I have changed my review from 2 to 5 star after speaking with the manager. He explained the problem satisfactory for me. I do see an improvement, it still has some bugs but I believe they will continue to improve.

My husband and I both work from home, and require a fast reliable service to get our work done. Lakeland has provided us with what we need to get it done. We also stream all TV and very seldom have any glitches with that also. They respond quickly when we are having an issue, and are friendly and helpful. They are definitely the fastest and most reliable in the area. Are they perfect? Nope. But hey, were in Angola here.

Our installer Amza did a great job. Very pleasant and knew what he was doing. Got our internet up and running quickly. Keep up the good work.

When it works it works. However. The largest issues I have is with the customer service. They post that their hours are until 6pm but if you try to call about an issue anytime from 5:30 until then they will not answer. If you are not available after 5:30 then please update your hours and I will update the review. Also the lack of after hours service technicians seems like a huge HUGE flaw. I understand that it’s sometimes the way it it is and that’s not the one star just would be sensible I feel. The one star is the wrongfully posted hours and the connection issues. Multiple times I have been in the middle of homework or work and it just stops. Then when I call and finally get an answer they say oh it was something we updated or it was something wrong in the tower. True wireless internet is a hassle for sure. I understand that. You could though update your customers. Hey we are doing maintenance this day or updates that day you will experience outages in these times. Not just shutting it off without giving them time to plan. The company could be great and the internet is awesome when it works. Just fix these things please especially with customer service because while the people are decent the ability to actually talk to one on weekends or after 5-5:30 is slim to impossible and that’s when majority of people are home using it. I will update this review if they correct or attempt to improve any of the things mentioned above. Could be a great service but we will see I guess.

If watching paint dry while waiting for your internet to work is appealing to you, this is the service for you. It seems youll get the speed you pay for maybe a week each month. Otherwise you get a fraction of the speed - if any internet access at all, because theres been many times where it moves so slow that websites dont even attempt to load due to timeout. Its not that they dont know that their service is poor quality, either. You can call them to report slow service and they 9 times out of 10 will say theyve already heard reports. If youre gonna charge 10 Mbps speeds, dont give your customers 0.5 for a massive portion of their time spent with you. Admittedly there are worse providers out there, but theres also plenty better. I advise you search for the better.

Recently moved and have used Lakeland internet for about two weeks now. Their customer service explained all the different plans to me and helped me get the best price for what we needed. We reported some service issues that we noticed and they quickly turned around and got it taken care of. We are up and running with no interruptions and greatful for the fast and reliable service. Best provider for your rural internet needs.

I called Monday desperate for service for children to do their virtual learning.I have been told by multiple companies that there was no access to internet services at my home.Lakeland didn’t show they could provide but they took it upon themselves to come out and do a survey to ensure it wasn’t an option. Appointment scheduled for 9. They were there at 8:45 and out by 9:45 with my internet connection working great!

I had an issue with serviced interruption last week, although response to my phone calls were on the slow side I did hear from an apologetic young lady that assured me that a tech would contact in the morning I did get a call from a tech in the morning and by 10:15 am my problem was solved so hats off to the Lakeland Team

Two days in a row, in the middle of the day they have scheduled maintenance? How can I work from home with no internet? Today they told us it would be 10 or 15 minutes...an hour and a half later I had to drive into Fort Wayne to finish my work day. This is not the first time this has happened! I need an internet provider that I can count on. Unfortunately we will be looking for a more reliable provider. Im very disappointed with the customer service that weve been provided.

They have excellent customer service. Several times I have had trouble working from home with internet connection and they responded IMMEDIATELY getting me up and running smoothly. When I do call in, very friendly. I highly recommend them.

We love the great service and Im loving the 25 mgb speed! I work from home so thats so much better than what we had. Streaming is never a problem now. John and his team are great to work with and we highly recommended Lakeland Internet to everyone!

Since purchased by ZipSpyder, the service has been downgraded and the price has jumped 150%. They want $60/mo for just 10MB of service while every other provider offers 50MB for the same cost or less. They also cut the winter rate to just 1MB for $30 which used to be 2MB for $20. Many service interruptions. Priced out of the market.

We have been very happy with our service. We stream a lot and never have any problems with the connection keeping up. Also customer service is awesome, very fast to respond to any questions.

Finally fast reliable internet! We have had the service for 6 months now and the speed is always fast. John and Lakeland go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. The customer service is A+. We waited a long time for fast internet in our area and we finally have it and could not be happier.

Since the merger the service has taken a huge nose dive. Company now seems to be run by the old ZipSpyder crew and I am back to having the same old issues. FRUSTRATED!!!! These problems are the reason I originally switched my service to Lakeland

The worse internet that I have ever had. And the worse customer care that I have ever dealt with. Instead of trying to figure out what the issue is they will tell you maybe their internet is not for you. They come out and put up equipment on a antenna that moves and places the equipment behind a tree. So the tree is blocking the signal. And when you tell them your internet is slow the only other answer they will give you is restart your modem . So I guess they expect you to restart it every day. And it still does nothing. What a pos for a company and taking care of their customers.

Worst customer service Ive ever seen.Update: Rates go up, reliability goes down. Currently sitting through an outage for the past 12 hours.

Their internet sucks speed slows down on weekends and peak times called multiple times was told to keep resetting the router never worked having new service installed today told them to come pick up their equipment

Communication would help
