We took our 40 Allegro Bus on the 2nd tour in 2018 and loved it. Definitely a once in a lifetime tour - although several of the travelers were on their 4th or 5th tour with him! Spike was super knowledgeable about the past and present Alaska. Each of the 24 campers were given a radio so we could be in continuous communication with Spike and the rest of the group. He also used the radios for information along the road about flora and fauna, plate tectonics, nephology, first nation clans, the stories of totem poles, Alaska history and much more. Everything was done for us, picking out the campsites, fuel stops, sightseeing, extra fun trips for glacier rides, sternwheeler rides, salmon bakes, jade factory, ulu tours, gold panning, shows, city tours, and much more. We highly recommend this tour and Spike had been doing it for over 25 years and clearly he loves it as well!
