New property management company, owner, maintenance, and site manager. They have had it for less than 2wks and the place is already improving so much! On site staff are amazing... much needed. They are doing tons of improvements and taking care of all the neglect. They make the tenants feel like they are heard and are here to help us. Thanks and keep up the amazing work!

I loved living here. Yes they are older buildings but very well maintained. The staff is always prompt and courteous. They go out of their way to help people. Virtually 0 crime in the time I lived there, I think a couple yelling matches was about the worst of it. A few people smoke but management is very quick to address the situation. Apartments are average size but lots of closet space, very clean and well taken care of. I couldnt think of a better rental community in Anderson.

I ADAMANTLY FEEL THIS PLACE IS TOO RUN DOWN AND UNDERSTAFFED TO HAVE A POSITIVE LIVING EXPERIENCE. LOOK ELSWHERE TO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. My opinion based on REPEATED bad experiences. Run down and depressing.

Management is great and seem to really care about their tenants.

I have been here at White River Village since August 2012. We too had some issues with the management that was here. Recently a new manager took over and things have been a LOT better since then. It seems like our repairs get done faster and the manager has been following up to make sure we are satisfied with the repair and that everything is working right. The new lady also has kicked out people that were contantly messing things up. We used to have these kids that ran around without adult supervision and were destroying everything - the new lady made them leave when the other manager didnt do anything in all of the MONTHS of complaints. We were so ready for our lease to be up so we could move out of here, but if it continues the way it is now (June 2013) then we will definitely be renewing our lease here. What a difference a change in staff makes!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!This is by far one of the worst apartment complexes I believe Anderson has to offer. Nothing is ever fixed right the first time, and when you have to call maintenance back out over the same issue they get short with you.Our heat did not work when we moved in. Skiles Electric was out several times, new thermostats were put in, the heat still did not work. Finally after 2 months of the same issue and complaints the manager and maintenance basically called us a liar and said our heat was working fine when it was not.We had to contact the owner of the property personally, and finally a new technician from Skiles was sent out, and our heat wasnt working properly. There were no apologies to us what-so-ever.Our heat then worked fine until here recently. Again our heat is not working. My children are repeatedly getting sick and the maintenance again tells us that there is nothing wrong. The turn dial on the heater box wont turn and keeps sticking either leaving the heat completely off or fully on to where we cant shut it off. So we either freeze or burn up. They say to page them on call when something like this happens, but dont answer the pages.We have also had a problem with moisture and mold in our bedroom for the 5 out of the 6 months we have been here. Maintenance comes in and repeatedly cleans the areas with bleach and water, but it does not fix the issue and mold reappears. The manager has promised to get it fixed and has since October and yet we are still having the same issue.In the summer months the apartment is fine to live in since you dont have to run your heat and only your air conditioner. In the winter months if the temperatures reach the single digits you better have some space heaters handy because even on high your apartment will freeze. There is no insulation in the walls and they become ice cold to the touch. The walls also crack for no particular reason right down the middle as we have seen in one of our bedrooms, and in the kitchen.We were also told similar complaints by other residents that live out here as well and while we cant personally vouch for those statements I believe them to be true based on our own experiences. There are multiple heating issues in this apartment complex, and they are not addressed as they need to be. If you want to pay your good money for an apartment that actually works this is not the place for you, and I would stay far away.Staff is very unpleasant, and experience horrible. We cant wait until our lease is up so we can move out of here. It cant come soon enough.

Takes them forever to fix anything we have been here for almost a year now and nothing has been fixed we had no air conditioning in the summer and now that it is february we (an entire building) has been without hot water for almost 5 days. the police are here on a daily basis for one reason or another every building smells of drugs and there is violence at least once a week in the parking lot. there is not enough parking and many times i have had to park on the opposite side of the complex of fear of being towed if i park under the car port that maybe 2 people here actually purchase. worst place we have ever lived

Revolving door of managers. Constant issues with plumbing. Months at a time my friend went without water. When she did have water it was only cold water.
