my car looks more dirtier then early.

Great customer service, soft wash usually comes out pretty clean. I wish they would have a towel dry attendant at the end of the line. I usually have to pull around and towel off the car to avoid soap spots but all in all I would definitely recommend this wash to friends.

Hand wash and/or vacuum your truck and truck bed here rather than an automated wash. Water was hot, not overly soapy, sprayer was strong and the line was short on a weekend. Takes coins or card.

The hand held sprayer has no power in the spray like it use to. Hard to get anything off, and I had it on the right choice.

My car has lowered suspension, so minimum ground clearance is only 4 inches, but they clean my car okay!Actually, most of time they done great job, but just sometimes, like only 20%, they don’t. When they are busy, they don’t clean my car perfectly especially wheels.

Easy to pay with card. Easy in /out. Could have cleaned my tailgate on my F150 better. Other than that was a good experience.

Might be OK to bring an old junker through here but if you have a nicer bigger vehicle stay away. Dented and scratched my Jeep they must not maintain their brushes and I doubt they care lol. I would go to zippys never have had damage occur there.

Clean place to wash your vehicle. Affordable and now u can use your credit or debit card to pay, so convenient.

Five stars because this is one of the few places I found that still has the self-service wand option rather than only an automated drive-thru. Its really helpful to be able to throw your car mats on the clips to get all of the salt off from winter!

They guys in the tunnel work extremely hard, dont forget to tip them! Just $1.00 goes a long way.

Went here once and never will again, maybe because they were busy or something but I got the $12 wash and tipped $5 and my car was still dirty upon leaving. They didn’t even touch my tires, which were still covered in dirt, and I specifically got the “better” wash because it said it included a tire cleaning.

Warning do not use your card here. I used my card to self wash my vehicle. It holds $10 from your account when it cost $2 to wash your car in quarters. once the payment is processed it charges you a total of $3 when it only cost 2$ to use the self-wash. There is no warning at the card swipe that is going to cost an extra dollar to use your card. This is false advertisement.

Very tidy hands-free car wash. The gentleman tendering of money was very cordial and even complemented on the color of my vehicle. I would have liked the back window dried off (bring my own micro towel next time). I will go back again!

Best carwash around for the money! The guy that normally takes the money is nice too which is a plus. There are multiple different price options so thats another plus. Theres normally a long line because this is a fan-favorite for those that want a clean car! Yes, they also have self-serve stalls as well.

Decent. Dont expect the air dryers to get your car completely free of water. For $14. tires and the RainX are borderline. Theyd be better off with a side area to have a 60 second wipe down in places air dryer cant reach. Sonic chain in the Chicago area does this for same price.

The last two times I’ve been through I have paid for the absolute top-of-the-line wash only to receive the basic. I thought it was an error the first time but now I think the guys up front are collecting the full boat and then pushing the wrong button so they can keep the difference.

Always have a good experience there, pretty good for an automatic car was. I like that they use a brush by a person on the windshield and bumpers. Also, removing my antenna.

Have used this car wash many times but my vehicle always comes out dirty still. i’ve tried all their different levels they offer and i have the same experienceevery time. i keep going back because of the convenience of the location.

Best drive-through car wash, hands down. My truck was covered in bug guts after a long drive to a campground, and these folks gave the grill a proper scrub before it went through the automated car wash. Came out spotless. So rare these days. Will be returning. Great work, Lighthouse staff, and keep it up!

I go here for my car washes because they always do a pretty good job, and its cheap. The line moves fast on weekends. I always pay for the $10 car wash where they spray some random stuff on my car and I like to think that its doing something. However, the cheapest car wash is around $6 and that seems to work for a lot of people.

Better options in Ann Arbor. Would be nice if once in awhile the guys waving you in paid attention to how your wheels came into the track. Have scratched rims twice thanks to their lack of really caring.

Use both manual and auto. The former is always clean and is equipped well with good time value. The auto lane does pretty good but the top of back bumper and vertical rear panel or tailgate often is very dirty. Personnel have all been great to deal with for the ten years I’ve gone here.

This review is for the self wash. $2 in quarters gets you hardly any time with the hose. If you want to bring your own bucket and sponge, and wash your car in sections, it will be almost impossible unless you want to spend over $20. I had to rush through the wash because you have to put in more money every time you want to rinse your car. The high pressure rinse was not strong enough to wash away grass clippings that were stuck to the side of my car. Very difficult to get a thorough wash here. The covered stalls are lit, but not well. When I drove out into the sunlight, my car was still dirty, although it looked clean inside of the washing stall. I ended up spending $13 and a full hour on a self wash and my car still isnt clean. The spotless rinse seems ok, though.

Fantastic Job! Especially weekend workers. They treat each individual truck|car with the attention and care it may need. Too bad some customers may be unaware that workers accept tips. Management could do nice to post a sign as we drive up accept tips.Id tip sooner than I did.

A bit older self wash but effective enough to get the job done. They offer a coin vacuum right before you enter self wash making it very convenient to get your car detailed.

This is a well-established car wash thats great for auto-washing or DIY.They have 5 bays in back of the property where you can spray off your car yourself. Its covered and costs about 2 bucks to start. They maintain their equipment pretty well so everything works great. In the bays they also have brushes and clamps to hold your floor mats.If you want to do the auto wash, this one is a little better than the other auto washes in the area. Some of the employees have been there for years and they do a great job.Hint: if you slip them a tip when you drive into the auto wash, they will usually spray your car off a little better.

Had gone here with good results for years. Went today and their wash absolutely destroyed a paint job on a brand new vehicle. Insurance claims and lots of cost to come. Can no longer trust this car wash.

Was nearby for my daughters hockey game. Wish they were closer because this would be my goto. Was just looking to get the salt off, however its the cleanest,shiniest basic wash Ive gotten in a long time.

This place is awesome! So much better than zippy auto wash! A $6.00 wash here is better than a $12.00 wash at zippy! Save money go to lighthouse.

We noticed a piece of trim had fallen off my sons 1997 Buick. I thought maybe it had come loose a few days earlier when we went to the car wash. My son thought it was futile, but I stopped by the Lighthouse car wash and guess what? They had my piece of trim!!! We are very happy that they saved it!!! Thank you Lighthouse staff, youre the best! Always a nice wash too!!

Im often here using the self vac and wash. Decent car wash but they get hella busy on nice days and I think that my car got scraped going through their drive through.

My first time, and I cant compare it to other car washes yet. But Im happy to have a clean car, relatively free of road salt. Spent $3 to run the self-wash. Directions arent super clear, but if you take a minute to read over your options it isnt too hard.

Grateful that even on busy days they spend the time to provide the same level of great service you can always expect!!

Their prices have hone up significantly from what I remember. I guess thats what onegets for living in university town where they own most of the land.

They have self-service as well as full-service car washes. There are vacuums which cost 4 quarters for a round. You can get change from one of their change machines, which accepts 1 and 5 dollar bills.

Dirty old car wash with a matching manager. Brought my van thru and heard loud crack over and over as brush spun on passenger side. Got out after to inspect and found 4 scratches in clear coat. 2 with very delicate clear coat string still attached. I pull around to explain and manager says there is no way their car wash did that! Stood there denying with no solution or offer of good will. If you have a nice car I would never bring it to this dump.

This place isnt anything special... but they are fast and efficient. This is the only car wash I got to in Ann Arbor. They recently raised the price of the self-serve vacuum to $1.00

Ive been to Lighthouse probably 50 times in the past year or two since I began attending UMich. And up until this winter I never had any issues. My Lincoln MKZ got scratched up here and I believe I know why. One of the vehicles ahead of me had a ton of salt and dirt on it. And the staff didnt quite spray it all off prior to it going into the main wash and i think it may have gotten into the brushes and then scraped on my car.Just a hunch though
