We are from Salt Lake City, Ut! While out here visiting Anacortes Washington we notice our Tahoe was making a weird noise when we would put it in Drive… the code reader was telling us it was a control module for transfer case so when we brought it in to Still Built we were set on it being something about the transfer case. Blake the owner took time out of his busy day to drop everything he was doing jump in my car and figure out what was going on. He even had his mechanic lift the car so they can get a real time diagnostic he even gave me the break down of everything and even jumped on the phone so my husband can be in the loop of things since he was at work!! After all that it turns out it wasn’t our transfer case it was actually our rear U joint. Blake had a shop full of vehicles and he went ahead and got it fixed right away. Blake and his team went out of their way to make sure my family and i were taken care of. You don’t see a lot of honest shops out there but this one by far is definitely an honest most laid back shop ever, the people here are amazing greeted us with a smile as soon as we pulled up. . I definitely will recommend this place to anyone out here in Washington even back home in utah! Hands down the best service! Had my car in and out of the shop within 24 hours. Extremely reasonable and honest! It’s nice to be able to go to a mechanic shop not knowing anything mechanically and know you’re in good hands. They don’t take advantage of you. Stillbuilt was amazing. Great consumer service. Let me drop my car off on Friday even through they didnt have an opening till the following Thursday. They called me on Monday was finished with my car. I was completly greatful as I was out of a vehicle for almost three weeks with the first place i took my car too. Weve used Stillbuilt for our automotive needs for several years and have always been happy with the quality of the work, and the reasonable prices. Blake Stiller and his crew are an efficient and professional team, and are extremely trustworthy.Where they really blew us away was when we recently needed an emergency repair done to a kayak trailer that needed to make a return journey to its home in New York. It had severely failing welds and could not make it another mile safely. We could not leave town with a trailer in that condition, yet none of the welding operations that are located here in Anacortes were able to do the job. In a last ditch effort to solve the problem I took it down to Stillbuilt and showed it to Blake. He made room in his busy schedule and knocked it out in one day. Awesome!The story gets better.After taking the trailer back and loading it for the return trip across the country, we noticed two other cracked welds in a different part of the trailer. A bad situation. I called Blake again, figuring that there would be no way that he could tackle the job in the 36 hours that were left before the trailer needed to hit the road. I was surprised when he said no problem, bring it in ASAP.Stillbuilt Motorsports, great guys who I would recommend to anyone! Check them out!

I first went into the shop to see if they could custom fabricate some intercooler piping, a wastegate dump tube, a downpipe off my turbo, mounting up my pre bent car back exhaust an mounting a muffler. Blake said he had 15 years experience as soon as he gets his hands on it he could give me a quote an they could do the job no problem. Great I bring my car to him, ask for a quote, with his hands on the car an he was silent, I had to ask is this going to be time an materials because this is a custom job, then he spoke up an said pretty much. I supplied all materails for the job. He never gave me a quote or estimate, or said how much his shop charges per hr, I didnt ask either.just wanting my car done i let him have the my car, he started the job called me up an wanted to know if I wanted to know when they hit a number on the bil, at that point he let me know his shop rate an how many hrs he already supposedly had in the job, an if I wanted to put money down, I did, I put 1k down thinking that would be more then plenty for the job.. i did check on the car at he said that they were going to hit the 1k mark an that it would be more but once again didnt give me an estimate or a quote of how much it would be when the car was done the total was 1600 dollars, the bill states 13 hrs labor but doesnt give a break down of what was even done in that 13 hrs, I was missing 2 bolts from a part they took apart an didnt put back together, they welded my water line in a position that you can not put a radiator hose on its impossible, my dump tube is pressed against my exhaust manifold an exits pressed against my slave cylinder rite next to the bleeder vavle, so there hot exhaust gas now next to a flammable source, my intercooler piping system that they fabricated is even more disappointing. The bottom pipeople ( theres 3 total) doesnt even come close to lining up there is no way its functional or mechanically workable in any form of way, they said I needed to do this an that to make a coupler fit on it to make it work, apparently the 1600 dollars I paid them didnt include that. The middle pipe that goes to my maf you cant put a air filter on it anymore they took my off cause they figure out a way to make it work an thats how they fabricated it up so now I have to solve the issue of figuring out what to use for a aair filter, for 1600$. The downpipe they made is the only thing that is done ok, there welds on the stainless material are nice, however the aluminum welds are not, they also did not de bur the inside of a few of the aluminum intercooler pipes an the water line which is completely unprofessional.. when I picked my car up they didnt even go through the job with me to see if I was happy or upset. I also noticed on the final bill it says in a column on the receipt original estimate for the exact amount i was charged,an in the upper corner theres a number that says original estimate, I never received or got an estimate ever, I never would had the work done if i was quoted 1600$ dollars, I wish I could post pictures to show everyone the worked they did on my car an where proud to represent there shop with such hurtful an unprofessional quality..they should be ashamed of themselves. I feel completely robbed an I have to take my car to another shop an pay that bill to get the job done right. I would never recommend this business for anything. Theres no ASE certified mechanic plaques anywhere in the business stating the a real ASE certified mechanic is working on your car. Stay away from this place.
