Let’s just say this apt complex is a joke my apt is not even renovated and I pay almost 1000 dollars a month and the ones that are renovated are cheaper than what I pay a month. They don’t fix anything correctly and the lie about there work and when I call them out on it they wanna treat me like I don’t know anything about stuff at all. The only reason I have stayed is cause of one person that works here and she has been awesome. I would not advise anyone to live here I have been keeping pictures of things in my phone on how work is done when stuff needs to be fixed and trust me they don’t fix anything the right way

Management doesnt care about the people that rent from them. They never answer the phone in office. When the floor needed replacement in kitchen the day before it was to be replaced we moved everything out of there. The contractor didnt show up until the following week. Was told the same lie everyday for a week. If you have anything shipped to your apartment from FedEx or UPS they will drop it off at the office and management doesnt tell whoever had the package shipped. As for the monthly rent they over charge for the apartments.

They raise your rate 50 dollars every year. Never missed a payment, never caused any damage and reported any issues ASAP, never caused any problems, and still each time it comes to renew the lease it 50 dollars more. It doesnt make any sense to charge more for a renewal of the lease rather than the cost the apartment is advertised for.On 8/24 I caught the maintenance person Charles throwing his trash from his golf cart in-front of my apartment. Thanks Charles. I appreciate you treating where I live like your personal trashcan. We now go down to one star.

This place is a nightmare. All night partying. Loud music all hours of the night. Bugs bugs and more bugs. Lots and lots of roaches, Work orders never completed unless the AC goes out. Doors do not secure properly. Disrespectful little kids running loose. Kids fighting and swearing and blasting loud music. Car vandalism. Had a car window knocked out and a headlight kicked out. Never knew by who as it was all completely random... This place may look cheap or economic but its really just a nightmare where the power bill is ridiculous just to get a few hours of good temp in the summer. Staff is extremely rude and defensive when confronted with work orders not fulfilled for roaches or defective doors.

This is a bit long but it really outlines our issues. We visited Anderson in summer of 2017 and fell in love with the area, then we had a 3 years old and I was pregnant with our second daughter. We did a little overview of the area but nothing in depth as we were only passing through, however early 2018 we found out that my husband was being transferred to Anderson and we couldnt be happier. This was our dream coming through but we were given less than a month to relocate which was extremely hard. We werent able to do much research on Apartments so we were recommend to Ashford pointe by staff at Ashford Cove. When we came to tour tje apartment we were shown the perfect unit, were told that the unit we would be renting wasnt ready so we couldnt see it. We applied and went back to our then home and was informed that we got the appointment but because of distance my husband was the only one who was able to come to SC to look at the apartment and sign the lease. The night we arrived with our baboes we were way to tired to inspect but when we got up in the morning I was really really disappointed. The apartment was old as dirt. The bathrooms were tiny and old, the living rooms nor bedrooms had no lights, the kitchen was outdated and had little to no counter top nor cupboard space. We really did try to get the place to be a bit more comfortable for our family especially our babies but all this was in vain. Couple days after moving there we had a leaky pipe in the washroom but we were rudely told by the ground staff that it was our fault and our washer was the problem we however proved them wrong by making a video in the night and it was their pipes and not our washer. We did get an apology the next day. Half of the livingroom carpet was drenched and they however sent someone with a fan to rip up the carpet and installed the fan underneath it. It was dried after a few days. About a week after moving we discovered that there were bed bugs, however the staff at the office acted as if we were the one who brought them here and we were told that because we didnt notice and reported the bed bugs withing 48 hrs after moving in we would have to stand the cost; which we had little problem with, seeing that it mean that we got rid of the infestation. Now almost four weeks and two inspections later we are still having the bed bugs issue after and its become really uncomfortable and a little disgusting to be living like this. We decided that its best to just break the lease and pay the consequences and get a new place where our family can be comfortable. We would never ever recommend Ashford Pointe to anyone. We will gladly take our rent where its appreciated.P.S. Both the office and ground staff act like you are not supposed to report any problem. I am guessing just take whatever this old apartment throw at you and not complain .

I am looking for an apartment near my son who is attending school in Spartanburg. I toured several apartments owned by Radco because my son loves his Apartment owned by them in Spartanburg. I was highly impressed with this community. The property looked very clean and the staff was friendly. It may be a little far from him, but I truly liked the apartments.

Ok, this place is not top of the line, it has it problems, as can be expected. We were told before we moved in that our apartment was newly renovated, upgraded, and we were the first tenants to live here since the remodel. When we first moved in the hvac system ran constantly. After a week of this we approached maintenance to ask for assistance, only to be asked if the system was set to on instead of auto. When we finally convinced them we did not have our heads up our butt and knew how to operate a system, they came to take a look at it and discovered the wires were crossed. The windows were a joke. They barely stayed in their frames. We joked that everything but the windows got upgraded. To be honest, I believe this upgrade basically consisted of a fresh coat of paint. I am glad we owned plenty of power strips cause there were so few electrical outlets. My family and I can put up with a lot and everything mentioned so far is really trivial, but here is what we found unacceptable and got us looking for a new residence:Maintenance was called because the blinds in our kids room were broken and we needed them to be replaced. Our oldest daughter had stayed home from high school because she was not feeling well. Maintenance rang the doorbell and being VERY shy and not wanting to get in the way, she went to the master bedroom and hid in the closet. Maintenance let themselves in to do their job, or so we thought. Instead of going to the kids bedroom, the assistant maintenance worker came into the master bedroom and started looking through the drawers of my wifes nightstand! Peeking through the closet doors she saw the whole thing. At this time my son and I got home from work/school. He ran ahead of me and rang the doorbell to let his sister know we were home. She stated that was when the assistant maintenance worker ran the kids bedroom. As we walked in the door she ran down the stairs towards us. I started up the stairs and the assistant maintenance worker quickly brushed past me, to exit, mumbling something about the blinds he brought not being long enough. After learning my daughters side of the story I went to the front desk to report the snooping maintenance worker. Nothing had been taken and the front desk worker acted like nothing was wrong. THAT is unacceptable!!! Long story short, if you decide to live here, be prepare to have your stuff looked through!

I would not recommend these apartments to anyone. Here are some of the issues. For what I am paying for this apartment this is ridiculous.I had a toilet that was running over since November of 2015 that they attempted to fix several times. I finally wrote them a letter about the problems that I have and finally start getting SOME results. it is June and I was told by the Company that service the unit that there is extensive work that needs to be done to fix this the correct way. What he did yesterday is only a temporary fix and not sure how long it will work. There are roots growing under the building that is clogging the sewer line. The A/C barely works upstairs. There are no return units upstairs so the heat has no were to go. You can not close your room door because the heat is unbearable. The maintenance man did all he could do to fix this. They need to have a Company come out and put returns in all of the Town house apartments. When I first move in the water was coming out brown and dirty look like rust. I reported this and was told that the apartments were old that is normal. I told them that the apartment had nothing to do with the building being old it is the water heater. It needs to be flush or replace. The maintenance man at the time did not know what he was doing and it took another maintenance man from another complex to come over and drain the water heater. Tenants are walking there pets and not going in the designated areas. Poop is all over the place around the dumpsters bushes and grass. Kids are playing outside and this is unsanitary. To sum it up the toilet is temporary fix.The A/C is not fix I just have to deal with it until I leave. The upgrades are not worth paying the extra rent for.Pet poop all over the place

I currently live here, apartment we were shown the model and it was perfect, came down to signing and getting our apartment we wasnt allowed to see it before signing and paying, the rent is 900, so we get it and start moving in finding their so called repairs consist of caulking it seems to fix everything here, there was a previous leak, clearly water damage on the ceiling extra caulking everywhere looks like total crap, had a leak from shower leaking into the ceiling causing mold, call the manager they come out cut the molded spot out and patch ceiling back, didnt fix the leak, got to smelling a musty mold smell, got to digging and found the a/c return was standing in water, mold all over the return, pulled vent covers off to find more mold and insulation molded and swelled up from previous leak before we moved in, the management cant seem to find a reason to think theres mold they call it mildew, I called emergency maintenance and he came out last night and I showed him what I had found and he called it dust and wanted to CAULK the shower some more and said he smelled the musty smell as soon as he walked in but yet there isnt any mold, so beware of this place and think twice about renting here, I have contacted a lawyer and Im pursuing, my girlfriend her daughter and I have been sick for the whole time weve lived here, you can call the office and no one answers, you can go up there and nobody knows anything, so BEWARE!!!!

Awful place! We just left here the middle of April. This is a lot, so feel free to skim through.First off, we were lied to when we toured the place. Cornelius himself told us that all the apartments had washer and dryer hook ups. We specifically asked! So my husband and I moved all the way from San Antonio, Texas with a washer and dryer. We then find out when walking in the apartment that it had no hookups, after we had already signed the lease. Then the office would not even and try to accommodate us for their mistake and the assistant manager was rude as could be! Im so glad you treated a former(my husband) and current military member(myself) the way you all did!!!Second the washers and dryers they provide are always breaking and highly priced. Then they kicked everyone out of there for renovations. These said renovations lasted almost 5 months. So in the meantime we had to drive somewhere else just to do laundry. The other branch Ashford Cove is just as awful. The people that work in their office seem much better though.Their machines were even higher priced and constantly breaking.Third I was told when I toured the place, there would be a new gym in 6 weeks. I took this tour in July of 2016. The gym and laundry renovations were not done until March of 2017. It shouldnt take that long! Anytime we asked for a update, they had no answer for us and were rude about it. The renovations are a joke and the gym is ok. I got locked in the laundry room for 10 minutes and couldnt get out, thanks to the awful door they installed getting stuck. I was finally able to slam it open.4th the apartments need real updates. Everything in these are old as dirt! The laminated type floors they put in the updated apartments are a joke. They tear easily. The closet doors are awful. There was no lights in our bedroom or the living area either.5th there is a lot of bugs and I constantly heard other residents complaining as well.6th they constantly have people going in and out of your apartment. I didnt even receive a notice for two of the times. They would just start banging on the door in the morning and wake me up. The workers would try and use my outlets. I shouldve let them pay my electric bill too then!I wrote a lot, but thats the truth about this place. Ive heard a lot worse stories from other residents then mine. Like apartments flooding, ax constantly breaking, bees swarming their front door, etc. Every positive review on here I would question to be fake, just them trying to get their own reviews up.Spend a little more money and go somewhere nice, stay clear of here!
