All of the people at National Seating & Mobility were fantastic and super helpful! We are visiting from out of town, and our wheelchair suffered an ill-timed flat tire. Not only did they fit us in on 10 minutes notice, they had the replacement parts in stock and had us out the door in 20 min! Highly recommend these guys for their care and kindness!

Cannot get a call back. You can never talk to the same person twice. Voice Mail and were more frequently than a human and after seeing the facility, I cannot come up with a reason for their I dont care attitudes. At least 1 technician doesnt know what hes doing. I drove to them to get my chair. Theyre less than 10 miles away and couldnt give me a delivery day of less than 6 weeks. Unfortunately, thats who my insurance works with.

Incompetent and arrogant. My mother suffered a stroke last year and it is time to get a new wheelchair. The rep from National Seating & Mobility was scheduled to come to my mothers physical therapy appointment to assess her for the correct style/weight/features. The rep showed up (he is clearly a body builder who hates his (sales) day job) with a chair and approached me and my mother. We started asking questions about the chair and he told us he brought the wrong chair and that the only thing he could discuss today was the frame. Disappointing, since we waited WEEKS for this appointment. We decided to wait for the PT to join us before transferring into the chair and testing the frame. So, we asked about customization of brakes and single drive features. I asked if a certain cord was for the brakes and he said it was for power. THE IDIOT BROUGHT A POWER WHEELCHAIR.This meant we couldnt even test the frame because they are built differently. When we informed him that we did not need a power chair he said, Ive had this chair in my car for two days. This is the one you get to test today. Such poor attitude and customer service. He kept answering our questions by saying, you will only get what medicare allows. We informed him multiple times that we were willing to pay the difference out of pocket and Mr. BodyBuilder didnt seem to understand. He kept repeating, you will get what medicare pays for. Nothing more. Then he decided to treat us like we were stupid and told us, dont talk to me any more until the PT comes over here. I responded by telling him that - actually - we would NEVER be speaking with him again and that he just lost the sale. Then - to prove how classy he is - he went over tot he PT and bad mouthed us. The PT sent him away, of course, because he was rude and we are the customer. Then the PT apologized several times....but of course she shouldnt have had to. In summary: if you want a company that will be rude to a 70 year old stroke survivor in a wheelchair, then work with this company. Otherwise, STAY CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE. They are arrogant and will waste your time.

I am beyond disappointed with our experience with National Seating. I am appalled at the incompetence and lack of professionalism. My son, a newly injured quadriplegic, received his chair from National Seating through his Kaiser Permanente insurance. Since he is a Kaiser member, National Seating is his only option, and even more limiting, he can only work with the sole Kaiser designated representative in his area.We have experienced difficulty reaching the rep by phone. We have to call the branch office and leave a message. Sometimes the messages are taken by the scheduler who then relays it to the rep. Phone calls are rarely returned the same day, many times not at all. The rep seems to be protected by this “insulation” of communication. We have experienced long waits for appointments and then have had appointments cancelled at the last minute, by email, not even a phone call. Who cancels an appointment on the same day by email? We have experienced a substandard level of service beginning the day my son received his chair. Of course, when the chair was being ordered and when payment for upgrades was expected, the service was acceptable. However, once the chair was delivered it has been next to impossible to get it set up correctly. The issues include: inadequate and ill-fitting lumbar support, chair back installed incorrectly with one side mounted lower than the other, Velcro placed on wedge where it fails to make contact with the RoHo cushion, joystick too low for safe driving, left armrest too short where fingers hang off, right side armrest too narrow, and footrest set too low leaving heels raised and toes down. These things are all things that can be worked out to get a new chair “dialed-in” for its user, but considering that the chair was delivered on April 27 and it is now July 6, a full ten weeks later, and only one of these issues has been resolved, it would appear that our branch has no investment in customer satisfaction.I find it appalling that a company based on serving the disabled would essentially prey on this population while providing zero accountability and response. National Seating can get away with this only because my son’s insurance carrier uses them as the exclusive vendor of power wheelchairs and because often people who need wheelchairs have other issues to deal with that prevent them from speaking out against these practices. Consumers who have choices would never continue to do business with a company that treated them like National Seating has treated us.Sincerely,A Concerned Father

I am deeply disappointed with this company. If you have an option as to what company to buy your wheel chair with do not buy it from this company or have any business there. I purchased a wheel chair from this company 4 months ago the tires they gave me where the wrong tires that I ordered. They came and exchanged the tires with new ones and since they did I have has 9 flats. I called them to exchange the tires and have not heard from them. I have had to use my old wheelchair tires that have no thread on them because the new ones keep going flat. Ive even spoken to the supervisor there Tish Warden and she has done nothing to help. I also spoke to Kim Wooldridge and she was very rude and said that they where waiting on the manufacturer to get back to them. Its been 3 months and I have not received new tires and to top it off they took my Roho cushion that I purchased with the wheelchair 4 months ago because it also was giving me issues and told me that it was no longer under warranty. I called Roho and asked and they said that the cushions have 3 yr warranty. So finally they are sending my flat Roho cushion back to me. Please do not buy form this company save yourself the headaches. Oh and they only got one star because in order for this to post you have to rate it . They dont even deserve the one star
