Tremendous service. I was kept in the loop on everything that was going on (first time ever getting my ducts cleaned) and was given a ton of useful tips for home care too. They went the extra mile and even gave the vents some loving and they are looking brand new. Super friendly people and when I received the final bill I was shocked. Jay was absolutely fantastic to work with. Friendly and punctual. We had just moved into our house and realized dryer hookup was unsafe. Jay fit us into his busy schedule and did an excellent/clean job installing a new dryer and duct to outside. He has great depth of knowledge and took the time to explain the heating system, the work he was doing, and made recommendations about maintenance for the house generally. I really enjoyed talking with him and learned quite a bit. He provides exceptional service. We’ll be looking to the vent dr for all our vent/ducting needs in the future.

The Vent Doctor came to clean our dryer vents and check out forced air system. In the end, we didnt need any service because of the way the lines are configured, so there was no charge. We appreciate Jays honesty and time. Hes also great a communicating by text, which is convenient. Thanks!

I cannot say enough about Vent Doctors of Alaska. Great communication, easy quote and scheduling (booked out but worth the wait!) and fantastic service. Showed up on time and got to work promptly. They did an amazing job and cleared so much stuff out of our 30year old vents, worth every penny to be breathing clean air in our house.

I had an issue that Vent Doctor could not help me with. Instead of just saying no, Jay took the time to give me tips on how I could handle this problem myself - complete with providing links to websites with the information and products I needed. If Vent Doctors of Alaska have this level of customer service for someone that they are not making any profit from, I am sure their customer care must be off the charts. I am so grateful for Jays kindness.

I had a dryer installed by Lowes a few months and I started having problems with the vent. I called Jay at Vent Doctors and he was awesome! First off if you send a text he responds promptly. Secondly when he came to my house (showed up on time as scheduled) he realized the work would be a bit more involved. He moved around his schedule and was immediately able to fix my dryer. Not only did he fix it, during the process he showed me pictures and what he was going to fix. He would give me updates during this process. The entire time Jay wore a mask and was extremely professional. I highly recommend Vent Doctors- Jays work is super clean. Thank you Jay!

I highly recommend Vent Doctors. Jay was awesome. Took some time to get the appt( alot of business is a good thing) but worth it. Very nice and professional, explained everything that he was doing and why. It was a great experience. Use his service you will not be disappointed.

Jay and his assistant Ramon where prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, and personable. Like other reviewers Jay shared his knowledge of how to improve air quality within the home. We sought out their services for air duct cleaning and received a lot more in return. Jay made good recommendations and worked in a timely manner. He also recommended a service to clean in and around the washer and dryer. The process takes about 4 hours and is loud. If there are small children around it would be best to schedule this service around activities. We will definitely recommend their services.

I was apprehensive in reaching out to this business because some reviews mentioned difficulty in talking to someone.I sent a text message, got a reply and then called to get on the schedule. These guys are great. Came in for an estimate, stayed true to the cost and went above and beyond with some unforeseen hiccups during the work (removed a humidifier and sealed the hole in the furnace up, and had to spend extra time taking out a part the of the deck that was incorrectly built). I trusted them in my home alone with my pets for the job while I was at work, and they shuffled the pets around rooms so that they didnt get loose, and left the house cleaner than I left it. Reasonably priced as well, compared to other like services. 5/5 would recommend, and are trustworthy and fun to talk to guys!

Jay was extremely knowledgeable about his work. I really felt that he had my best interest at heart. He worked with my schedule, was punctual, efficient and cleaned up after himself.

This is a wonderful family-owned business! Jay came over and gave me a reasonable estimate on cleaning my forced-air system and explained the process. Then he returned and did the most amazing job ever! He was incredibly thorough and conscientious, even replacing some dryer vent tape that needed it. My ducts were extremely dirty and even though the job took longer than anticipated, he spent the time to make sure everything was thoroughly cleaned. He also gave me some tips to make my household environment more allergen-free for my family. This was money well spent and I wish I had done it years earlier!

Jay and his assistant arrived at my house, listened to my concerns, answered my questions and then spent the next couple hours finding and addressing issues with the vents and dryer hoses. They fixed all the items I was concerned about and found others I didnt even know existed. They were knowledgeable, thorough and professional while completing each task on my list. They were careful and respectful of my house and furnishings throughout the process. I have used this company before, I will use them again and highly recommend them and the services they provide.

They helped us save our home by noticing our dryer was on the cusp of a dryer fire and recommended us to a good service to fix the dryer. They also helped us by looking at our boiler and water heater. With a multi family home they made recommendations on how to fix and change some things so we get more for less money! I recently worked with Jay and his team on a large condo complex project. Not only were the dryer vents efficiently cleaned inside-out, they were able to quickly identify and address all the repairs that were discovered during the project. I received feedback from multiple owners & tenants commending their professionalism and expertise. Jay is also extremely prompt- the thoroughness and proficiency is much appreciated in this profession.

Customer service is lacking. I called them and it went to voicemail. They stressed multiple times thes best way to get a response is via text. So I texted them...never heard from them. I get it your busy.But dont say text for a quick response if your not going to live up to it.

Everytime i need cleaning on my dryer vent i always love to call vent doctor. They are not just good but they are the great and reliable vent cleaner in town. Vent doctor especially mr. Jay is very kind and gave us helpful tips on proper use our dryer and important to have a clean vent and the efficiency of our furnace to have a better run of air inside our house. Just finished utilizing the services of Vent Doctor, and I’d actually give 6 stars if I could! The crew were easy to communicate with to line up the job initially! Today, they showed up when they said, were very professional and knowledgeable, and did a great job! But the reason for a 6th star were all the little things! A recommendation to redo my dryer venting between dryer and wall, fixing a tile in the back of my fireplace, giving advice for duct sealing, taking shoes off in the house (a huge deal for me), and many other little nuances that exude customer service and pride of work and ownership of business qualify for a 6th Star! High highly recommend this crew for what could potentially be a life saving home service!!!

..........Old one:I just got off the phone with the owner on this business!I see people have pretty good experience with them when it comes to performance but I did not even have the chance to test them.I have a condominium with association company managing it and hired Vent Doctor to do vent inspection and paid for the entire project but due to me bring out of town and getting the notice on time Vent Doctor used the opportunity to send a double charge and billed me directly.I love to support local businesses but have hard time to respect and trust on someone who is using the opportunity to double charge .They were paid once from the association company and rejected to do the inspection on their schedule.I was willing to work with them but all they wanted is to change an additional fee.I am very disappointed and definitely would not recommend this company.Good business its not just good performance, good business is great communication with customers, understanding, compromising,fair treatment and respectful attitude....................................................................................................................Adding to my review08.13.17:Business clarified he was not paid for the job but every else I stand by it.He continued with insulting and inappropriate messages for 4 hours after nicely ask him to come finish the job he was assign to do.I wish I was able to post pictures here so you all can see the bad and inappropriate words he use towards a customer.
