I been with Tradition almost a year now. I’m writing a review because I recently referred someone to work here and they based working or not with Tradition on reviews they read. First I have no knowledge on current or past drivers but I can give you my own personal experience. I have a class A with tankers and hazmat. Before Tradition I worked in the oilfields in Southern NM and hauled crude oil. I thought I had a great paying job but I was wrong. I been driving commercial vehicles well over 10 years. I’ve had driving positions as well as driver manager rolls. I’m fortunate to know both sides and able be understanding between the two. Tradition by far has been one of the best companies I have worked for. I will prove to anyone the money that can be made. I continuously have deposits into my bank of 10,000 to 12,000 a month and this year so far will have grossed almost 200,000 by the end of this month. For those who say they didn’t make any money or run away. I don’t know them but I can only guess they ether lacked what it took to be a successful lease operator or just violated company policy to many times. I for one am very happy Tradition takes safety so serious and they hold every driver to that standard. As far as the staff I personally think everyone I came into contact with has been great. But no job is 100% perfect and no one will be completely satisfied. This is a hard job being away from family and it takes dedication and commitment. Driver managers also have a hard roll because not all drivers are polite and respectful to them. I can only say if you put in the work, communicate with a open mind and be flexible you can make the money. It takes time to build a professional relationship with your driver manager and will take time for them to understand your needs as well as make sure the freight is moving. So before you take a few bad drivers reviews as it’s true I say call recruiting they can get you in touch with current drivers who are successful. There are many and we are more than happy to share what it takes to be successful.

Decent company to work for. Been here for a month and struggled in the beginning but things are panning out alright. I’m a rate this as a 50/50 you either start off with a good start or you might go under.I do love my truck and amazed that I actually posted the same truck and color and that’s what was available.

STAY AWAY!!! I did not listen to the other reviews and tried here. I wish I would’ve listened. You can’t make any money here as a lease purchase driver. They want you to haul under bid dedicated freight. If they give you a brokered load it will be under bid as well. They are not transparent and refuse to show you the original rate before your 80%. Which is illegal by the way, if you are paid by percentage. My load planner on team 3 basically told me he isn’t worried about me and my money. He is only worried about traditions money. They told us orientation would pay $100 a day. NOPE! It’s $100 flat for the entire time you are there. Do what you will with this review. I know I will never recommend this place to anyone. EVER!

Very organized usually. The pay is great if u like to run the miles for 2-3 weeks out. Everyone I come across at the terminal is very friendly best trucking company I have been with yet. I would encourage several drivers who aren’t happy with there company now to come join Tradition. They also know you by name not employee code or truck number.

I strongly urge all Drivers not to go here it seems all good until you get behind the wheel of there truck an your name signed on that line. Do not do Lease Purchase you will never make no money at all matter you of fact you will end up owning so basically you would be working for free. Pls do your research before going here he’ll Mr.Krab pays more then them. But seriously do your research because if I had done mine I wouldn’t be able to share is experience with you guys. This place is a complete rip-off I promise don’t believe go work for them see how long you stay there.

I enquired about the lease to own program, Bailey Terrotta talked it up really well. I looked at other drivers experiences on here and watched the videos but felt I had to find out for myself. Well I did find out. The left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing or promising.Tradition Transportation has super nice tractors but their own trailers are on the opposite side of the spectrum.Bailey told me they had and I quote we have work coming out our ears.Average pay per mile $2.15. This is not true. Between the equipment in great need of repair and all of the bobtail and deadhead miles there is no money there. As I did, do what you think you need to do. My best advice is to stay away. I think the company drivers are doing alright but a lease to own driver will not fair so well. Communication is next to zero and pass the buck is on a high speed rail. Personalities are the best part of the whole operation. Again stay away unless you want to be a company driver.

I received their advertisement and called to their recruiter, Bailey. She explained everything, except for she did not know how and most importantly when the load information is delivered to me. She said I am the first driver who asked her this question in her entire six years experience. Even after I confirmed that I am aiming for the lease purchase, her answer was that she does not know the operations, etc. This was enough of an alarm for me right there. In addition, the cell data plan for the DOT communication device under their DOT number should be on me. At this point, the question about their Pit 389 and KW900 equipment and its perks and transmission was kind of redundant, although I prefer automatic. See the image snapshot in this review of their lease terms, you must be an idiot if you cant do the math per mile and detect slavery and rip off.

Stay away from this company! They care nothing about you or your family and if you actually make money, it won’t be a result of these sharks and thieves helping you. There are MUCH better companies out there. The only thing that this company has to offer is a pretty truck and the price that comes with is not worth putting up with the nonsense and ignorance that starts in orientation and follows from your first load. Drivers and customers beware!

Run. Just run. This company lies to you from the get go. Everything is fine at first, but if you learn the business or already know the business, you will see that they lie to you from the get.First, they have a very high CSA score of 97% as told to me from an Ohio state DOT TROOPER.They will lie to you about loads. They punish you for not taking a load. As a lease contract holder, youre forced to take or face retaliation. The CEO, Tim Evans, doesnt care about high turnover of drivers at all. They just dont have a clue how to run a successful trucking business.Bottom line is for you to avoid this company.Sacrifice is what they want from you and they do not care for you or your family. A lease operator, to these guys, is another name for company driver.

Very short 2 day orientation. No road test. Nice equipment. Personally i have a 2017 kenworth w900 86 inch studio sleeper with a 13sp. Staff is laid back and funny. The hotel is nice. Good size pool, good breakfast, with biscuits and gravy, waffles e.t.c. you get a voucher for the fancy restaurant connected to the hotel from tradition. Yes you can have a cocktail. Tradition just started a new pay scale at 82% and 2 distinctly different lease options. They both have the pro/ cons so weigh your options.

A pretty fair company to work for. If dispatch so happens to have an issue, they do their best to make it right. Always get paid on time.. Always work with you on your home schedule, also try and find the loads that will get you closer to where you need to be. No issues as of yet.

Are you submissive? Do you like the feeling of being ignored and that you are inconsequential? Do you enjoy driving equipment that is poorly maintained with a maintenance staff that doesnt answer their phones or return messages? Do you like spending countless hours on the phone trying to get anyone to help you with an issue? Do you like the idea of having to threaten litigation just to get your final paycheck? If you answered yes to the above then this is the company for you!Too bad there isnt a zero with which to rate this company. I expect them to close their doors within 5 years and when they do they will most likely leave their drivers stranded...

My husband worked for this company for 3 weeks, didnt get paid for the first 2 weeks and the third week after grossing 6000$ for the truck and 2700 miles brought home only 700$. They charge you 3% of the amount of diesel you pump on top of already having to pay 100% of diesel prices. Everything is based off percentages and there is no way to estimate what youll make. Even with high miles and high gross they still find ways to leave you with less than what a company driver makes. Everything was a lie he was told, they scam you and steal your money and tell you its just policy. Stay away from them!!!

DO Not go here .. complete scammers .. even if you turn your truck in you won’t see no money that your supposed to get from escrow account.. they even held my last check for $1700 .. I called and asked where my money is and they said my account was in negative ..If you drive for them .. be ready for some snow all winter .. the snow can mess your whole week up .. they rather house the loads that they have contracts with instead of finding good money loads on a load board when in need ..I know a driver that’s still stuck there now because he lost everything . His home and more and we started the same time around December.. so now he has to live in truck and still not seeing checks over $600 ..If you read these reviews and still think you have a chance then good luck ., at the end you will be screwed over period ..

Decent equipment, nice people but couple things made it a no go for me .They said these things in orientation*Use your cell phone as an eld and get no reimbursement for data used and have to pay them $5 a week for the use*If you go 5mph over speed limit they call you about it and give warning. I can understand 10 or more over but 5 seems little to much micromanagingEven though I was going as company i was interested in the lease but after hearing their not walk away lease, no thanks.I couldnt get a straight answer on what my pay would be as a company driver until I arrived at orientation. I was told it would be somewhere between .47 -.66 cpmRecruiters need more info from companyMy sister passed away while i was in orientation and had to leave. To their credit they did offer to help me get home but I chose to pay my own way home due to knowing this company wasnt for me and I wouldve felt guilty having them pay my way home .Their not a bad company from what I can see and learned while there just wasnt a fit for me .

I came to work for there lease purchase deal. It was the worst mistake of my life. I was gone for 2 months and got 1 $1500 check. The rest were $300 or negative amounts. Not only the pay was horrible but I could literally never get ahold of dispatch. Well I had to quit because I got so far behind bills it took me 6 months to get back up from the hole they helped me dig. Well 6 months later I havent gotten any of the money I put towards the maintenance account or any money back on the escrow. It was a horrible move for me to go to tradition, could be different for others but that was my experience.

Dont know how to rate them yet....Ive been with them 3 weeks so still learning. I will say I have been lied to twice so thats not good at all. I have made some decent money but worked my butt off for it. My dispatcher is the only good thing about the company so far. If you do decide to join tradition just understand that if they tell you you have 2 deferments you can use as you wish thats a lie....if they tell you that you pick your truck thats a lie. You pick the color from what they have not the motor or transmission. Also note that at no point have I ever been forced on a dispatch. I am always asked if I want the load and if your smart you will just say no to all coyote loads.

Absolute crook of a company.... if you want a company that uses you for their work without pay, this is the company for you.... after pre hiring a employee and giving a rental truck from Florida to north Alabama, to simply pick up a freight liner semi to drive the remaining distance to Indiana.....(from Florida in the first place) they simply used my father to move a truck they didn’t have anyone to move. Told me father he never got the job once he arrived with their truck. What a joke. Little did they know they simply lost the best driver in North America 50+ years behind the 18 wheels.
