I’ve taken my car here on two separate occasions, and have had good experiences both times! It is nice that they text you as soon as your car is done, so you’re not waiting around wondering. The staff even follows up several days after your service to make sure their work was up to your standards, and everything is running smoothly. I would highly suggest!! Nice staff and good work!!

I had to get a LandRover key reprogrammed and was told from the dealership it would be over $500. At Lonsbury Garage, Mark (Not positive that’s his name), was very upfront and honest with me say “I’ll give it my best effort but no promises” he even suggested the I go to the dealership for a guarantee fix. I decided to give Lonsbury a chance and the guy who fixed (I think Mark) stayed after hours to make sure I left with a car. Couldn’t have had a better experience at a shop.

Lonsbury Garage made it easy to schedule the repair of my vehicle even though I live in Indianapolis and it was in Angola. They were able to get me in fast, had great communication throughout the process, their automated systems made it easy to review the estimate and pay the bill once the work was finished. I felt like the pricing was fair, the workers were very friendly, and Id defiantly go back and/or recommend to a friend. It was an all around great experience given the situation.

I went to quite a few places because I had a screw in my tire and it kept going flat. We moved to Angola 2 yrs ago, and I was happy to know that there is a auto repair shop right across the street. We have been taking our trucks and our classic 68 Chevelle SS to them ever since! These boys are amazing and they all do excellent work! We are their neighbor and we look out for them as they have for us. I wont take my vehicles anywhere else, they are honest and up front with the diagnosis of your vehicle! Give them a call, I know they can get you in.

Great folks.went in to a/c compressor changed.and they gound the adjuster was rusty.they cleaned it up and works perfectly. They could have changed it and made good money.but they took the honest route.wish more people were like you all.ty ty

This place is a complete rip off. The mechanics either don’t know what they’re doing (not okay, but explainable) OR trying to rip you off and fix something that isn’t wrong. My husband and I brought our car there, they told us it needed a 10k rebuilt motor bc ours was blown. Not only is that an outrageous price for a used motor but turns what they said happened to our motor isn’t even possible with a non interference motor. We took it somewhere else, and now have a fixed vehicle for less than 1k. This has been the experience for us and multiple people we have talked to. DO NOT GO HERE.

They really do a thorough job when they run diagnostic on your car. They send you a detailed report VIA text message, with everything that is wrong. They even send pictures, which is nice.

I was in a hurry to get to Jackson Mich to pick up a motorcycle. I was in a foot race with somebody else who also wanted it.I pick up a shank in my tire just before the lake James exit on 69 north and barely made it off highway to gas station. I googled a tire repair place and they came up. I called them and spoke to Stacy and explained to her I was in a hurry. She immediately dispatched a tow truck to pick me up. They were there in 20 minutes. I got to the shop and they had a mechanic waiting to work on my truck tire. They patched it, put it back on and got me on my way. I was very happy and impressed with this shop and their dedication to the customer. This was professionalism on steroids.Something else I saw while there was that they had a mechanic that was wheel chair bound and he was working on cars. I’m a veteran and was very happy to see this. Highly recommend !!! these guys were great. Went in for bearing replaced and ended up the bad bearing caused damage to some gears. So jeep wasnt done when intended. I had important medical app with my daughter in Indy so it was important i got my car when intended so before i got the news of the gears, he made sure i knew he had a dependable vehicle for my trip and to keep it until my jeep was done. Price was exactly what he told me even though they had it an extra 4 days. Great work jeep sounds great. Very Happy customer

Had some standard maintenance done on my car. (Oil change, rotors, break pads, etc.) John was awesome to talk to. He communicated very quickly and was honest about everything. Told me my cost would stay under $400 and when it went over, he it fixed to stick to his word. Highly recommend these guys. Very smooth process.

Pretty disappointed in Lonsburys. Have an 03 F-250 SD 7.3. I had recently resealed the turbo pedestal, fuel bowl, and high pressure oil pump along with all new high pressure oil hoses. I still had an oil leak afterwards and called Lonsburys to have them take a look. On way to drop off truck it shut off and wouldnt restart. I had it towed to Lonsburys to be checked out. After a few days I call to check on truck and Im told both batteries are junk my ujoints needs replaced and the high pressure oil pump went out. Long story short had truck towed home. Deaded headed the pump and had 3500 psi but couldnt build pressure in right bank. A $100.00 and a few hours later i had the injector o-rings in right bank replaced and truck fired right up. Any deisel mechanic should know you must deadhead the pump to diagnose it you can not just monitor the icp pressure and then call it a bad pump. Oh and the batteries were taken to Advance charged and tested to be great 900 CCA 12.7v. Glad I can half way find my way around a motor or I been out $2500.00 for pump and batteries and still not have a running truck. As it is im out 106 diagnostic charge and 100.00 to have towed home.

Ive came to Lonsburys many times over the past few years for many services of my many trucks and my car. Ive had some minor small issues with service along the way, however they have always quickly rectified, and usually over and above, any of the situations. Their crew is always so polite, and honest to me, which is a trait hard to find now days it seems. The only real issue I have ever had is that its very hard to get thru to them via telephone. Id suggest just stopping in to see them if you can, or else it may take some attempts when calling.

I liked everything about this business. I was in a pinch to get my truck fixed (ASAP) I called- they got me in right away- they were very professional, not pushy at all. They told me everything that was wrong with my vehicle but then let me choose what I wanted to get fixed. Longsbury Garage did a great job with all of our vehicles. I also loved being able to book my oil change appointment online. I also loved getting a detail reciept that showed me pictures of what is going on with my car.They also were very nice when I had questions and did not make me feel dumb.

Lonsbury Garage was recommended to us by several friends we attended church with. After the work was done and the bill was paid I realised that some of the work that was done I hadnt asked for and the main thing the vehicle went in for wasnt addressed. To say the least I was upset. By then it had been over a week. I approached Stephen about this problem. He pulled the transcript up on the computer and it was as I had said. It was a case of poor internal communication. Stephen didnt blame it on his people. He apologized, blamed himself, an asked for a chance to make it right. Normally I dont go back for seconds, but he seemed very sincere. To his credit, Stephen finished this job himself, invested his time and money, way beyond being fair to me, just so I was happy. I would recommend these guys to anyone. If you have a problem with the bill, talk to them about it. In my humble opinion they are honest.

The first time I meet any one at Lonsburys, it was John. He introduced himself, and said They call me Big John. OK Big John, Im Big Sue. I have had my Chrysler 200 in for front brakes, rear brakes, dash LED replacement lights, and a synthetic oil change now. Stephans employees are always courteous, and professional. They take the time to explain anything that might be an issue, or upcoming with my car. I trust their judgement, prices, and expertise.When I need anything done at Lonsburys, I always hope John will answer the phone so I can say Hey Big John, this is Big Sue, and he knows exactly to whom he is speaking.

Callled for a quote and they literally picked up my car and quoted it that day. The following day they called with a quote and had already placed an order for parts incase I wanted to use their service but with no obligation to. I confirmed I did and they sent me a link to approve with the exact amount, also quoting me several other options of maintenance that they could service for me. I approved the services I wanted and expected to be contacted within a few days. THE VERY NEXT DAY, they called me and told me my car was done! I retrieved and paid for my car and within 48 hours they had messaged me to make sure it was still running properly. How is this possible?! Who are these men and why are they providing such phenomenal services to the community??!! It should really be looked into. I will definitely be going back, purely for academic purposes...

Superb Customer Service at Lonsbury’s in Angola!On May 13, 2019, I took my car in for a repair and in the process another attached part broke. When they explained the part needed was not available until the next day, I shared that I had to have my car back that day to travel to Indianapolis for work the next day. Stefan worked to see if he could get the part quicker and when that was not an option, he offered his personal vehicle for my use. I truly appreciated the offer and was so pleased with the positive and solution focused service that I received. I don’t think this would have happened at many or any other places. I cant say enough good things! We had car problems on a long trip and thankfully stumbled across Lonsbury Garage. They squeezed us in, made sure our car was fixed, rotated our tires while waiting for it too cool down and gave the kids Popsicles. Such a great garage with a nice, clean waiting room.

Not quite sure how, but I took an excellent running and driving vehicle here for some basic maintenance. I got it back leaking fluid like crazy. Never leaked a drop prior to visiting lonsbury garage, now my driveway looks like the Exxon Valdez struck a reef!! Took it back and the fix somehow made it worse! I wont be back a third time, obviously. Also, they charged a decent amount over their initial quote they promised not to exceed without a phone call or warning.Its hard to find a good place for maintenance to vehicles you care about. This is not the place.

For 20 years I have had all the maintenance work on my 3 vehicles done by lonsburys. They always get it done correctly, on time, and at a reasonably rate. They charge much less than a dealer, and their mechanics are totally certified and experienced.

I own a classic 1984 Mercedes Benz that needed the air conditioning system dryer replaced. Stephens crew did a great job and his price was very competitive.

A little backstory...I was traveling through Angola Indiana on my way to Ohio for work when the hanger holding my muffler system decided to break and drag on the road. I was able to get my vehicle towed to the closest mechanic shop which happened to be Lonsburys Garage. Being a female, alone, in an area I was not familiar with, I was apprehensive if this garage would even want to help me. I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, this business has earned my respect! Not only did they take care of my car right away, they also were engaged, respectful, explained throughout the event what process they were on, and insured I was comfortable. The balance due for service was extremely fair, I thought it would be twice as much due to my car being dropped in their lap, yet they did not take advantage of the situation and when the job was completed, they cheerfully seen me on my way. There are good mechanical businesses out there, Lonsbury Garage is one of them! Thank you, gentlemen!
