Been going here for almost 10 years now for my babies. All the staff are extremely nice and responsive and the vets are always super informative and leaves you with no questions after a visit. This vet is also not money hungry and genuinely just want the best for your pets. I can’t say enough good things about them and will always go here

Medical staff is definitely attentive, efficient & have genuine concern for their patients. Unfortunately, this clinic has few if any discounts for a family w/multiple pets and their fees are generally higher than other vet clinics. This is our local clinic of choice out of convenience as opposed to a longer drive to West Columbia, a clinic of more reasonable prices.

I absolutely love dr Miller and his workers! He and his workers are not only professionals, but they genuinely care for their patients. I found a kitten a few months ago that was sick, dr Miller and crew helped make him better. They have preformed the spay and nueter surgeries on all three of my cats, they all healed up without any complications. I will continue to bring my kitties here for all their vet needs (=

What can I say I had a great experience with the Doctor and his Staff. Doctor Miller explained everything from beginning to end and was quite shocked to find out the surgery was much less than anticipated. I will definitely be back and found a new home for my pets. Thank you guys!!

The front desk staff were courteous. I’ve taken my animals there for 20+ years. Today I lost all respect for Dr. Miller. I had a feral female kitten that needs to be spayed. I was trying to do the right thing and get her spayed to prevent litter after litter of feral cats. Dr. Miller not only reneged on our agreement, but refused to even talk to me in person. He sent a little 17-18 y/o girl out to tell me he wouldn’t do it after all. I lost all respect for Dr. Miller in that moment. I am currently seeking a new vet for my personal animals because of Dr. Miller’s lack of professionalism and indifference to the needs of his patients. I do NOT recommend this vet clinic.

We went over to this clinic for our puppys first vet trip and the staff was very kind and tried their best to make sure our puppy wasnt nervous. I could tell the staff cares about animals and try their best during every appointment. They told us helpful information and I recommend going to this clinic if youre near the area.

This place was wonderful and so welcoming. My cat had a bladder infection and despite how booked they were, they still worked me in. They were upfront with the cost which was more affordable then all the other places. Most importantly, they cared about me and my cat which is hard to find. Oh, and they have this beautiful big black cat that walks around the place who was just as friendly as the staff. I enjoyed the place so much that I brought my kids in with me next time to visit with the cat. They made going to the vet enjoyable. Great job!

I have nothing but praise for this clinic. Dr Miller started looking after my dogs when Dr Hale retired. So for close to 20 years now he has cared for my Springer Spaniels from birth to grave with great care and more importantly great passion.

I had to put my beloved 15 yr old fur baby Lorie down. Dr. Miller and his staff were so compassionate and caring of me and my most loyal friend. They put me right in a room so I could spend time with her alone. They allowed me the time to say good bye to Lorie. After the procedure, again, they allowed me time alone with her. I appreciate the compassion they gave me and my most loyal companion.

Ive used Veterinary Medical Center of the Gulf Coast ever since Dr. Miller took over a few years ago. Dr. Miller and his staff give my pets the best care I could ever want. I have two pets that require routine care and I am very comfortable leaving them in Dr. Millers hands. His staff knows my pets by name and never need to be reminded whats going on with each of them.

What a top notch veterinarian clinic. They were so professional and caring from the start to the end. They were awesome from answering the phone and explaining their services and prices to greeting you when you walked in the door and thru the whole time you were there till the time you left.wish all veterinarians were this kind and professional. They really set the bar very high for themselves and their customers.

This is the best vet we’ve ever been to! Through an unfortunate string of events, one of my Thai cats (yes, they are actually from Thailand to Texas) decided to eat some string! At the time we didn’t know how much our cat had eaten and Dr. Raymond Miller was hesitant to resort to surgery after taking an examining an X-Ray. He advised us to “wait it out” and to “feed her a wet diet and see how she was.” As it turns out, our cat passed two feet, on her own, from both ends! Unfortunately, this wasn’t enough and she began to vomit after eating. We took her back in and got her in to surgery immediately. Three and a half feet of string later, our kitty was saved! What’s more, even after their amazing surgical work, Dr. Miller and his staff continued to monitor the status of “our precious” many times over the following week. We’ve never experienced such care and empathy from any other vet. Have Dr. Miller care for your pet and be sure to contribute to their Angel fund! They have a wonderful staff, led by an outstanding Veterinarian!

Dr. Miller & Dr. Orlik and the entire staff At Veterinary Medical Center of the Gulf Coast are an outstanding team of individuals who are professional, compassionate and truly care for their patients. From the minute you walk through the door you are greeted with a smile. I have 6 dogs ranging from 48lbs to almost 90 lbs. and they are always treated with kindness and a gentle hand. My smallest 48lb. Pittie was a rescue from a horrible shelter and has had to have several surgeries including the amputation of her right front leg. Dr. Miller and his staff have gone above and beyond to get this sweet girl healthy so that she can live a happy life. I would not hesitate to recommend this Vet and staff to anyone who is looking for individual, excellent care for their pets.

IT pains me to even rate Veterinary Medical Center of the Gulf Coast 3 stars but I must have to be fair.We have a large indoor house cat and a larger Male Boxer that is also an indoor Fur-babyAs a vet/vet clinic Dr. Miller is amazing. He has a wealth of knowledge when speaking of our particular situations. He always had wonderful tips and trick to help us out with our animals. He was very approachable and I never felt like I was being rushed when we would visit him. He was very loving to the animals and loved on them when we went in to visit. The front office staff and nurses were equally amazing. Always prompt and kind when answering the phone. They showed love and respect to both animals and their humans. They were always ready with a smile and kind word. The office is a large open space that is impeccably kept. They offer a small parking lot that is clean as well. The clinic is clearly marked and is conveniently located.ALL that being said I was shocked at how things ended with them and our animals. The Summer of 2016 our Boxer stayed at the Clinics boarding facility a total of 2 and half weeks (between 2 visits).Ont he last stay my husband picked him up when he came home i saw 2 large deep unattended and nasty cuts on his upper left check. These 2 cuts had to be 1.5 inches long. Our Boxer is white and there is NO WAY you could miss this on his face.I called immediately and asked if there was some kind of incident report on this and who was taking care of our lil man. The young lady that answered had no idea and said there was nothing like an incident report or note on the file (Paper file or computer file) showing that anything happened to him. Said she would have the office manager look into it and call me. They did offer to have me bring him back in and they would look at his cuts. I made sure there would be no charge for the visit and any meds he would need that they would pay for it, they agreed.Once he was taken in conveniently he needed no meds and they were sorry for the situation BUT we were told to clean it daily with Peroxide and neosporen (Which we went to buy) I cleaned it for days after this.Next day I did get a call from the Office Manager only to hear the same thing. Then she speculated that perhaps he caught his face on a fence there or perhaps he got to close to the dog in the next cage and he may have swiped at our dog. She did say that the DOG NEXT to his kennel was aggressive towards our guy and so they moved OUR guy away from the aggressive dog. She assured me that the dogs never interact with each other outside during boarding.I felt helpless and like there was nothing more I could do. I felt I had no choice but to let it go. Even though our Boxer had 2 deep cuts on his face and they look to be there for a long time to come.Days later I was so ticked thinking about this situation and I called in to speak to the Vet Dr. Miller himself.MIRACULOUSLY he was able to pull up an indecent report on said situation. He said that it detailed how our Boxer was being aggressive and was then listed as such so there were precautions in place for Aggressive dogs He said that he must have gotten into it with the dog next to him in the kennel so they moved OUR dog.I told him of the above situation and that on 3 occasions NOT ONE of the office staff had such a report on file and I questioned the validity of the report and his notes. In this situation i instantly lost some respect for Dr. Miller. We have not been back since (end of Summer 2016) and we are in the process of finding a different vet and boarding place.
