I was extremely disappointed with the customer service by the dispatcher and the manager. Ive used this service for about a decade but doubt I will be back. My flight into DTW was late by 3.5 hours and the cab driver tracked it and was ready for me at 11:00pm, along with a fellow passenger. Imagine my surprise when we were 1/2 to Ann Arbor and the driver was instructed by the dispatcher to turn around and go pick up another passenger. I called the dispatcher to voice my frustration and was basically told that I should be grateful that they handle things this way (you should have expected this - thats what shared rides are all about, how would YOU feel if you were the one that was left at the airport and waiting for 35 minutes) and that we were only 5 minutes from the airport (not true! I got home about 35 minutes later than I would have). When I asked why they didnt just send another cab, I was told we dont have any other cabs. The driver was frustrated too b/c he had two angry customers and had to pay another airport pickup fee ($10) out of his own pocket b/c the dispatcher screwed up and didnt inform him of this other passenger. To make matters worse, I left 2 messages with the manager who still after 4 days has not returned my calls. Its a shame because I used to always get good service.
