Friendly staff, great atmosphere feels like a Man Cave you can even have a beer. Definitely will be back. Walked in the Friday after Thanksgiving and they were open they welcomed me in and I immediately loved the shop, two what seems to be 55 big screen TVs with a college football lots of sports memorabilia and a lot of American pride. The haircut was to the point especially with 30 something years of experience but I was more impressed in how professional and friendly they are. I live in Wilmington but I will make the drive out just to enjoy it again.

Ive known Dan and Marta for more than 10 years. They are wonderful people. I must say you get a home-y vibe when youre in here. You can really feel the welcome from them. My boyfriend has been getting his haircuts here for as long as I can remember (10+yrs). A few years back my sister donated her hair to charity and Marta did the honors of cutting her hair for her absolutely free of charge for the great cause. If youve never been here youll love this place. Aside from great people the haircuts are PERFECT. They are also great with kids haircuts.

The Lounge is a great addition to Big Daddys Barber Shop. I had a pedicure by Christine that was top notch. Christine is professional, efficient and very friendly. My son has picture day coming up Friday. Not knowing where to take him, I decided on big daddys as it was nearby and reviews were decent and great. I didnt call in an appointment, just walked in with my kids. We werent even in the door and Dan was putting a seat booster on his chair and asked my son to take a seat. We were out within minutes. My son looks as handsome as ever. Best service so far. Shop was welcoming and pleasant. I will be coming back. Thank you so much.

Amazing! Marta re-educated me on my how to properly comb my hair and gave me an awesome haircut. They really know what they are doing. Very kind and professional people. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been coming to this barber for almost 10 years and it’s amazing to see how much their shop has changed over time. You are greeted and welcomed by the wonderful owners, Marta & Dan, each time. They try their hardest to make it enjoyable for all ages and succeed in doing so. I’ve never had another barber and I don’t plan to for as long as this barber shop is around. They recently added a mani pedi area in the back which is an amazing addition to their barber shop. I was told by Marta that the area is aimed a little bit more towards men so that they have a place to feel comfortable when wanting to get manicure or even a pedicure.Again, I highly recommend this barber shop. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been going to Marta for 12-13 years. Best barber and some of the best people I know. Now, I take my 1 year old son and he loves her too. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, you just don’t get people and barbers like this anymore. It’s like walking in the door to your own home.

I enjoyed hanging out in the Lounge at Big Daddys Barber Shop. I had a great manicure and pedicure with Christine while waiting for my husband and son who were getting the haircuts with Marta and Dan. Big Daddys Barber Shop is the only place they go for haircuts and now I can get a bit of pampering while I wait for them😊 I already have an appointment booked with Christine for another Mani/Pedi in November.

Went to the Barber shop on 10-29-19 I usually have marta or dan cut my hair but they were not there today, so I decided to give the older Asian lady another chance because the drive is a ways for me. I always get the same cut a # 8 on top graduating to a #2 on bottom well she screwed it up again top is deff not a #8 and one side might be a #2. I like the barbers there except for the older Asian lady well to make a long story short I guess ill have to find a barber closer to home that wont screw up my hair.

Dan and Marta are the best Barbers around. My Husband and Daughter have been coming here for years for their monthly haircuts and we have always had the best experience. Excellent customer service and great atmosphere especially now that The Lounge has beenadded. My daughter and I tried it this past Saturday for a mani/pedi with Christene and it was a very relaxing and comfortable experience.

I went there earlier today. I asked the “barber” for a low taper and he didn’t even give me a low taper. He gave me something that looks like a high fade. Plus they don’t even do line ups, what barbershop doesn’t give lineups? They don’t even try or put effort into their customer’s haircuts, those “barbers” just go through the motions. No effort at all.

They were not open during my appointment time with them, they did not notify me that they would be closed so Martha or whoever works here enjoys wasting peoples time, disappointed

Ive had three different people that work there cut my hair, and all of them did a great job! Prices are definitely​ reasonable, and wait times seem to go by quickly due to the great conversation and sports TV.My only regret is not finding this little gem of a barber shop sooner.

This place is right down the street from my house. I usually have my wife cut my hair because the price is right, but she was out of town so I decided to give this place a try. Dan was very friendly and did a great job. I might start having him cut my hair from now on.

So I dont know what happened, but my hair was cut so poorly I dont think Im going to come back. I believe her name was Sophia. I have my hair in a comb over all the time, but the way she cut my hair, the top of my head is completely uneven. My top right is less than an inch and my top left is about 4 inches long. No idea what she was trying to do but it looks awful...
