My wife and I did two Lux Bus tours from Anaheim last week and they were great! Our bus driver Alex was very knowledgeable about all the areas we toured, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend Lux Bus America to anyone considering a tour in the Anaheim area going to Hollywood or any other place! Alex you made the tour a great experience! we had an amazing, fun time!

Do not book with Lux Bus!!!Hopefully they will fix this issue immediately and then I can change my review. Currently, I think Lux Bus is a scam! I booked a one day tour for a friend. When she arrived on Friday for the tour, they made her pay cash because she didnt have my credit card with her. They then proceeded to charge my credit card as well.Do not book with Lux Bus!

I recently traveled to the USA with my father inlaw. Lux America was used by the tour company Riviera. I would like to send my full gratitude to the driver Greg for his full professionalism through out the tour for which we travelled a total of 2447 miles in all. You have very professional driver Greg who worked hard and is a true credit to your company. Thank you

We had it.... Anaheim to LA tour...July 27 2016GoodCovers the transportation cost for the round trip ......probably pick you up from your hotel. Good Narrative tour...BadAC in the bus is weird wont work when need...would freeze you when donot need.. A weird annoying sound while driver narrated all the time. Bus was not open so you will miss somethings especially if you are sitting in the end....buses are old and also little unclean .. Will have proper photo taking opportunity only at two stops/ places

We were forced to use them for a school charter trip. More expensive then the charter we wanted to use. The drivers got lost and arrived late. Not too responsive when you need customer service. Be sure to check all your options before you try and use them. Buses were clean and the drivers were nice. I still dont know how you can get lost when you are following each other.

I rode the bus to Las Vegas on the 3rd, and back to L.A. on the 11th.Bonnie the attendant made the trip up a great one, George the driver did a good job too.On the return ride Sonja and Robert helped to make good trip out of one that could have beenless than fun. There was a traffic accident that blocked Hwy 15 for a long stretch. The option of Music or Movie sound is a wonderful extra. They ran two entire first run movies on each trip, the distraction is a pleasure that you do not get on an airplane. Something else you do not get is felt up, searched, have your nail clippers taken away, and dealing with delays. Once on the plane you get squashed and ignored.Nothing like that ever happens with Lux Bus America.

Yoli the driver was the worst, take this tour if you want to nap all day! She spent the whole tour telling us where to get the best chicken dinners lol and her celeb knowledge was about 20 years out dated. She slowed as she showed us where “Grant Hughes” had been caught with a trans hooker (I think she meant Hugh Grant). The worst part is on the second stop we were 6 minutes late getting back from the bus, (yes I know the people who get back on the bus last are the worst but blame the slow Starbucks employees at the farmers markets who literally took 20 minutes to make a cup of coffee) and she shamed us in front of the whole bus as if we were children being put on a time out. She then went on to stress 7 times that at the next stop we were all to be back at the bus at a certain time no excuses. Ego bruised, I understood it was inconsiderate to make others wait so at the next stop we made sure we were there 10 minutes early. Yolie was 10 minutes late! She didn’t apologise or offer a reason or excuse. Absolute waste of money and time I didn’t enjoy one bit of this tour and it’s my biggest regret on our USA holiday. Don’t do it! Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

A letter to Lux Bux Anaheim:On Aug 5 at 7 am, we were picked up at our hotel, the Howard Johnson Anaheim and taken to your Anaheim office where we then boarded a beautiful, new double decker bus to Universal Studios. The bus was gorgeous...comfortable...and we enjoyed the trip very much.Although it was very early, and we were tired, I actually very much enjoyed listening to our driver (I dont remember his name), as he explained to us all of the sights on our way to Universal. He was VERY cordial, friendly, pleasant and informative!! I wish I knew his name so I could tell you how AWESOME of a job he did. I hope you can look it up - Aug. 5 - 7 am-7:30 am to Universal - and please let him know what an outstanding job he did.One thing he STRESSED before we got off the bus at Universal Studios, was that we HAD TO, HAD TO be ON the bus, not just getting there, but ON THE BUS at 7 pm SHARP as the bus WOULD be pulling out of the parking lot at 7 pm SHARP. He said that the driver (not him, but a different driver) will not wait and if youre not on the bus at 7 pm, you would have to take a cab back to Anaheim at the charge of $120.Believing that he was serious, pretty much everyone - over 80 people, were ON the bus at 7 pm. We got there at 6:45 pm, to be sure we did not miss it.Well, 7 pm came and went...7:05...7:10...7:15...nothing. We sat there. Finally a cranky and unfriendly driver came up to the top and very impersonably told us to just be patient and dont complain as I think we were still waiting for someone???? He was hard to understand with his thick accent, but he was NOT very nice! Finally, I think some late people did get on the bus. We left at 7:20 pm. We were NOT impressed!! There was NO explanation, he did not say one word over the intercom and we had no idea why we were so late.If we were waiting for latecomers, that was totally unfair to the rest of us. What happened to the promise that the first bus driver made?Anyway, kudos to the first bus driver who was pleasant and friendly and gave us an enjoyable trip.Thumbs down to the evening driver: unfriendly, cranky and LATE!

We bought the Anaheim to Universal Studios transit for our family. We were supposed to picked up at 7, but the driver did not arrive until 7:15. Check in number 1 is here. Another passenger asked the driver to wait because her husband went back to go to the bathroom. Although, he was pleasant about picking them up on the way back, we then picked up another family at a different hotel, whose boys were joking and trying to laugh with him- not a chance that was happening! It was painful to watch this man completely ignore these boys as they were getting on the bus. As everyone got off the bus, they said thank you with his response of, yep. When we got to the bus terminal, we had check in number 2 again at the office. We were supposed to have departed by 7:45am, but waited for the bus for another 30 minutes beyond that. Then check in number 3- we departed at 8:25, 40 minutes late. The driver was sweet, and had a couple things she pointed out along the way. She also let us know, we needed to be back at 7pm for departure. And she would leave whether everyone was there or not. We did not arrive at Universal until 9:40, so our 10 hours at the park was slimmed down to 8 hours 20 minutes . Lines were already at 65- 120 minute waits by the time we got there. I called to ask for alternative transportation home since we did not arrive on time, but were leaving at 7 on the dot. The call rep hung up on me, so I sent an email with no response. I will give credit to the bus driver in that we did leave exactly at 7. When we got back to our hotel, I called viator, who we bought tickets from, and they sent over a request for partial refund. I then received an email from their service department saying, because the publication says the 10 hours is an approximate time, they would not refund~ 100+ minutes is time approximate? I emailed and called again. Lux would not even discuss it, but viator refunded the entire trip~thank goodness for their great customer service, but Lux, you are forever banned from anything my family will ever do again! I will share this story as many places as possibe. Poor website, poor communication, poor customer service, and inefficient processes make this experience a one star everytime.

A really cool way from Orange County to Las Vegas. If you ever want or need to get to Las Vegas and dont or cant drive there, you should consider giving Lux Bux a try. Lux Bus is a luxury bus that goes from the GardenWalk in Anaheim to Las vegas. It stops at two different hotels for pick and drop. It has huge seat, televisions, and Wifi. The buses are really clean. The drive is very reasonable. It was $99 round trip when I used it (2016).When I travelled, the parking is included in GardenWalk if you are taking the Bus but you should confirm this if you plan on leaving a car there.

1/10/15 I had the pleasure of taking LUX Bus from Anaheim to Las Vegas. i felt like i was in a limo! The bus is immaculately clean - Jose/Driver is very clean cut & professional and Sonia/Attendant is very accommodating and professional. They show complimentary movies, serve snacks & drinks and it was truly the best bus experience i have ever had. it was relaxing/enjoyable - i didnt feel like cattle being herded onto a bus or airplane. I highly recommend LUX Bus to everyone for the most enjoyable ride to Las Vegas they will ever have.

I am writing this review while sitting on the bus (round trip from Vegas to Anaheim and back).First problem: fuel surcharge is cash only, even if youre at their main terminal in at the counter where they do their business. Inconveniencing customers for what? Making me pay $5 to get out $2 of cash? Absolute BS. This alone is enough to make me hate their management and choose one of the hundred other modes of transportation. I had cash on my way from Vegas to Anaheim so it wasnt a problem, and they didnt collect until we were already moving so idk what they would do if I didnt have the cash on me.Problem two: weve been waiting 30 minutes past the scheduled departure time, with a full bus and no AC, for two people who are late. Terrible management practices. On to the bus ride... Right as I started to write this... The seat in front of me started sliding backwards as we were accelerating. Apparently there are locking mechanisms on the emergency rows and the seat in front of me was unlocked. If it happens to you, just push down on the red handles with your foot and it should fix it. Doesnt seem very safe though.I prepaid for a round trip from Harrahs in Vegas to the Garden Walk in Anaheim. Boarding at Harrahs was really easy. Self parked, took the elevator down to the bus loading zone, handed the driver my bag and told the attendant my name. She said I was free to board, and basically the whole back half of the bus was open (on Wednesday). On the way back to Vegas on Monday morning the bus is full and theres assigned seating. Its basically a regular bus. It has big tinted windows and soft seats. The seats arent really luxury with the arms being adjustable hard plastic though. The leg room is just like a regular coach class seat on a plane. Theres also a small 12 TV tray on the seat backs. Im 510 and my knees are touching the seat in front of me without it being reclined. It should be a fun 5 hours. There are headphone outlets next to the power outlets below the windows, so if youre the aisle seat your cords would have to reach over the person in the window seat. On the way back though the seats apparently dont have power outlets. My phone will likely be dead before arriving because I was expecting outlets. The headphone outlets are in the backs of the seats in front of you.Our attendant (Marley) is great (same lady both ways). She was having trouble with someones card not going through and rather than kicking the person off or getting frustrated she kept trying for them and got it figured out. Shes also fun, talking about how shes excited about Halloween. The drinks are listed on their website, but just says beer and wine. The beer is bud light and the wine is so sweet its almost fruit juice according to Marley. I didnt try it though. Given the other inconveniences (fuel surcharge and no outlets) and discomfort (5 hours assigned airplane style seating) the drinks definitely cant entice me to use this company again.

Worst service we have had in the USA. We get picked up from our hotel then transported to a central depot to go Universal Studios from Anaheim. We were forced to wait for an hour in an non-airconditioned bus as the driver waited for 2 people who were running late. Turns out they were on the bus the whole time it is just their systems are so bad. As a result we missed an hour + of Universal Studios. I would be using any other company than this one!
