I have have participated in several leadership programs over my career, and believe my Leadership Academy experience was by far the most beneficial to me personally and professionally. It is important to understand our personal gifts and talents, but more importantly learning how to utilize those abilities for the benefit of those in your community is monumental. The Leadership Academy opened my eyes to the opportunities to serve right in front of me.

This program is a great way to learn about yourself and how to interact with others and your community. The really open your eyes to how you fit into the bigger picture when it comes to working in and leading groups.Plus, its fun and you meet a lot of great people who want to learn and help.

I would highly recommend going through the leadership academy. It is a wonderful way to develop your personal and professional leadership skills. It also is a great way to meet other professionals in the community and learn about the many things Madison County has to offer, which makes it great for people new to the area.

LAMC benefits Madison County organizations and residents by training youth and adults to be engaged and productive members of our community. If you want a glimpse of what effect a small group of people can have in Madison County, just come out to the annual Holiday Gift Fair and see how they transform everyday gift-giving into community support. Its truly amazing and inspiring!

LAMC is a wonderful local program that not only helps individuals grow personally, but is helping the community to prosper! LAMC not only grew my leadership skills but helped me to become a more involved community citizen. The course is wonderful for the individuals that attend and is helping to drive real change in Madison County.

I learned so much about myself personally and professionally through this experience. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

If not for my association with LAMC, I won’t be participating in as many community work/projects as I currently am and that has brought a new fulfilling meaning to my short and small existence on this planet. Really.

Going through the Leadership Academy was one of the most influential programs that I have the opportunity to participate in. I learned so much about myself throughout the course of the program. I mostly learned how I can become a better servant leader. I also developed connections with other leaders in the community as well. The facilitators of the LAMC are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, caring, and excellent examples of living the theory of Servant Leadership. If youre a person interested in doing more in your community, but just not quite sure how to get involved or how to use your personal strengths; the LAMC is the best place to start. Grow. Serve. Lead.
