The staff and clients here are absolutely amazing kind hearted genuine people who deserve the world. Simply hanging out with them for a few hours a day will make them all family. The staff care so much and go above and beyond for their clients and the clients return the same. This is an amazing place to say the least.

They were awful staff rude and everyone passed the buck. Our son was in their care toenails were awful had not been cut I. A long time went with out his glasses for over 2 months all they had to do was bring him to his eye doc that is what I did and he had a new pair in a week. Staff lied to us I would not recommend them to anyone

Not enough payment for many hours. When you do the training they over work you and give you only a 3 min break here and there. If your supposed to have a hour lunch you get only 30 mins because they cut through your lunch. If you have a 30 min lunch you get even less cause once again they cut through it.They could have better time management. The residential housing rules could be better.Your not allowed to bring your own lunch or drinks, but have to eat what everyone else is eating. Granted its not mushed up and smoothied like the others but still if you dont like or cant eat the food they have that day. You are going to be hungry. No breaks and if you get lunch you ARE NOT allowed to talk call or text on your phone. This sucks because if you need to check in with some one during it, then you CAN NOT. WHICH can be bad at times with certain situations. I would LOVE to see that part change because if there is someone at home who does have issues and you NEED that check in to see if they are all right you cant so if they are going through something you are pretty much have to hope for the best (This is residential housing in Canjo.)Long hours for little pay.12 to 8 hour shifts pretty much every day and its barely enough to survive if your on your own let alone having a significant other living with you(or soon to be if college plans dont work out to be and you rather work than pay more for college which might be the case with some one). The job is not all bad. There are good days. But there are also bad. Which is what you would expect and thats normal. But work isnt all thats to life. People do have stuff outside it and they do need more than to barely survive on their own. If your a young adult and you are on your own and this is your first job then your pretty much have to find a way to live off a $1,000-$700 per month or look for a new job. The pay for training isnt enough and its for 2 months. Then you have a few weeks or more with no pay.I do not recommend this as it does suck and if you dont know ahead of time or are only getting it due to needing money and cant get anything else for the moment, you will hate it.You will hate having to bathe others.Having to clean up after them.Employees put as much trust in the company, as much trust the company puts in them.If you dont trust your employees to even be able to call some one they care about, and some one who needs a check in, to say among the lines ofHow you doing... I can only talk for (insert time)...hows your day... okay try to hang in there... bye I love you. Then your employees shouldnt trust you to do the same .Yes there are bad employees. But not every young adult is a piece of poo that cant do a job.Dont take this job if your just starting out, or something personal (mental) with you or some one you care about because it will make it worse.Dont work at the Amsterdam, Canjo, and maybe Schenectady areas.Fort plain has good reviews maybe there
