Rt 5 Dulce and Patricia did a much needed deep cleaning of my main living areas of my townhouse. They were on time and did a thorough job. I had questions about what was cleaned during my recent cleaning. The lady I spoke to laughed at me multiple times, told me my house is not clean and that I have too many things. I have a 15 month old with an open concept style home, obviously there will be toys out. I am a full time teacher, own a business and have a toddler that is the reason we were seeking extra help not to be belittled and laughed at.

The reason that I lowered the star rating (from a 5) was because the first time we used your service the work was quick, well priced, efficient, and yall did a fantastic job!This time around, unfortunately, it seemed like it took twice the amount of time to do the same amount of work as the last cleaning. Actually, I think yall might have done more the first time around because we paid for deep cleaning certain areas. I also lowered the rating because invoices are super handy! I couldnt find a detailed invoice to compare the two cleanings from the first and second time around.There was a $233.35 difference between the first and second cleaning (even with the discount).Also the discount was not applied when our card was charged. However yall did return the the amount after we mentioned it! Thank you very much for that!This may just reflect a price increase that we werent factoring in! If so please let me know and Ill gladly adjust the rating.I was very happy that yall prioritized getting back in so quickly! There was also miscommunication that it was okay to go over 3hrs I just wanted you to let me know first (yall actually did this the first time you cleaned as well).I added another star because yall did prioritize getting back out there. It is so nice to come home and have the house disinfected and clean. All I have to do is de-clutter which is more than enough effort for 2 kids and 2 dogs! I hired Molly Maids in June due to getting a $100 gift card from my daughters on Mothers Day which would have been my late sons 30th birthday, so they wanted to do something special. I called them and they went through a long discussion about my house, I explained I was single, no pets, and only 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom were being used. Also 1 bedroom had no furniture in it but a daybed. My total town home with finished basement is 2400 square feet. I have had a maid regularly up until the end of April for $80 a cleaning so the house had been being kept up. I gave them the gift card number along with my credit card number. They informed me it could take up to 4 hours, which I knew was impossible for 1 person let alone 2 to take that long, but obviously that is what they tell everyone. They told me they would call me that day to tell me how long it took and if I wanted to pay cash or use my card. I never got a call, got home and looked the house over, it was done just as my old maid had done nothing more. Then I realized they never even touched my full 900 square foot basement with bath. Since I never heard from them I assumed that the $100 gift card covered since they missed 1/3 of my house. The next day I had a $383 charge on my card. I called them immediately and they said they forgot to remove the gift card, I asked how long they were cleaning and they said 2 people 4 hours for a 1511 square foot place. I was totally shocked and said there was no way. I talked with the owner who literally gave me the same speech about a deep clean? They didnt clean anymore than my old maid did for $80, I didnt have them clean the stove, fridge, and they didnt even touch my half bath on my main level either. I asked them about all the decorations above my cabinets, and they said that it is against their insurance to go that high? Needless to say this company is running a big scam, they wouldnt even send me an itemized receipt for my credit card company. I asked if they would at least come look at my home so they could see that there was no way 2 women were cleaning for 4 hours, but they refused. I have now turned them in to the BBB and I am also working with an attorney. The funny part is they were at my house a year ago to give me a quote to clean monthly and they told me $120, and there was no need for a deep clean as it was well kept. Please do not give this company your credit card and get something in writing.

I have used the Molly Maid cleaning service for over 10 years. I love the fact that my house smells so good and looks like someone has really put a special effort into cleaning my home.I know the women that clean my home because their has been continuity in the staff for many years. This provides me with a comfort level knowing that I can trust the women who are cleaning my house and I know that they always do a good job!

This is a disgrace of a company. Attempting to call and reason with them about anything will result in the owners son mansplaining the same thing over and over again as though you are a dolt who clearly cannot understand what he is saying. The entire time he is explaining it is repeating the same thing over and over again without addressing the real question which is how did it possibly cost this much when there is no way it took that long to clean such a small area that had been well kept up. After having to listen to this for an extended period and feeling frustrated that I was getting the run around and being treated as though I was an absolute moron, his MOTHER calls to say that I cannot talk to her son that way and that I was yelling at him on the phone. The closest I got to yelling was when I asked him to stop and listen because he would not stop saying maam I have already explained that every time I attempted to ask a question. Literally, interrupting me every single time prior to me even getting a full sentence out and then using my silence post interruption to repeat the same circular logic without actually thinking about what was being said or the problem at hand. This has been the rudest company I have ever worked with and I think they are a disgrace to the practices of common human courtesy and then to turn around and blame the customer? Thats a great practice for a business. I would caution anyone using them to think twice, there are SEVERAL cleaning companies in the area with far better customer service. Dont get burned by this one.

I would not get my house cleaned again by this company even if it was for free. I was told I would get $30 dollars off my first cleaning by the owner Tammy in Ankeny, Ia and yet they deducted the full amount out of my bank account. I have tried to contact the owner 4 times. I paid $225 dollars for one floor of my town home to get cleaned (3 hours with two girls), and yet my kitchen countertops were crumby, my plants were dusty, sinks were not scoured and overall a fair job was done. This was $75 dollars an hour for a deep clean. I would hate to see what their maintenance sessions resulted with. This particular Molly Maids is under poor management. I wish this would have been a successful encounter with the company as I would have been a lifetime member! Truly disappointed in the owner as she lied to my face and will not fix the problem. I would suggest finding a different company or not using the ANKENY franchise!
