This happened in fall of 2019, but I was recently reminded to share my experience.I was told they couldn’t rotate my tires or balance my wheels because my “wheels are rusted”. I have aluminum wheels, aluminum does not rust. The VW dealership was able to provide these services the same day, and I have had brake fixes and rotations/balancing done multiple times in other locations since then.I know this all happened awhile ago, but I will never return.

These people are so very nice and friendly! Especially the girl who works at the front desk. I wish I got her name to mention her specifically. I was having a problem with there being a delay upon start up, like the engine was not going to turn over. They checked my battery, starter, and charging power all for free! There ended up not being a problem, i just need to drive the car more often, or for a longer distance. (It only gets driven once a month). Awesome!!

It was my birthday today and whT better place to celebrate but Chuckanut Manor. They went through a building remodel in 3/21. The view and ambience is still wonderfully intimate, but the improvements in the entry and public bathrooms is very appreciated.. service was wonderful.. my husband ordered halibut and chips and they were perfect.. grilled Ceasars, and bat scallops were delicious. The bar is still wonderful with great cocktail choices. Nice birthday evening.

These guys do a nice job here. I’ve been coming here for the last 20 years. I’m not sure of the guys name but he has worked here for a long time (he has red hair). Unfortunately he has been doing the work of three guys. He is always super friendly and great at his job! I have noticed that this place has had a shortage of employees working on the inside for quite some time now. The wait for help can be lengthy and this is no fault to the men who work here. I give him 5 stars and the owner 3 for long waits. I don’t know how the guys here do it but there mechanical services are very satisfactory and vehicles are finished in a timely order.

Told 1 hour to get to fixing my leaky tire, left after waiting 2 hours, half hour after told “you’re next” some of us aren’t retired and have busy days, you need to have more accurate communication- there are other options!

Got a flat in anacortes, called les schwab, gentleman named jeremy came. Pulled the tire, took it back to the shop. Replaced my broken valve stem. And was back within 10 minutes of removing the tire. Including intial call and back on the road was about 1/2 hour,. Very professional group in anacortes. Thank you

Nice staff, made an appointment for winter tire swap using same wheels, took about 70 mins and cost $87 w/tax. Waited in the lobby, Saturday afternoon stayed fairly busy but not swamped. Plan to go here again as needed.

I was treated with respect, patience and care - Jeremy helped me make the best decision for my personal circumstances and helped me read my owners manual, explained how the sizing numbers worked for me, and helped me find a full set of used tires that worked for my vehicle without ever making me feel pressured to buy new or spend more. This was my second experience with the Anacortes location in over a 10 year period, and my 4th with Les Schwab as a company since first using them over 20 years ago. It is service like this each time I come through these doors that will keep me coming back to Les Schwab for as long as they continue trustworthy and respectful business practices.

We had some tire damage before our long drive home. We weren’t able to get an appointment but they still got us right in and fixed the tire in the time promised. Waiting room and bathrooms were sparkling clean. Technician who fixed our tire damage also fixed a previous temporary patch from another shop. Friendly and polite. Highly impressed by this shop and it’s people.

This store is always on top of keeping things clean and updated. I am a window cleaner and often at this location to do so & I have always seen the employees happy to help with smiling faces. They have even gone out of the way to get my Subaru in for a quick tire rotation while Im washing windows. I would recommend Anacortes Les Shwab without hesitation.

Had a flat tire when I got off work, put some air into it to just get to Les Schwab. Got there about an hour before they closed and they got me in and patched my tire for free. Only took them 30 mins even though they were pretty busy. Very happy with the experience. After all the bs I’ve dealt with with discount tire, this will be the place I get my next set of tires from.

Good people who do a good job on tires and such. Its nice to have a shop like this here in Anacortes.

Just stopped by for a hole in my tire was told 45 to an hour, which expected, but only took 35 mins. They were super nice and efficient.

I havent been to Les Schwab in over 10 years! They found a small bolt in my tire and fixed it for free !!! Well Blade Chev no longer rotates and balances the with my oil change. If this CO. will do that? NO BRAINER!!!

I dont think anybody loves spending time in a tire store. I know I dont. But if you have to spend time in a tire store, you may as well spend it here.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They work hard to get you on the road.

We came off the Sydney Ferry with a slow leak on the inside of the dually axle. It was close to closing and busy also, but they started on us with 20 minutes. The young man tore into the job, crawling under the motorhome, with two jacks, to get the axle in the air. Cold windy day too. Pulled the wheel off, dunked it for leaks and found the braided valve extender was the culprit. Replaced for free with a better metal one, put everything back together and didnt charge us. We couldnt believe it but that is Les Schwab policy for leaks. We tipped $20 and were on our way. Fantastic service, highly recommend.

Came in with a flat...They were very friendly and fixed the flat free of charge!

Made an appointment online to get my truck aligned. When I got there they said they could not service my truck due to it having the Toyota safety sensor. I told them the sensor is currently off, but they told me I had to call Toyota and ask them if they needed to re-calibrate. When I stepped out and called Toyota, they said NO calibration is needed during an alignment whether the sensors are set to ON or OFF. When I went back in telling them Toyota advised no calibration is needed, they now tell me they are unable to do the alignment because the sensor is off. Ok... First they say they cant do the alignment because sensor exists, now they tell me they cant do it because the sensor is off? Seems they were set on not servicing my truck no matter what. This was very frustrating for me since I made the appointment for the only time I had off and was in town.Funny thing is when I called the Les Schwab in Mount Vernon, they said they are able to do the alignment without any issues. Unfortunately they did not have an opening for me so I went up to Firestone instead. Firestone ALSO confirmed they did not have to re-calibrate any sensors.Tell me, why am I able to book an appointment with my exact year/make/model on the Les Schwab website if its supposedly not serviceable? Also, if its an issue to do the service, why was I not notified prior to my appointment? Almost every new car since late 2017 has these safety sensors…

What is the purpose of scheduling an appointment when you cant keep it? It shouldnt take 25 minutes to get to my vehicle when I made this appt. days in advance.Its not a doctors office, Les - I do actually expect to be seen on time. Well, I did. Now I know better.

I was on of those people who came in 10 minutes pre-closing on a Saturday with a flat tire issue. They pulled my car right in and at 5 or so minutes post- closing, I was on my way AND there was no charge. Gotta love THAT experience. I have had other times where the 1 hour wait for whatever I brought my car in for turned into a 2 plus hour wait but hey, win some , lose some......

Hate to say it, but this was yet another bad Les Schwab experience. The guys there are courteous and friendly, and they probably do good work. But they told me when I made the appointment that the work would take about an hour, and when I got there they said it would be at least two hours. Ended up taking even longer than that, making me miss the ferry and wasting a lot of time waiting for the next one when I could have been home at the time I planned.If they had only told me ahead of time how long these things really take I would have been able to budget time accordingly. Well, I wont make this mistake again.

Good people, good company. Had a problem with someone slashing my tires and they gave me a good discount the second time around just to be helpful.....along with coming out to make sure I could get the car into their shop to do the repair.

Great service and nicely done. I had the folks in Anacortes install Borg dually valve stems(purchased elsewhere, since Schwab does not sell them) on my Winnebago View motorhome. Now I can actually get to the valve stems to check air pressure and add air, as needed. Thanks!

5 stars! On Sept 6th we were coming out of the water at Washington parks boat ramp and our boat trailer blew a tire!! Our boat was already loaded and it was close to 5pm. We called Les Schwab and the guy said they were about to close and there wasnt anyone else in town to fix a blown tire that late..... after a few questions from Sam to figure out the problem and where we were, he said come on in with the tire.... he would stay and wait for us. He DID and fixed it in no time and we were able to get the tire back on the trailer and get home safely!!!! SAM was such a life saver!!!!! Excellent customer service!!!! My husband tried to tip him but he wouldnt take it! THANK YOU SAM!!!!!

Very helpful when we needed our tire pressure and lug nuts checked after our flat during our vacation. We will get the tire fixed once we get home.

This location in particular has consistently gone beyond the call of duty, outperforming the already-high service I have come to expect from Les Schwabs in general. I will keep coming here for tire service and replacement for as long as I live in this region.

Great staff but long wait.

I called in about a week ago asking if you guys carry moped tires, the rep said no but can provide the service if I bring in a tire. I did and when I went in, the lady who signed me in said there must have been a miscommunication over the phone because they dont change tires for moped. I asked why? She said because they are afraid to break something.... Come on Les Schwab... I love you guys but this experience was kind of sad.

First time I have been disappointed with Les Schwab. At 4:50 pm I called to see if they would have time that evening to mount and balance a set of 4 tires before they closed. The technician replied Yes if you get here soon. So, I got in my car and drove over there. At 5:05 pm a technician at the store turned me away stating the there Wasnt enough time to mount and balance my set of tires. If they were honest with me in the first place it would have saved me a trip.

They really took care of us, rotated the tires and fixed a flat for free! Ill definitely be bringing my business to then. Thank you Brittany

Called in to get a qoute to install new front shocks on my truck. They said that distributer was closed for the day and theyd get back with me on that. Never did. Two days later I called early in the day to get a quote for same thing. Said theyd get back with me. Three days later, no word. Had new tires and rims put on my truck several weeks ago. Two of the wheels were missing the crome valve stem caps. Not expensive to replace, but I had four when I brought the wheels to them and they were brand spanking new nitrogen caps. Attention to detail folks!

These folks are wonderful, and fast. Sometimes I think a tire is low and I drive by and they not only check out that tire, but they balance the pressure levels on all four tires for free. Im on the islands, so we dont get to Anacortes very often, but if theres something simple wrong with the car, I plan a side trip to Schwab as we drive through Anacortes. Because of their service on small things, I buy my tires from them, too. They sold me my latest six tires, with quick, fast service.

Very disappointed with their lack of scheduling and refusing to make an appointment. Wasted two days trying to get a simple job done, both days called in advance and was told they could get it done on time. Arranged rides to leave the car all day (twice), showed up and they already had started work on others that will require all day. Talked to the manager with an open schedule in hopes to make it happen with a 5 hour window any day of the week, and she was flat out rude to me and said could not help me. Anacortes is a small town, hope you guys get your act together soon. In an island town with ferry requirements your lack of making appointments makes it very difficult on everyone.

Friendly and efficient staff. I brought in my motorhome to replace the house battery. I also had the inflation checked on the rear dually. I also had the brakes checked on my pickup. Brakes checked out okay. They did find worn ball joints that I will replace soon.

Omgosh. Well, after waiting 2 hours to have our tires rotated, we came back to get our car and she said she they were out looking for a Cavalier and when they couldnt find it they took us off the list. Then she said she didnt know who we were and my husband had to remind her by saying dont you remember us? You updated our phone number. And I was here with my wife? She was like oh yeah! At least someone came out to get our car and rotatte the tires after complaining. Oy!!! However, this guy came out and was mad at her for messing up. We didnt have to pay for the service and he was very apologetic.

My daughter works in Anacortes but lives in Sedro Woolley at home. She called me telling me her battery light came on, I instructed her to go to Les Schwab and they would take care of her. They replaced her battery after a 1 hour wait. Later that night her battery light came back on. Turned out it was her alternator(a simple test). Les Schwab didnt bother checking anything, just sold her a battery.

Sam went above and beyond the call of duty and gave excellent service that made all the difference to me for my Easter plans.On Saturday afternoon I had a flat tire on Shaw Island as I was waiting for the ferry to take me back to Anacortes. I called the Anacortes Les Schwab right before they closed and explained that the ferry would not have me there until 6:30pm. The store closed at 5, so it was a long shot that I didnt expect to turn out. Still, Sam got on the phone and agreed to help me out by reopening the store just for me so that I could make it back to Snohomish.Our warranty gave us a discount on the new tire and they just happened to have one of the tires in stock that I needed! Sam worked with lightening speed to get me back on the road. I was able to make it home to Snohomish that evening so I could then make it to my family Easter brunch the next morning.What is significant about this is that if Sam would have done what most people do, he would have just told me that they were closed. That would have meant I would have been stuck on Shaw or in Anacortes overnight for at least a day or two, and then not been able to get help until Monday which means I would not only have missed Easter, but a day of work on Monday too.Sam totally saved Easter for me and my family and his actions were those of superior customer service and champion concern for other people.I dont know if all the Les Schwab stores have this same attitude, but Sam has earned my loyalty to the brand forever. According to Zaps...trusted and realizable for years....les Shwab made a mistake in my air pressure 2 minutes before getting oil change..my life was endangered with uneducated employees...Go to Zaps if you have car issues...Would give 0 stars for endangering my life, but not an option ..their tele # does not work either..bad business ...👎🏽
