Rochelle and SJ at the Anacortes clinic were wonderful! They were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional as they gave me a thorough exam and lots of helpful, practical advice. After the appointment, SJ reached out to me and helped find the best price and pharmacy for a prescription that my insurance doesnt cover. Thank you for an excellent experience!

I went this last week to the Anacortes branch to have my skin checked with Rochelle and Lea assisting. This was my first visit with them and I was impressed by the courteous and helpful attitudes they both exhibited. I was given some useful information to bring home and was asked to use sunscreen on my feet and ankles which I had never thought of. My surgery there for Basal Cell last fall was very well done by Joy McDiecy (my spelling may be off sorry) I can barely see a scar now almost a year later. Dr. Makdisi was incredibly kind and skilled. Alex, Serena and Chastity are an amazing team of medical assistants! Everyone so compassionate ... this was my first, and hopefully last, melanoma removal. They answered all of my questions and put me at ease. 👍👍👍

I recently had a procedure at the Anacortes branch of North Sound Dermatology and couldnt be happier with the entire experience. From the initial scheduling to follow up, the entire team has been friendly, courteous, professional and most importantly genuinely concerned for my well being. Dr. Makdisi and her team, Chasity, Jayme, and Alex did their best to make me as comfortable as possible in what could be a very uncomfortable procedure. If and when I need to visit the dermatologist, I will not hesitate to visit with them again.

From April at the front desk, to Lea and Rochelle in the exam room, Kens visit was pleasant and efficient. This office is so easy to access, and the staff so great at their jobs, that it is an easy appointment. Also, their system of checking in for the appointment was a breeze to do on-line beforehand.

Have been coming here for a couple years so my review is way overdue. Dr. Rochelle and SJ are very personable and professional. Office is always clean and welcoming. So glad to have this office in Anacortes.

I am very pleased with the care I received at the Anacortes office. The receptionist and nurse was so polite and welcoming. Nick (the doctor) was FANTASTIC!! He made me feel so comfortable and he seemed genuinely concerned. I would recommend their office to anyone.

While I was a bit nervous about a medical exam during the pandemic, I was immediately reassured by the care that North Sound Dermatology in Anacortes took to ensure this experience was stress and risk free. Professional and caring staff.

I had a great experience here. The reception was welcoming and reassuring, the raft of very inviting chairs to wait in were impressive (although I didnt even have time to sit in them because of the short wait time), the office is clean and organized, my appointment was thorough and reassuring. I was nervous beforehand and was quickly put to ease. My only issue is that finding the office in the Cannery Bldg from where I parked was difficult. I ran across another person also on his phone speaking to the main office, also trying to find the office entrance, so I know its not just me. A few more signs (especially one on the south side of the building) would be helpful.

Overall my experience was excellent. Reception was courteous and efficient. I got right in to the exam room without a wait. In fact, on the first visit I didnt get my homework done before I was called. Rochelle was very knowledgeable professional and pleasant. Robin was the same. Definitely would recommend your clinic to anyone.

The doctor was nice and the service was quick and efficient. However, I waited 3 months for my appointment because there weren’t any sooner. The nurse listened to my list of concerns (it had been a very long time since I saw a dermatologist). But when they doctor arrived I was told she could only do a full body cancer scan OR look at my “rashes.” And that I would need to come back for another appointment to look at the other items. Absolutely ridiculous. I was literally in the office with her for 10 minutes. There was not a single person in the waiting room when I arrived or left 15 minutes later. This is a total scam to charge more money and definitely not patient oriented. I’m appalled that this business has such high ratings and highly recommend you find a different dermatologist.

What a great experience! I hadnt seen a skin dr ever, and the nurse Robin was amazing, she listened to my concerns, was so positive, and had a great attitude. The dr decided to do a biopsy and she already had everything ready anticipating this, she talked to me about what to expect, and then clearly explained everything when it was time to leave. She then called later with my results, again being very professional and helpful so I understood. Dr Trussel was very personable and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend north sound anacortes.

I had a skin cancer removed and although the actual removal and recovery was totally awesome and flawless, the attention paid by the staff was what is really impressive. The night after the surgery, I got a call from the surgeon to make sure all was well. Not the surgeons nurse, assistant, or a receptionist. The surgeon. Then after the post-op meeting, I got a call because they had a line on which pharmacy could save me the most money on a rather expensive prescription. Totally above and beyond!

The Saturday appointment was great with no wait time. However the medical assistant and Dr were totally uninformed and unfamiliar with my wife’s medical history or even the reason for the consultation even though thorough notes were available to them from multiple doctors. We felt very unheard and will be seeing a different dermatologist.

North Sound dermatology exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked through the door. The environment is warm and welcoming. Patricia at the front office was exceptionally helpful. Robyn the MA was terrific and very knowledgeable. I was taken back in a timely manner and they were prepared to give me their undivided attention. Rochelle Trussell, the dermatologist was very thorough and personable. My experience was pleasant from start to finish and I would recommended NSD to anyone searching for great, personalized care.

This was my first time going to a dermatologist. The office was inviting and very clean. Everyone there was very friendly and answered all of my questions thoroughly.

I appreciated the quick professional confirmation email with all the details. Easy parking. Was a bit anxious on first appointment, so it was wonderful to find an attentive friendly receptionist and relaxing to settle into comfy lobby chair with beverage bar. Surprised me to find they were right on time. Dr. Wentzell and I shared commonality as redheads with fair skin. He came highly recommended by a friend. I found him to be uber attentive to details, friendly, funny and down to earth. My worries dissolved as he took the time to explain my lesion and treatment. Plus he saved me a considerable amount of money by recommending a great pharmacy for an expensive cream. Could not have been happier!

Overall the staff was friendly and efficient. SJ was particularly kind and helpful. My experience was great.

My experience at the Anacortes office was very good. Not only did they treat the condition I made the appointment for but they addressed other problems I have. They gave good instructions and had handouts to take home. The staf f was polite and professional.
