I pretty much went through and emailed every single venue in Orange County. I was having your super typical Asian wedding, which meant I was going to need a high capacity venue. White House Event Center was pretty much the only venue that could accommodate my amount of guests and didnt cost an obnoxious amount of money.When we met with Mimi, I found that WHEC was going to be perfect. They had packages that included their in-house catering, but also had some where I would be able to bring in my own for the type of cuisine my family and guests would expect. We were able to bring in our own alcohol, with no corkage fee. The upstairs bridal suite was amazing, it was extremely spacious and comfortable.Throughout the whole process, Mimi was beyond accommodating of my requests in regards to certain traditions we had. We got married this past March and I had a 6-month engagement, meaning there was very little time to pull everything together. Mimi was incredibly helpful and communicated with me every step of the way to ensure everything went smoothly. She was also incredibly easy to reach, I sometimes would forget that I shouldnt text her so late at night when I had random questions.When it came to the day of, I had Adriana as my day-of coordinator and she was awesome. With the help of her and Mimi, the day (more or less) went by incredibly smoothly. I was extremely impressed with all the hard work they put in that day. I made all of my own decorations and floral, meaning Mimi and Adriana had to help put everything together to bring my vision to reality.I do have a similar complaint as others in regards to the location of the venue, it is located hidden away behind Adventure City. This make parking a little difficult when arriving early for set up, etc. I heard from several guests that finding the location was difficult since the sign for it isnt readily apparent, most people only notice Adventure City.Overall, everything went well and Im pleased with how everything turned out and everything Mimi and Adriana did for us to make the day as amazing as possible.

This place is beautiful! My two cousins had their quinceaneras here, about 6 years apart and both times were amazing. The white house serves as an entrance point for the guest. Upstairs are some private rooms for the special guest to get ready. The main room has a shower and restroom and the second room serves as a extra changing room. Both spacious. They have an outdoor area were they set up for the ceremony and the reception takes place in a venue across the outdoor area. The out door area is simply beautiful. The reception venue is just as beautifully decorated as the rest of the place. The only thing I would like to point out is that the venue is shaped rectangular. Not necessarily a bad thing, but just something to definitely be aware of.

Shocked by how cute of a venue this is. A friends wedding was here and it was quite lovely. Food was good. Servers were very efficient. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, this is the place to be.

This is a secret place to most, but it has one of the best venues Ive been too. And Ive been to many weddings. They cater to every possible idea and needs that a bride and groom would want. Not to mention that their event center has indoor and outdoor options for the marriage ceremony. Theres a upstairs private suite where the bride, bridesmaids, groom, groomsmen, and family can dress up and prepare the the wedding. The reception venue is adjacent to White house, separated by nice garden patio where guests can hang out and have cocktails. The venue itself is customizable to the decor and design that bride and groom desire. Theres a big dance floor for hundreds of guests. If the couple decide to add to their plan, theres is also a glass dance floor with lit up crystal roses underneath that is absolutely beautiful. They offer a variety of entrees and sides for feeding the guests that are great tasting and customizable to what the couples want. They offer DJ service as well or BYO-DJ. They offer all types of colours for table cloths through a third-party vendor. All in all, they give great service, have great event mangers that facilitate planning of the wedding day, they help the wedding run as smooth as possible, and most of all they really care that you have a very memorable day with all your loved ones. Shout out to Omar! He is a great event coordinator!

I visited here a few weeks back and I do say the services was great

The first thing on our to-do list was to look for the perfect venue. We were looking for a place of an elegant feel, modern style, cost-effective, and can handle a large Asian family! Our first visit at The White House Banquet, we thought it was going to be way over our budget. Mimi gave us a tour and gave us a breakdown of costs. Mimi was always helpful especially with all the millions and repetitive questions I had. She worked with us patiently and reminded us of the costs. Communication is also another important factor. The venue and all other vendors I hired were all on the same page and they made sure to communicate with one another in advance and day of. Some cons that I know I cannot change but just like to put it out there... if you have Asian style wedding, you cannot leave your Hennessy bottle on the table, but that wasnt a deal-breaker because Mimi recommended giving my dad his own alcohol server that carried shots and follows him around so it all worked out! Perhaps only from my perspective and I wasnt able to control what happens on the day of the wedding but I felt like the day of coordinator was not entirely useful. I met my day of coordinator once or twice prior with short conversations. I felt if she was more involved along the way, it would have been better. What I love about the venue is that the upstairs family area. There was a changing room for the bride and groom separately, lounge chairs and tables for family members and the private ambiance away from the crazy wedding downstairs. The one thing that I was uncomfortable with was the security guard. He was supposed to prevent strangers from going upstairs because we have personal items there but it seemed like he was letting anyone in. As for the garden area, I didnt get to enjoy it as much but I saw the pictures and it was so lovely especially at night. My wedding included the main house, garden and dining hall with 300 guests, 30 tables, with 2 tables as a backup. I had the sweetheart table and the crystal dance floor. We were hesitant about adding the dance floor to the package but it was the best decision made! Everyone loved it! I love the idea of BYOB, it definitely gave more control of your guest intake of alcohol. Overall, I want to thank you Mimi and all staff for all their efforts in making this happen. We cannot be happier with the outcome and have a lot of memories to share with our friends and family.Love,Daro and Van

I attended a wedding at this venue last night, hall is nice. Unfortunately, this hall does not allow people with heels to be on the dance floor. The security guard made me take my high heels off. Even men with dressing shoes that had a small heel had to remove their shoes. I thought it was so weird and uncomfortable.

We had our wedding there last night 3/8/19. And it was completely amazing. The staff made sure we took care of everything before our event. We had a couple of little hiccups with other vendors, but the staff at the venue took care of things and kept it moving. We needed stuff moved and Omar took care of it.

My fianceé (now wife) and I were scouting for the perfect venue. We wanted something that was extraordinary, beautiful and spacious. We looked all over Los Angeles and Orange County, some places were nice but were missing some key amenities like parking and food. Low and behold we found out about The White House Event Center. This elegant venue has everything you could imagine! Let me please start with the people that make this place so special. Jovan and Mimi are outstanding and remarkable individuals who cater to your wedding needs. They treated us like we were their first and only clients and loved their honesty and hospitality. They guided us with professionalism and were genuine, they showed us all the different options and locked in our wedding date and price. Keep in mind we were 2 years out, they were flexible with payment plans and each time we came in to make our payment they always asked if we needed anything or had concerns. Mimi went above and beyond to make sure our wedding photo booth was perfect by crafting a unique design for us by using our wedding invitation card as a design.The Venue: The White House has a beautiful reception area on the 1st floor that allows guests to relax, have refreshments from their excellent in-house bartender and delicious hors d’oeuvres. It’s lovely and open and allows guests to find a nice space to mingle and take photos. The 2nd floor is open and elegant. This area allows both the bride and groom and their respected parties to get ready before the ceremony. We had at least 20 people upstairs including hair, make up and catering and we didn’t feel confined or limited. I would recommend booking the early access, this allows you more time to get ready without feeling rushed. I believe we arrived at 9:00AM and their staff (Aleyda & Guillermo) were already there ready to help us with our alcohol and decorations for the evening.The Ceremony: We had paid extra for the Day of Event Coordinator - Omar, is fantastic at keeping everyone aligned as well as attending to our needs. He consistently checked up on us and our wedding party and made sure that we were seated and had dinner served to us first. He made sure everything ran smoothly as well as timing for when the bride and groom would walk down the aisle. If you don’t have a Day of Event coordinator or are hesitant on hiring one, I would highly recommend their service. You’ve already invested your time, money and energy. You deserve to enjoy your beautiful day without issues and added stress.The Reception: Absolutely stunning, When you first walk in you’re greeted by beautiful flowers that were sourced and designed by their in-house florists. We had the center setup as the dance floor and it was plenty of space to have everyone dancing. Our wedding had a total of 120 guests and everyone enjoyed their time and commented on how gorgeous the reception was. Their lighting system is setup so that it can match the theme of the evening as well as music.The Food: My favorite part was being able to sample all the delicious foods and selecting them with my wife before the wedding. All their selections are exquisite and gourmet, there is something for everyone. My guests were treated with unlimited and delicious food the Nguyen way of course.Thank you again to: Mimi, Jovan, Omar, Aleyda & Guillermo - and staff.An amazing and unforgettable moment, We will forever remember this day and everything The White House Event Center did for us. Beautiful and elegant place, service and quality great

I did not have my wedding on my original date due to breakout of Covid-19 (and venue shutting down on my wedding week). They offer me a postponed date which I accept, and as my 2nd date approaches I do not want to continue with the wedding due to safety concerns/impacts of covid-19. I ask for another postponement or a smaller wedding at a lower price, but venue denies me and tells me I must continue on with my wedding amid the pandemic in the same terms as originally signed on contract, or cancel and lose the thousands I already paid to the venue. Sadly I had to cancel as I did not want to put my guests in danger, and it would make no sense paying full price for a wedding that would look nothing like what I had originally signed up for in the first place. Venue was fine with keeping my money while I lost my wedding. I moved my date once when they could not host my wedding (I dont know why they talk like they did me a favor by offering me a different date when that should be the right thing to do), but they could not move my date once more when I needed it. I feel like they made up new rules along the way as deemed best for their venue and only looked out for their own interest (and money). They even made me sign that I wont sue them and speak negatively about them to cancel my wedding! Insult to injury! Im here cancelling my money and wedding away and you shove this paper at me? Why is signing this a requirement to cancel my event? Is this your scare tactic to censor negative reviews? I regret setting foot in their facility and choosing them as my venue.

Maybe my memories of the Bronx Zoo are tainting my opinion of White House Banquets & Event Center, but most of it with the exception of the childrens zoo and the exhibit at the right of the entrance with the giraffe, zebra.. seemed sort of sad. Didnt really enjoy it as much as I had hoped!

Had my wedding here. Omar and Mimi are very helpful. Extremely professional. The venue is just gorgeous inside and out. The restrooms are extremely nice and clean. All of the staff is great. Loved the security guards at our wedding, they were professional yet strict and polite. Plenty of free parking for guests and this venue can fit hundreds of guests. I can Express how amazing this place is.

My wife and I could not think of a more perfect location for our wedding. Not only is the White House such a beautiful venue, but their staff is top notch. From the beginning of the process The White House Banquet and Event Center showed us the upmost respect and servitude. Every question we had was answered properly and they made the process of planning a wedding so easy and simple. My wife and I are so thankful for Mimi and the rest of the staff at The White House Banquet and Event Center. I highly recommend them for any wedding/event you have coming up in the future.

Wow! Delicious and friendly, professional service. Make sure to have a beverage on the bar deck. Relaxing and inviting up there. Dont be fooled by the businesses surrounding - this is an embedded gem. Try the braised beef entree, melts in your mouth.

This venue is a little hidden from the main road and is in back of Adventure City. It has ample parking, beautiful outdoor space, and gorgeous spacious interior. The outdoor patio was a perfect place for a ceremony and cocktail hour. Its even more stunning at night when the string lights are on. The food was delicious and the bartender was great. The staff serving dinner were attentive and wonderful. If youre looking for a venue to hold a birthday, company party, wedding, or any other event, Id recommend looking into this event center.

Amazing lounge to chill and have drinks with friends! Good service and drink options! They have $1 oysters through 7pm because of the happy hour!

Venue is beautiful and the staff are fantastic! From day one, they listen to what you’re envisioning and make it a reality. I can’t imagine another venue being this accommodating in making sure your day is special and tailored to you. The packages are reasonable and they work with you, so you feel comfortable and in good hands for your big day! Nothing is more important than having peace of mind that someone else has got it under control and with your best interest in mind!

I officiated a wedding for my friend here. The venue was amazing. We had the ceremony outside under a gazebo. The quarters where we got ready were classy and clean and private. Great catering great bar. I love the dance floor! It was kind of a glass floor with cool roses deigns underneath! I think this venue has versatility for whatever you need. Shoot, I might have my wedding if I get married lol. Check out the website. I think it has good pictures. My friend says it was a great deal too.

Top notch staff. Party of 250 was handled expertly. Food was delicious and well presented. The prime rib had a glorious crunch on the outside and was still pink in the middle. I didnt see all of the plates, of course, but it seemed pretty consistent. Security was personable, efficient, and not obtrusive. The venue is a treat. Reminds me of any major destination when it was just starting. It has a charm and an earnestness that appeals. All the staff and contributors were cheerful and helpful. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Our wedding was September 29th, 2018 so this review is a long time coming. Anyway I came to view the venue since I had one booked already but realized we were not going to be able to fit all the guests we wanted, from that moment on , Mimi was the absolute best. She was very understanding to our situation and was extremely helpful. The process from then until the wedding was smooth from their end. She was more helpful than the outside coordinator I had hired. During the process Jovan was also helpful and kind. The day of the wedding Mimi and another coordinator ( sorry her name is escaping me!) were there in the morning making sure all the decor was up and everything else was running smoothly. Overall we had a great wedding thanks to the wonderful staff at the white house!

The White House Event Center is great. It’s so great we decided to have our wedding there that’s coming up in 2018. I attended a few events there and the food and service are always excellent. The staff is friendly and the whole place is just beautiful.

My daughter was 8 years old when we were leaving Adventure City and she said to me I want my Quinceañeara there pointing at the White House Banquet Hall. On March 17, 2019 she celebrated her 15th Birthday there. The hall exceeded our expectations from the private suite to the glass dance floor everything was perfect. Our guest were very pleased with the dinner we had served. The year prior leading to the event I worked with Jovan and Mimi, they were amazingly helpful. My most sincere thanks to the full staff that made this event so memorable.

Nice place just little things before you set up your party the air conditioner isn’t enough for one party for more 200 people many times in the night we felt exhausted because was super hot, the prices is higher but the service is good and one big detail if you want to dance on the cristal floor need to use not shoes or tennis they are rude if you wants to dance there

OMG! This place is amazing! I attended my friend, Robin’s, wedding there. And it was so much fun. The outdoor ceremony was gorgeous, then we moved to cocktails and appetizers right next door in a sick lounge and finally dinner was served in the hall. The fact we didn’t have to move venues between the ceremony and the reception was great, the food was delicious and the dance floor was bumping. To top it off they have an amazing photo booth, so I didn’t worry about having my phone on me all the time to get great photos. Robin said, Jovan and Evelyn were great and treated her like family! I’m already married but if I wasn’t this place would be top of my list in So Cal.

Very nice place for family events, well staffed and organized.

8k for 100 people and they couldn’t even leave the Ac on in the dressing rooms. Rooms get locked after your ceremony. Chairs were not put out for guests standing at the ceremony. There is no structure for that money you pay. I rather have my next big event in LA.

Went for my cousins wedding and was told i couldnt come in because they were at max capacity only to find out 13 minutes later that they are allowing 50 more people. Really didnt liked be lie to and having to waste my time driving all the way over there. Looks like a great place ,but didnt like the service.

My husband and I got married at the WHEC this year in April and from start to finish Jovan and Mimi made the experience incredible! Planning a wedding can be stressful alone and especially planning one out of state but they made sure they walked us through every step of the way without physically having to be there and made the entire process as stress free as possible. We were lucky enough to have family be able to meet with them when necessary, and they were very accommodating in doing so. I cannot thank Mimi and Jovan enough for going above and beyond in making our dream wedding come true, we were not able to see the venue until literally the day before our wedding during rehearsal and I fell in love! So you can only imagine how blown away we were when the big day came and our vision came into a reality. I wish I could relive this day over and over again! They truly exceeded my expectations and gave us the wedding We’ve always dreamed of!
