Wayne came out to our business (Good I was not there) a clear attempt to take advantage of my office manager. Attempted to charge $1600 to refill Freon on a residential unit we have at our business. I had a second quote and it was less than $300. Please think twice before using this company, their sole purpose is to nickel and dime.

My HVAC system stopped working on Monday. The next 4 days were forecasted to be around 100 deg each day. I called Monday afternoon to get the next available appointment - Wednesday afternoon. They were the first to answer. I scheduled the appointment and asked if I could cancel if I got an earlier appointment elsewhere (I didnt). They said of course please call as soon as possible so they could service someone else. Here is how it went:1. The initial phone call was answered by a very polite young lady who took the time to discuss the issue and offer suggestions.2. I was called the next day (Tuesday - nearly 24 hours early) to ask if they could send a tech due to an opening.3. Service tech (Wayne) arrived a full day prior to my appointment. Pleasant and professional. He asked what was happening and went directly towards, and identified, the issue without hesitation. He was happy to answer any questions I had. We chatted and, never once did he stop working while engaging in very polite conversation.I would not only recommend this company, but would ask to have Wayne be my technician. The repair was done quickly and the price was reasonable. My HVAC is working perfectly now.

I highly recommend Hanna Heating & Air Conditioning for your heating and cooling needs. The service and installation workers are some of the best Ive ever come across. They are very knowledgeable, efficient and highly skilled. They removed our old a/c & furnace and installed a new RUUD Achiever air conditioner & furnace system in 2 hours. They respected our property and left no trace they were here after finishing the work. This is the 2nd A/C & heating system that Hanna Heating & Cooling has installed in our house since it was built 30 years ago. Nothing but the best to say for this business and their staff.

Just had a new furnace, ac and water heater installed. From the first meeting with the project manager to the technicians that installed it everybody was prompt, professional, clean, knowledgeable, nice and affordable. Highly recommend!!!

I was visiting my sister in Derby Kansas June 5th when her air conditioning stopped blowing cool air. She called the Hanna at about 8PM and left a message with their call center. Johnny Combs returned the call Saturday morning and assured my sister he would squeeze her in that day...a short time later he called back and said he would be there shortly. When he arrived we were greeted with a BIG and enthusiastic SMILE. You could immediately tell he likes his work and takes pride in his job. His communication was professional and ...still smiling!!! He quickly found the freon leak and provided a temporary repair and advised he would set up a appointment on Monday to return and repair the leak. He called back early Monday just like he promised and set up a time for the repair. We will definitely call Hanna if we ever need help with our heating or air conditioning and will recommend them to any of our friends or neighbors needing help!!! Johnny is amazing...Fantastic customer service!!!

Cesar and John just completed the installation of two new AC units and a furnace in my home. They were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. They did an excellent job and I couldnt be more pleased. Jason, who bid my job, was also wonderful and a wealth of good information. I would highly recommend Hanna Heating and Cooling for any HVAC need.

Johnny Combs was referred to me by a friend in 2017 when our A/C froze up. Johnny told me what was wrong and gave me three options to address the problem. He didnt force anything upon me. He didnt tell me I had to replace the unit. He told me what each of the three options would get me and let me make an informed decision.Johnnys approach was a welcome surprise. Ive never received such treatment by other service industry professionals. Ive always been told You have to do _____. Ive never been given options.Ive continued to call Johnny with my HVAC needs and he never ceases to amaze me. Hes repaired the unit at my rental house (twice) and finished what someone else started at another house thats under construction.Johnny understands that money doesnt grow on trees and he always gives me options instead of pressuring me into an expensive decision (which usually means buying something brand new).Id recommend Johnny and Hanna Heating & Air to anyone and Id be tempted to argue with you if you were going to use someone else.

Jason and the rest of the team are amazing!! I started requesting bids last March for an HVAC system. The prices were all over the place and I could not get anyone to call me back. When I did get a chicken scratch bid, it was vague. I can’t in good confidence spend 10k+++ with a business without details. As a business owner, it surprised me that so many companies had zero follow through. Most of of the places I called wouldn’t even travel 30 miles. I even called a local company and after they came out, they never called back to give me a cost I even called multiple times to ask for it. Jason called me back the day I called them. He drove from Andover to Hutchinson to Marion and back to Andover the day he came out to give me an estimate. Each day they did the install his team drove 100+ miles. His company wasn’t the cheapest but for what I got they were!! It was so worth the money! Last night I slept like a baby with my new central heat and air. I’ll be using them in my other home, without a doubt! I would highly recommend them to anyone!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Just used Hanna Heating Air Conditioning & Plumbing for a home central A/C problem. I highly recommend them for the following reasons:1)They were on site very quick!2)The office staff & technician were professional (courteous, friendly, knowledgeable & helpful).3)They are very reasonable and competitively priced.4)The technician provided good to know information to extend the life of our A/C system.5)The servicing technician (Sheldon) even went out of the way to provide additional help cheerfully; he got out of the van, after he was already backing out of the driveway, to assist me with leveling my A/C unit when he saw me heading that way with some leveling tools…exceptional!I was very pleased with their service!

Sept. 19, 2019My husband and I had Hanna Heating & Air Conditioning come to our home to fix our air conditioner a few weeks ago. What a terrible mistake we made. This company is so dishonest they rank as crooks. Our first experience was this Spring with a 99.00 sevice call to check and clean your unit to ensure having uninterupted service in the hot summer weather. Of course we hoped if anything was in question it could be fixed. I just wish Id looked at their other customer reveiws.Now in Sept. The unit is down and were in 95 degree weather. The repairman was here for about 30 minutes and found the problem right away. The blower motor was no good. He said he would be back in a few days because they had to order it. Then he handed me the clipboard to sign for that service call of 98.00. I did not sign anything about an estimate of $1,000.00. Later the service manager was very rude and insisted I did. The total bill was $1,541.80. Ive never had a male talk to me so mean and rude. He said, we dont ever want to do business with you again. I dont want to mess with you.Its because he knows my husband and I knew they cheated us badly took advantage of the heat.One of the customers that gave a review also knew about Washers Specialist in Wichita and that you canbuy all types of motors for $100.00.It is overwhelming to see the reviews left. Three people had similiar problems. Jess, Derek and Amy Banta. They were scammed in similiar ways like us. Also, the parts and labor were not listed with prices on our invoices.I am going to find out if my Trane was out of warranty. At any rate I intend to write the Trane Company and let them know how Hanna is using their name.I will never forget how their Service Manager John talked to me. It was very inappropriate. Please protect your yourself from these criminals.NOTE TO OWNERS; please dont make any of your phoney replies to me.Linda

Dont get taken for a ride! He (who supposed to be a service manager) comes out & tells my sister the fan motor is bad. He didnt have the part but said the job would probably be around $800 but had to price the part to be sure. So then when he calls back the next day, he says the job would be $650 like some garbage tactic to make you think he saved you money (on top of the $150 service charge that didnt even replace motor so still $800). Read the other bad review & its the same astronomical mark up! You can save the reply too, arguing like you have a business to run & this is natural. A 7x markup, $700 labor, when other companies arent charging this, isnt the norm. I went to washer specialties in Wichita & got the part for about $100. I went straight to her house & put it in SUPER easy AFTER he warned me on the phone not to try because it was so hard. He wouldnt even give me the part number & acted like he didnt know. They dont even have that part & it would of been a universal one. So he was just making it harder on my poor sister who didnt have that kind of money. Ive never touched an AC unit in my life. Now mind you, when he came out the 1st time, he said he took apart the motor to get it running but it wouldnt last long which was true. I found that the bolts were loose on the fan. So either they were loosened intentionally or never checked. Either way, a professional should of checked & not left it to a 1st timer. In my opinion, you should avoid this company at all costs! Call around, get quotes & dont be afraid to try yourself! Were in the middle of a heat wave & theres going to be a lot of people out there that can take advantage of you.

There work is fine but their prices are not in line with the local market in my opinion. That would be true of repair work and unit replacement. Do yourself a favor and get three bids from competitors and see if I am right.

We have used Hanna for years and have always been very pleased with the service. The technicians have always been very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and honest! We have never had any after hour issues with our HVAC system until recently (July 2015). I came in from doing yard work on a very hot (heat indices over 100 degrees) SUNDAY evening to find my AC was not cooling the house. I called the after hours number for Hanna and found the person on the other end very friendly and caring as well. Within 15 minutes the on call technician called me back. I described the problem and he said he would be out within the hour. True to his word, he was on time, and best of all he had the part to fix the problem and I had a cool house. The technician had been out all day with other emergency calls and I could tell by looking at him that he was tired; however, he was so friendly, caring and professional. He thanked ME for being nice! I have always trusted Hanna for our HVAC needs, but in an emergent situation is where the rubber meets the road and this company and technician went above and beyond! I would recommend them to anyone!

I have been with Hanna for the past 10 years and have been very satisfied with their installations and service and installs I had a new furnace and April humidifier installed 10 years age and an air conditioner last year(2014) Also a service contract for the past 6 years. I have found all the techs to be very knowledgeable and friendly, always on time , and very courteous..

I am posting another update. We had to spend another $1800, for another coil this summer. This one as well as the last one would have been covered by the warranty had Hanna handled things the way they should have.I am updating my review from a year ago. We continue to have problems with the poorly installed systems that Hannah put in. And I am also finally responding to Hannahs response to my review (because we are having problems again and it brings it all up). I did call them, as they repeatedly asked me to do in their response. They were untruthful and very rude in our short conversation and offered no resolution.As my original review says, I do not recommend Hannah at all. I hate to speak so negatively of a local business but as I said before, in this case it is warranted and I hope to save others from similar problems.First of all I want to say I rarely post reviews. This case however, warranted a review as I hope to save others from our awful, costly experience. This specific Hanna location installed two brand new Ruud ac units in our home 4 years ago. We were promised lower utility bills. Our bills have consistently been higher since installation of the units, and a lot higher. Additionally, we have had to have many service calls, most of which have not solved our problems. One example, at one point the thermostat basically quit working and they wanted $275 to replace it. Instead, I got the exact same unit on Amazon for $125 and all I had to do was open the box and plug it in. The last straw and the reason we are finally posting a review is that recently, after multiple trips out to repair one of the units, Hanna insulted us by coming back out and standing in the entry and telling me we needed a new coil. The technician said the part was covered under warranty but the installation was $600. He said he knew this was the problem because it is the only thing it could be, I am not kidding at all, that is exactly what he said! He never left my entry, never looked at the unit, never checked ONE THING and suggested a $600 repair, and again, that was only for labor. We called Hanna after he left and the lady that answered said part of the cost was filing a lot of paperwork for the warranty and that maybe we should try a Trane, I guess suggesting that we buy more new units from them after only 4 years. Anyway, the place is a complete joke. We had another company out that afternoon, they added freon and the unit has been working fine since. I would stay away from this place for both service and new installations.

We have had problems with the coil in our builder installed air conditioner leaking a couple times over the last two years. First time we had Hanna come out and fix it under manufacturers warranty in the middle of the summer. They were kind enough to recharge the unit so we could have air conditioning until the new coil came in. This replacement coil came with a one year manufacturers warranty. Lo and behold one year and one month later the replacement coil springs another leak due to another manufacturer problem (just Google Rheeme class action lawsuit). Wayne with Hanna came out and checked the unit out and while the manufacturer was being difficult, Hanna did everything they could to work with them and make sure that we got a good deal on a replacement coil once again since it was only one month outside of warranty. I cant recommend Hanna enough. They really go above and beyond to take care of their customers and there is no doubt who we will be calling for any future heating and air conditioning work.

Worst place ever! STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS! Other places will replace your coil for less than $800 , these CRIMINALS. Want $1500! They came out and charged me $348 for Freon when I could have been charged only $80 from another local company! Stay way from these thieves! The guy laughs at you if your a woman and just talks over you...rudest people Ive ever dealt with! RIP OFF!
