Seemingly clean and updated, but service is so-so and quality of even a basic manicure is awful. This the 3rd time Ive been there. I had high hopes since they appeared clean and modern and had good reviews. However, the experience was not good and the manicure was awful.First off, they tf us to make a 2pm appointment and were 20 minutes behind. It was OK today, but what if I had plans? I was also very unimpressed since theyre appointment only and clearly rush through everything.Then, I had to get at home gel removed and the male technician clearly thought it was a waste of his time and let that attitude show. After that was done, he took a hand towel full of gel and nail scrapings and literally shook it off onto the floor. Then, when he had me wash my hands he just got up and took 10 minutes to clean pedicure chairs just because, he said sorry but clearly wasnt sincere.Finally, I had a basic manicure on natural bails with regular nail polish. It was awful. The tech just slapped layer after layer on without giving it any time to dry so I had this incredibly thick layer of polish that refused to dry for about 2 hours. I actually had to wait for a friend getting a pedicure and spend 30 minutes under the dryer, and it was still we enough that my fingerprint left an impression. It cost $15 for that, too.Sadly, Ive had a similar experience every time Ive went. I will not be going back and I do not recommend them.

This place is very clean! The recent remodel looks nice. (I thought it looked nice before as well) I have been getting pedicures and manicures here for about five years. I usually do about three visits per year. When I have a manicure, I choose shellac. I consistently get a solid two weeks out of them and only soak them off because of nail growth. Otherwise, they still look great. I have had several different techs do the work. I find their prices very reasonable and really enjoy their convenient South Anchorage location. I have gone with groups of up to three and been able to all sit together for pedicures. As a business owner, I completely understand the expenses and headaches of accepting credit cards and checks. Their cash only payment system does not bother me in the least. Just be prepared for it.

I came in a few weeks ago right as businesses began to reopen. I rushed to get there so they would be able to close on time. I was the only customer they had the entire hour, so I tipped generously, figuring they needed every dime.Today I called, and was told 4:30. Id already left the house when they phoned, asking me to move it to 5. I rearranged my schedule, and when I arrived, they left me waiting for 35 minutes. I just about walked out the door, but my feet were already wet and soaking. When I tried to express my frustration (even saying I understand these are stressful times) I kept getting sorry, sorry and the tech wasnt looking at me or even listening.Listen, I get it, the need to see as many customers as possible. I am self-employed. But you cant waste my time. I told her I still had work to do, and was now going to have a really long evening. Did. Not. Care.Since this is only my second time here, Ill be checking out other nail spas. If anything, businesses should be ON it right now re: service.

I can’t believe it!!!! Finally an amazing nail salon that does a perfect job in the state of Alaska!!!!!!!! The customer service is the best! The decor is beautiful!! My family was treated like royalty!!! Love you Sassy nails you have a loyal client for life!!! Oh wait forgot my nail look like a million bucks!!

Be very careful who does your pedicure or manicures at this nail spa. Most the gals are very gracious do a good job but the man in particular is arrogant and not so good. I would not recommend this place as they need to be educated on how to do pedicures and manicures if they want more business. The place looks clean and inviting but beware.

I was referred to Sassys by a fellow Yogi and stopped in to make an appointment for a spa signature pedicure. The staff and customers were friendly and I was greeted and addressed in a timely manner. My appointment was with Chandra, who made me feel welcome and comfortable, went iout of her way to chat with me, and gave me a fabulous pedicure. She suggested a manicure which I accepted as the pedicure was so great. The price for both was reasonable and the overall experience was a treat! Ill be back.

I’ve been here several times and always have a positive experience. The employees have always been nice and my color lasts a long time! I’m really active and wear sandals all summer, so that’s saying a lot!The only thing I don’t like is the cash only payment option.

I was not impressed with the quality and service. My nail tech was friendly but no thorough. I had a fill with two nail fixes and the tech didnt check the lengths and now I have nails of all different lengths. The tech also continued to work away on a nail after injuring me and me asking him to stop working on it multiple times. They are also cash only and more expensive than most other places Ive been in Anchorage. I regret not going to my normal place because they were booked up. Ill never make that mistake again

When Sassys first opened, they were spot on!. But over the years they ave gone downhill and gotten lazy. Today took the cake though to make me never want to never give them my business again. When you make appointments for 4 pedicures, days in advance, they should honor those appointments. Walked in for an 11:00 appt and every chair was full, and from where they were in their stages, they had at least 30 minutes to go. What is the point of making appointments?

Love the pedicure with parrafin treatment here! Ok... its not a warm desert spa, but it is a nice relaxing break.

The lady helping my daughter was so pushy and rude. She wasnt listening to what my daughter wanted (regular mail polish for her manicure - not gel nails). Will not be going back.😡

DO NOT GO HERE! Most expensive Shellac nails I have ever done and they did a HORRIBLE job. The lady I had wasnt prepared for her shift and she was upset about the color I chose because I am guessing it was a brand that wasnt easy to work with(which means DONT CARRY CRAP POLISH). Because of the choice in polish she had to do each nail one at a time, all 3 layers one.at.a.time, it was obnoxious and time consuming. On top of all of it, she barely spoke two words to me and filed my nails so short that it actually hurt, never asking if it was okay with me. After all of this I shouldve had beautiful nails but they were not, I could see my nail through the dark red polish I had picked out and they looked like they had been done by a child. I will not be using this company ever again and I recommend you do the same and STAY AWAY!!!

Worst customer experience Ive ever had. They messed up my daughters nails so I went with her and they didnt want to fix them. The second guy was very rude. Then the first guy started to pace around clenching his fists. I finally spoke up and the entire store heard me. They didnt value my daughters loyalty. Shes been going there for a while. This was too much though when the first guy started looking at my daughter like he wanted to start a fight.
