Straight forward the owners of this place are mess and incompetent. They dont even know what they are selling .Answer for the response from owner : If you knew what you are selling the colors would match. Dont lie to people that I couldnt wait . You have no logical mind and no common sense so do not lie to people . You sell wrong material it is your responsibility to refund and your responsibility to pick up the material if you had a little common sense , Which you dont. You and your daughter need be ashamed.I bought redwood flooring as shown in pictures from this store , Alison Russell (daughter of the owner was the lady who sold it to me ) informing me that they have matching stair nose that I oreder that as well I asked for padding underneath the flooring and paint for redwood ,padding and stair noses in cash .She said they will be ready by Thursday. My contractor went there and only the redwood flooring was ready for pickup , no stair nose and no padding . The day after I had to go and pick up the stair nose and still no padding underneath .One of pictures shows the stairs nose and redwood color difference while I was told they have matching stair nose for the flooring I chose. This lady is incompetent as she doesnt even know what is she selling.I was mad as my contractor that I pay daily was there ready to work on stairs and there is no material. So I lost a week already because of their incompetence.She was supposed to inform me Monday morning if they could find matching stairs nose , I waited until 2pm and no call . I called the store and her dad ( the owner picked up) an done of his statement was , there is no logic here , it is what it is . And I said can you come pick up the material , he said no bring my material to get your money .In this proccess I lost almost 200 dollars for the transportation, at least a work day , another almost 1000 dollars for the contractor time and 1 week delay of home remodeling as well as hearing the nonsense and ton of stress and anxiety and this guys didnt dare to say they are sorry that they didnt know what they are selling and only blamed manufacturer .Please keep yourself away of this place, hassle and stress they will cause you .

We were very pleased with our experience at New York Carpets! We went on a recommendation from our realtor and couldnt be happier. Mike Tallon immediately helped us, hes not pressure sales at all, asked what we had in mind and helped us pick the perfect tile and carpet. We have new floors for our entire house. We even went back for some area rugs! The quality is really good and the installers were professional and clean. We get a lot of compliments on our floors! Ive read a couple of the bad reviews, which is not our experience at all, I suggest you definitely ask for Mike Tallon!

Great selection of quality carpet in every color. I needed blue carpet and they had it in stock! I was in, loaded up and out in 15 minutes!

Use them over 13 times and recommended them to client over 50....always great. Selection and prices are very competitive. The staff is very helpfully. If you need som remnants best shop for it. They edge scraps for runners too!

Mostly sells roll ends with firsts and seconds. A great place to buy higher end carpet for a lesser price if they happen to have what you like. Inventory rotates, but some lines are regular stock. You will be on your own for measurements if you are just buying carpet but they can connect you with installers.

Very nice when we were purchasing, but after we paid and the day of the installation arrived the disaster started. The installers were nice and did their job right, left a glue mark on my freshly painted wall and didnt do the carpeting on the area I had paid for, I had emphasized to the sales rep to do and they had measurements taken for. I called the day after and talked to a manager , very rude incompetent manager called Mindy if I remember the name correctly. she kept raising her voice and attacking me that I hadnt communicated. They had a map of my floor to carpet the area under question. But she kept attacking me and questioning my familys integrity and communication, probably to save the company a couple of dollars not to come back and complete their job. I just hung up thinking this is not worth my time. If you care about customer service and courtesy AFTER you pay, consider another company. This was the first time a person calling herself a manager was so rude and lacked professional skills to talk and troubleshoot an issue. I would say it probably cost the $70 to take care of the problem but they didnt want to.

Needed carpet QUICK for a room remodel that had to be done in two days. Large selection to choose from onsite. Very helpful & non-pushy sales rep who was able to fit me in for the installation window I needed. Do recommend them to anyone I hear who needs flooring and will use again when the time comes.

Don’t buy anything at this place. The sales rep and staff do not take responsibilities for anything. Once you pay they are hands off. Very rude and don’t care about your situation. We purchased flooring for our kitchen and bathrooms and the day that the flooring was installed we found out that they did not have all the material to complete the project. They had to order the rest of the material and when the material came in it was a totally different color and pattern!!! Both the sales lady and the office lady in charge of the orders...basically said that that it was all they had and cannot help us. They both assured me that because I was selling my house no one cares that the flooring didn’t match and or that no one was going to noticed! We went back and forth and after texts and calls at the end...they said that the company does not make the product that we needed it and there is nothing they could do. My husband insisted that we get some money back and we did at the end....a little bit just to cover the material that we needed to complete the project. The scary part is that we were going to order carpet for the entire house from them. Later, I found out that this is a cheap place to buy any flooring. It still bother me that they repeated to me that “no one will noticed” that the material that was needed to complete the project “no one will noticed” that it was a completely different color and pattern. The sales lady kept saying “it doesn’t matter...your are selling the place anyhow!”. Are you kidding me? I care. We were looking for something razonable to put in place. We were not looking for something cheap or missed match pieces just to save few dollars. We are honest people and will never deceive a potential buyer. Over all this carpet and flooring company does not care about customer service. They never tried to help me unless I talked harsh to them reminding them that they were on the wrong to sell a product to a customer when they did not have all the material available for installation. Bottom line: per them the company who they purchased the product from ...doesn’t even make (pattern and color) of what we needed to complete the project! So, why sell 90% of the product? When the other 10% doesn’t exist? I am embarrous for them. Never again. Don’t go to this store. They will smile at you until you pay the bill. Once paid they don’t care. Customer service: Zero!!!! after you pay for what you were supposed to get. Rude and un caring. If I could give them zero “star” I would. Btw this is the first time that I ever write any reviews in the internet. That is how mad they made us. Yes, New York carpet you suck. Pardon my French to the readers. Cann’t fool us. Read Customer Sevice 101. Deliver on your goods. We paid.

By far this is the best place to shop for carpet in Orange County I shopped all over for a lot of years as a property owner and for my own home the staff at New York carpets always treats me with great respect and you can usually count on getting $40 a yard carpet for $20 a yard or $30 a yard carpet for $12 a yard prices like this and Ive searched cant be beat
