All of the staff are always very friendly and upbeat when I visit! I am recognized and treated like an individual rather than a number. I have never experienced a bad attitude or anything less than thoughtful and attentive care and regard no matter the issue or the department. The Dr and manager are very thoughtful and patient with me no matter how demanding I may have been. Very much recommend them if you appreciate decent people working hard to ensure you are well served and left with understanding rather than confusion. Fabulous bedside manners from all you encounter 🤗

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Gil and the dental assistants are wonderful. They are very patient, kind and have a great bedside manner. I am very anxious when in the dental chair, but they work hard to keep me at ease during dental procedures.

Staff was extremely professional and were very friendly. They made me feel right at home. A special shootout to my hygienist Jen, who went above and beyond keeping me comfortable. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was super nice and made me feel less anxious. I thought I was going in for a cleaning, but ended up having to get a deep clean done because I had put off going for so long (my fault). Everyone there was professional and courteous, even when I started panicking that I would not be able to get it done that day. But they were kind enough to accommodate the change in procedure. I live over an hour away and don’t drive, so it was very much appreciated. My teeth look great, better than they have in years!

First visit and these people are absolutely wonderful! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I will keep traveling the 70 miles for future visits, rather than waiting for an opening at my local place.

My first visit was great... Im terrified of dentists now after a dentist messed up my teeth but when I went to aspen everyone was so nice and made me feel comfortable. Cassidy was extremely courteous, professional and helpful. She helped get me the best possible price and discussed each charge with me BEFORE confirming my next appointment. That is important to me. The other staff were ALL very cheerful and courteous as well. The overall experience was perfect. I have a follow up appointment in a week and I’m actually looking forward to it... which is weird because I’m not really a fan of sitting in a dentist chair. A great atmosphere due to the great attitudes of ALL the employees there. I highly recommend this office for your dental needs.

I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning and exam as a new patient. The day before they called me and stated they would need to schedule an examination with xrays. Then I could schedule a cleaning. I canceled as what they are doing is wasting my time to maximize the insurance payout. They get more money if it is two separate visits. If anyone goes here I would take note of how many xrays they are giving you.

Always a pleasant trip! Very nice and answer my questions and listens to my concerns! I have anxiety and they help me relax.

Staff and Dr were friendly and for someone who hates everything about going to the dentist, my experience was a good one. The only draw back is the extremely high prices. For any regular person, especially during a pandemic it will wipe out your savings. Thank God for payment plans.

Going to Aspen dental I had a great experience the employees there for the friendliest people I have ever met at a doctors office every one of the girls that work there including the secretaries the most politest people I have ever dealt with the dentist was fabulous he was very friendly and took his time to explain everything they were going to do.

Avoid Aspen Dental! I originally scheduled myself for an exam and x-rays, as I needed to establish care with a new dentist. I moved up my appointment when I broke a tooth. After X-rays were taken, the dentist barely looked at my teeth, only referencing the X-rays, and told me I needed multiple extractions. I signed up for the financing thinking it was the right thing to be doing, and was kept waiting another hour to make impressions for the temporary dentures. (Keep in mind I was told my appointment might take an hour and a half tops, and I had my ride waiting for me this entire time.)After several days of thinking I decided I wanted a second opinion on the four other teeth recommended for extraction. When the office called to confirm surgery I asked them to focus on the broken tooth and said I wanted to get a second opinion on the other four teeth. I was told I would have to pay the sedation fee if I came back for future extractions. Okay, not what I was asking about, but cool.A few minutes later I was called back and told I would still have to pay for the temporary dentures that were made for the extractions. Which is okay by me, but I really started to feel pressured. I kept being told they recommended getting multiple extractions done at the same time to make things easier, and repeated several times that the dentures were made and I would be responsible for paying the $900 some-odd for them. This felt extremely pushy, especially since at my financing appointment implants were brought up as $4000-$4500/tooth.

I can not say enough good things about my visit today. Excellent customer service and warm welcomes from staffing here today. The office manager who scheduled all my up coming appointments (and worked diligently through my work schedule), the dental hygienist who squeezed me in for a cleaning (AND SCRAPPED OFF MY OLD BRACES CEMENT) and the doctor who did my annual exam were all very professional and welcoming. I called to get an appointment. I needed some extractions done Im in a lot of pain. I was initially told they would take me despite my State insurance. That my visit would be free.I go to fill out the online paperwork and it didnt go through. I call to explain and that was when I was told they didnt take my insurance and would have to pay $221 out of pocket for initial visit. Im not financially stable and the third party isnt an option. Im sorry but I expected more.

Ever since I got my oral surgery done with Aspen Dental, Im having a difficult time chewing foods and drinking. Ill get some pain here and there.

Aspen dental is first and foremost a business, so don’t go there for a cleaning, you’ll get a lot more than you bargained for.That being said, however, they were there to help me in my time of need. I had a decaying tooth under a bridge that threatened the health of my surrounding teeth. I was in a tight spot financially; I was scared, and in a race against time, but Aspen found a way to help me at minimal cost out of my own pocket.I experienced complications with my extraction that I do feel could have been avoided had I opted for an oral surgeon instead, but Aspen made all accommodations necessary at no extra cost to me until I had fully recovered.Cons: It definitely felt like I was at a used car lot on my first visit. I wanted a simple procedure but I didn’t feel heard; I felt my wants were being sacrificed to their agenda. But it is, after all a business, and it’s no illusion, they are trying to sell you.Pros: The staff is great. Chastity, Samantha, Dr. Fuertes, the hygienists, they’re are all super personable, and if you’re cool with them, they’ll be cool with you. They worked with me to the extent that when I received a surprise bill for something that Aspen had originally obtained pre-auth from my insurance for, they wiped away the debt for me; nobody else would do that. That small gesture made a world of difference for me.The takeaway: I got more than I bargained for, but I am super grateful.

Being new to the area not knowing any dentist, I decided to try Apen Dental. I couldnt be more pleased with my choice. From the ease of making an appointment to being seen by the dentist was a smooth transition.

I went to Aspen Dental today they had covered protocols in place . Staff is always friendlyI had a good check up, I kept my oral hygiene up during covid so I had no problems/ issues. 😁

I called and asked if they did Root Canals. They said yes and got me in at 8 am. They took X-rays and medical history then sat in the room until after 9:00 for the Dr to come in and tell me he can’t do anything (I have been in extreme pain for a week) and I need to see a specialist. They wasted my time and money and did nothing to help. They didn’t even give me a copy of my X-rays to take to the specialist. Would not recommend them at all.

Super friendly staff. They were able to get me in immediately for a free initial visit and xrays for impacted wisdom teeth. Now on a path to a solution much quicker than I could anticipate. Being uninsured I felt hopeless, but they found a way to accommodate me with an affordable payment plan. Amanda at the desk was phenomenal at getting me rescheduled after my car went into shop after a dead battery. Jennifer my hygienist who educated me and was a bubbly, personable person.

I Spoke to a receptionist in the Amsterdam office by the name of Amanda! I inquired about a work I had done some years ago and was told there was no records of me ever being a patient at that time! I told her in depth about my situation some years ago at the Aspen Dental and asked if their computers are synced because I had it done at the Altamont Ave site. I was made to feel like I was a liar! She said that the computers are synced and there is no way that I had any procedures done or she would have records of it, and then asked me to prove it! I said I’m not sure if I have any of the records and I really just wanted my records in case I needed them since Aspen Dental did the work and I paid over $4,000 out of pocket and wanted to see what if anything was still covered, and if my warranty was still good! She said she never heard of such a thing; so I called the Altamont office and gave the same information to a lady named Mary and within 30 seconds my records were pulled up! It was one of the worst experiences I ever had, and thankfully I called instead of taking at face value what I was initially told by Amanda! People make mistakes but this felt like I was trying to make a story up! Just glad someone knew how to do their job! Thanks a lot Mary! See you at my appointment!

Both of my experiences with Aspen Dental in person were without issue. Facilities are clean and tidy for the most part. Staff was nice enough and seemed competent. Pricing for most procedures here will absolutely cost you more than most other places, but with no hit to the quality of work.

I have always dread going to dentist due to multiple bad dental experiences. I have had to lose most my teeth at young age due to dental agencies knowing whats bestAspen Dental treated me like I was actually part of my own care plan and gave me confidence in dentistry again. I have new partial dentures and in progress of getting my smile back. They making me feel alive again!!! THANK YOU!!!Also this all was done at fair price. I have insurance and only paid a fair price. Not what other agencies cost upwards to 10 of thousands of dollars.

I called as a first time patient and made an appointment for a cleaning three weeks in advance. I then recieved a phone call almost every day to confirm my appointment, confirmed it by phone and confirmed it by text message. The day before my appointment, I received another message about how my appointment was confirmed, and then the DAY OF received ANOTHER message about how my appointment was cancelled and given to someone else. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME just to keep confirming appointments, have your phone blown up daily and everything, just for it to be cancelled anyways.

Nice people nice office. Although I have to say getting into pull teeth is like pulling teeth. Especially if youre like me and you have some high blood pressure. They need to stop being so scared and realize that I signed a release and just do what they need to do for the benefit of their patients and then they would be okay. So well see what happens if well go from there

Dr. Kara in the Amsterdam office did a wonderful job with my husbands oral surgery. She made us very comfortable. He was in and out in a hour. Would highly recommend her and this office!

When I came to Aspen dental today everything was great with my cleaning, the lady was extremely nice. The x ray tech was really nice as well and tried to fix an issue I had with one lady responding rudely to me. I had asked someone who passed by if they by chance forgot about me (I was in a room for over an hour waiting for the doctor) and she seemed she did not want to be bothered with answering me. Then when she responded she was extremely rude like I was a problem and I needed to go away; she was busy. She had short blackish hair and apparently her name is Rainen or something to that affect. I understand things happen and people are busy but a polite response would have been nice. I was not being rude I just wanted to make sure and see what happened. Later I was told by the x ray tech that they got stuck in surgery. If that other lady would have just said that, it would have been fine. I could not believe how she treated me. I hope I never have to deal with her again cannot even believe Aspen would have an employee like that. We all have been days but I merely was asking a question.

Great techs and very good patient repore

They were able to get me in quickly and were able to help me with financing. That was all that was good. I was seen by at least 5 different people throughout my consultation. I left the office with referrals to recommend to them what dental work I needed. I have a baby tooth and this was the first dental office in my life that wanted to attempt to fill it but they couldnt tell me whether or not I needed a root canal. They whispered behind me about me for 20 min before including me in the conversation. The hygienist seemed more knowledgeable than the dentist. Then the charges, though they were willing to finance me, were outrageous. Including making me buy a $135 toothbrush. I got a second opinion and will never be returning to such a shady practice.

They would only give me a cleaning that was going to cost $1300. I believe they are just charging you for high priced procedures. The staff was very nice but I wont go back for that price.

The staff is very nice, but I’m always waiting forever to be seen. If I have an appointment at 3:30, it shouldn’t take until after 4 to be seen by the dental hygienist. There is never enough dentists available either. One time I had to reschedule because I needed to get to work and a dentist still hadn’t come in to see me after 45 minutes.

The staff were great with my 6 and 8 year old. Made getting cleanings and xrays fun and interactive with them.

My husband, William Powell, had his plate break in half for the 2nd time! He was eating soft food at the time and can’t eat anything hard because they don’t fit correctly even though he had been in several times to gave them adjusted.We called early on a Friday and they said they did not have enough time to do them during that day. And they are not open Sat or Sun so he had to wait until Mon. So he could not eat much except soup for 3 days.They gave him an appointment on Monday at 11:30 and were able to gave them done in an hour.So if it would only take an hour to fix on Monday why couldn’t they do it Friday so he could eat.Your customer service is very poor. The dentures are poor and your corrections to them were not good and the poor fit is probably what caused them to break.Finding a professional dentistry to use from not on instead of the ‘big box store’ version.

Went in for first time with a gum infection. Everything was great except for once it was all said and done they recommended periodontal cleaning, a filling, and something else. It was well overpriced, and I asked if I could just get a regular tooth cleaning and the secretary, said no! That that would be overriding the Dentist recommendation. Thats ridiculous, I guarantee you that I need a cleaning and thats what you go to the dentist for.. hence I will not be returning!

Couldnt get in to my previous dentist for a very painful dental abscess, called and went on line to schedule an appointment with Aspen, got in on the next business day and could not have had a better experience!The office staff, X-ray tech, my initial dentist, follow up specialist, and especially my dental hygienist all were fantastic!Very professional, courteous, accomidating, and efficient.I felt that I had exceptionally thorough exams and cleanings, and was completely pain free very quickly.Follow up was excellent.I was quickly referred to their specialist in the Schenectady office, also exceptional, had another very thorough exam, and was pleased to find that I did not need a root canal or more expensive and invasive procedure.Ive had several cleanings since then, and while I cant believe Im saying this, I am actually looking for to my next visit and cleaning.While I still like my previous dentist and appreciate their wonderful service in the past, Aspen Dental will be my future dental group because of these outstanding interactions and visits.Thank you Aspen.

I have some much needed sent work I need to get done however... I wasnt expecting the news I received. I literally sat in the chair and cried the dentist and dental assistant was very compassionate and caring. The office manager who sat me down to explain the process from this point was also very caring and compassionate. Gave me the privacy I needed to pro ess the information. I found the office was modern and well kept. I was told the location was built just 8 years ago. The staff was nice and well trained. The dentist was very gentle and explained the problems and options very well. The reason I rated it a 3 is that the cost is prohibitively high. To pull 20 teeth and given the appropriate dentures was almost $11,000, even with insurance my out of pocket expense was almost $5,000. They offer 2 financing options on the balance. They do not accept medicare patients at all, private insurance, financing or of course cash out of pocket. The average for this area for extraction and premium dentures is approximately $3800. So they charge 2.5 times the average. To bad they had nice staff!

Kind of late on this but have to tell ! They changed my paper work and other things happened that mad me not trust them . My daughter who lived on her own went there . They were to fix a tooth that had a root canal from another dentist . When the dentist started to work on the tooth she said thats not the tooth and he said yes it is . She told him several times wrong tooth but he did the other tooth . So never fixed the problem . Be aware is what Im saying. I dont rrust

Ive always had a good experience at aspen dental. Last weekend I broke a tooth and the filing eating popcorn .I was able to get an appointment tues. I was worried they would pull what was left of my tooth. The dr. said he could put a crown on . Im so happy .

Aspen Dental in Amsterdam is absolutely fantastic! Everyone there was extremely friendly and the atmosphere is much nicer than the last dentist office I went to. The dental assistant took the time to go through everything with me and the hygienist was even gentle on my orthodontic work! I highly recommend this office!

I had a full bottom denture that cracked after 5 years of use. Aspen dental fixed it at no cost to me. The dentures have a 7 year warranty. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. A great buying experience.

Love the dentist at the Amsterdam location. I heard so many awful things about Aspen but i recently moved to the area and needed a new dentist. So pleased with the work Ive had done so far. Front end and dental hygienist were nice as well.

Better than expected. Went first day first time and got my tooth pulled which I need done asap the very same day. Qualified for financing so things moved fast. Glad I gave them a shot..

Theyre usually really nice here, helped me pick out a loan to have my wisdom teeth removed and 4 fillings done. After I switched my insurance and 6 months after my first 2 fillings I was finally able to go back in to have my other two filling done. The did X-rays and found out that they had to redo one of my fillings. The were able to fit me in the very next morning, however they tried to make me pay for it. I told the lady at the desk that I wasnt upset with her, but there was absolutely no way I was paying for a filling a second time because THEY messed it up. I didnt have to argue too badly because I was only a day or two out of their 6 month filling, I guess, warranty stage. However I did get money back on my loan because the lady that took care of my teeth told me that I didnt need any more fillings and that the other doctor should have just had them under watch to see if theyd get better because they were not bad at all. So at least after getting a new doctor my experience was better. Ill update this review upon more visits.

This was my second visit to Aspen Dental in Amsterdam, N.Y. The service during both visits were fantastic. I was welcomed by staff as soon as I walked in. The doctors, hygienist, and others were thorough, knowledgeable and kind. I would recommend this office to anyone.

The care I get at Aspen Dental is usually fantastic, but thats when I actually get care. Every time Ive gone here, Ive had to wait about twenty minutes, which isnt bad considering I know they cant see many patients at a time. However thats exactly why they shouldnt take as many appointments as they do.My last visit, only a few days ago, I spent about two hours in the building. I checked my watch frequently, and realized that I had been in the waiting room for 110 minutes during my entire visit. I was told I had to wait in the waiting room during my cleaning multiple times, and I was not even given a cleaning. I was then roped into agreeing to a deep cleaning, for which I have to pay a fair amount of money out of pocket because apparently my insurance wont cover it. I felt too guilty and embarrassed to say no, the hygienist was very aggressive about it.

Ive been to this location a few times now for cleaning and inspection appointments, and have thus far enjoyed my experiences. The facility is always clean, staffed by some very friendly people, and has never failed to make sure I leave knowing everything I need to about my mouth.Even recently when I showed up and came to find out that they had overbooked and had already taken in someone because I was a few minutes late, they were able to offer me the same appointment time the very next day. Now had I not had that day off as well I probably would have been a bit grumpy, but the pieces feel into place and I just ended up doing some tasks I had reserved for later that day much sooner. So while this could have been a problem, they at least had the ability to offer me the very next day at the same exact time.The only thing I can possibly think of complaining about, is the horrible gaff they put on the televisions in the waiting room and at every dental chair inside. I get it, you want to put on something non-threatening, something non-confrontational, and maybe something that you would mind listening to for hours on end. But Lifetime? HGTV? World News? Come on. What about Food Network? Discovery? Even the local news would be fine. There isn’t even a way to turn off the televisions or change the channels, and I just end up pulling the plug on the chair tv just so I don’t have to hear about the drama Stacey and Joey are going through or how much money they are spending on an overpriced piece of property. Ugh.

Was hesitant to go back to aspen after previous bad experiences. But once I got in both the ytntist and nurses were very friendly listened and acknowledged my concerns and because of this is why I will recommend this office. I only rate this place 4 out of 5 because of waiting time and steepness of price for someone without dental insurance. Waiting time wad not too horrible bur still a little longer than wanted. So overall if you dont have insurance but dont mind spending extra just so you can get great customer care this is the place to go.

When I initially called, I was curious about pricing. The call center promised to send me a price list, which never happened. I found out later that they never send out price lists, so the guy LIED to me to get me to make an appointment.At the first (free) exam/X-ray session, the X-ray tech was very sweet. Then I waited 40 minutes in the chair for the dentist to examine me. He said that I needed a cleaning and had 5 cavities, 2 of them needing immediate attention. The recommended follow-up procedures (cleaning and 5 fillings) priced out at over $1,000. I decided to start with the cleaning.At my cleaning appointment, the hygienist noticed no cavities needing any attention. WHAT????

They were very nice but i did not like my experience with aspen dental. First off i felt like there was no privacy when they initially brought me into the Xray room and were asking me questions about what was going with my oral health because other patients we maybe 10 or 15 ft away. After Xrays i was brought into a private room. I honestly couldnt really understand the dr. While he was going over the Xrays. After they oral hygenist came it she took another look at my teeth/gums. I ask for some type of antibiotic or anitseptic mouth wash to help relieve the pain of my swollen gums and was told there was nothing they could give me. After them literally doing nothing but looking at my teeth i went to the lady at the counter who then told me itd be $800. Just for a cleaning and it would need to be paid up front before the cleaning.. so they basically did nothing but take xrays of my mouth and try to charge me a ton of money.. thanks Aspen Dental!

From the first phone call to schedule my appointment right on thru my first visit since here was kind and friendly. They explained everything in detail and gave me options. My experience with them has been exceptional.

This place was the worst!!!! My husband was treated horribly and had 3 teeth pulled. He is in agony, bruised and swollen all over. He has stitches in his mouth where he didn’t even have a tooth pulled so clearly he was nicked! Then he kept telling the dr he could feel, the doctor told him to be quite that he knows how to do his job. The sedation wasn’t being affective and the dr told my husband maybe he shouldn’t have used drugs before!!!!! WORST PLACE IVE EVER HEARD OF!!!! If I was present at this appointment IT WOULDVE ENDED DIFFERENTLY!

Was there 3 hours to get xrays and exam. People are nice but way to long of a wait.

As of right now everything is going well. Still have a few more appts. To go

Operated more like dirty car dealership than a customer service establishment. A few members of the staff are ok, but both of the dentists that I have experienced here have the used car salesman vibe with sub-par bedside manner. I had a root-canal procedure done between this location and the Aspen in Niskayuna. They botched the procedure which after 2 months I ended up with the most intense pain you can imagine. Aspen gave me a re-treatment, which did take away the pain. However, I was told that my tooth had a temporary fill and that I would have to come back in one years time to get it permanently filled. When I went to Aspen a year later as recommended to get the permanent filling, I saw another dentist who told me that I already had a permanent filling. So now Im stuck with what amounts to about 4000$ out of my own pocket for half a tooth that constantly collects food. Im afraid to push this issue any further at this location because I get charged over 120$ every time I so much as walk through the door. I highly recommend going somewhere else, you deserve much better!

I am not a fan of dentist, but this place in Amsterdam, Ny is rocking! They were very speedy, no waits, very friendly, professional, clean environment and helpful! I highly recommend these guys!

The best care. Great place for dental work.

Please DO NOT GO HERE! The dental treatment plan IS A RIP OFF & you will end up leaving with ONLY an EXAM & REFERRALS. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN! $135 for a toothbrush and when I told her if she can take off the toothbrush that I would find one online, she cut me off and said I would end up paying over $200. I just found one at Target for $31. This place is a TOTAL SCAM!! Stay away!

The dentist and dental assistant were so awesome and sweet! Best experience at the Greece location.

I was extremely anxious. Everyone made me feel welcomed and really told me every thing to expect. They never seemed to judge me.
