We send our pediatric patients here from the Alaska Native Medical Center often who get admitted for S.I and everytime a doctor says he/she will be transferring over there, they end up making a huge fuss or even break up in tears saying they do not want to go there. I may end up submitting a Joint Commission complaint for further inspection due to the reoccurrance numerous times with every patient I have seen.

DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!!ive heard story’s from people and they do not help they rely on meds for everything feel sad take meds can’t sleep take meds they also keep you there longer for the money even if your doing good and if your parents try to with draw you they threaten to press neglect charges their food is terrible and you find stuff in it ex: worms in the ice the staff is not great either giving unproscribed meds and using tranquilizers when not necessary

PLS DO NOT SEND ANYONE THERE! IVE HEARD THAT THEY STARVE THEIR PATIENTS SO PLEASE DONT!

Please don’t send your child here. I know I may sound just like an angry patient who didn’t like their stay, but I’m not, this place made my mental health worse.

Its supposed to be a place to help improve mental health but by past experiences I know that it only makes things worse they always physically restrain children whith the thought that it will solve something but it really doesnt
