When i came here i was super nervous. I needed a car ASAP for school on a short notice. South shore Nissan helped me tremendously! The staff is so welcoming and made this stressful moment less stressful! Kevin, helped my family and he truly handled us with patience and care. He worked with diligence to get us exactly what i needed. And Terrance in finance tried his hardest to get me what i needed. They did not give up until i left there satisfied. They have by far the best team i ever came across! Thank you so much south shore Nissan. Without your help i would not be comfortable driving to school. It is really hard to find a dealership that truly cares about its customers. Most dealerships put the money before the satisfaction/needs of the customers. I was grateful to have a different experience with an amazing dealership that really showed me that they care. Thank you once again south shore Nissan.

If you want continuous issues and problems, this is the dealership for you. I chose this location to ground my vehicle. They are very behind on paper work and completing simple task. They’re actions caused delays in closing out my lease with the company. Which led to multiple calls from Nissan Finance. And the cooperation never understood why the dealership wouldn’t just do what they have to, in order to make my process as a customer smooth. Take your business else where for better experience, it’s not worth the stress.

I have been looking for a Jeep Wrangler for awhile that was priced decently with low mileage. I live MILES away from this dealer, but they happened to have the exact color I wanted at a decent price. In my area Jeeps are priced high with high mileage. I have a friend that lives in Manhattan that was willing to go test drive it and it wouldve been a cash deal (which I stated to Ramona).I called the dealership 6x over 2 days trying to talk to someone about the price, etc. I was told by 2 different ladies (Ramona was one) that a manager would call me. I had already done my part with finding a vehicle transport company for after the deal closed. I wanted to talk price before I allowed my friend to drive an hour and it didnt turn out. But evidently the manager, Ramona, and/or the other lady didnt think my money spends like other customers does. Either way, they likely wont miss MY money, but they wont get it either. Im definitely not about to beg and pay NOBODY for anything. Even if it is my dream car.DO BETTER PLEASE.

Two years ago, we did not have the best experience in leasing our 2019 Nissan rogue SV AWD. Initially due to sensor issues. All this time, we could not wait to turn it back in. Well, today we did! Special thanks to the Nissan team that made it possible. We had rather unique and specific needs, due to now having two children - one who is disabled. And one the newest sales person helped us. That was Carlitos!! Little did we know, we were his first sale! Dave assisted us in Finance Dept. (this was now our second time with him) and Bryan helped us with insurance! We were beyond satisfied with our service this time. Especially since we had the opportunity to drive a unique showroom model 2021 Nissan Sentra off the lot! It is beautiful and everything we imagined for our family car. In the end, the South Shore Nissan team all joined in on the fun to cut Carlitos tie as his first sale! Way to go South Shore Nissan team!

It is truly disheartening when a business takes advantage of people for monetary gain. The employees who work here are sad humans who prey on those with little knowledge of cars. Do not take your car to be serviced here, especially a Nissan that is no longer under warranty.Last week, I brought my Nissan in for an oil change. I was told that my front shocks were leaking and needed to be replaced, my rear shocks needed to be replaced and I needed both front and rear brakes. The estimated cost to repair was over $3,000.I declined the services and only had the oil change done. I decided to take my car to a local mechanic for a second opinion. I made an appointment for the next day.Overnight, I realized oil was leaking from my car. An oil change was the only thing Nissan performed and they couldn’t even do that right.When I brought my car to the local mechanic, he said that my front shocks were completely dry and did not need to be replaced, nor did my rear shocks. He also said I had several thousand miles left in my brakes.To top it all off, he said that the oil was leaking because Nissan failed to replace the oil filter gasket after they did the oil change! I am going on a trip tomorrow and this could have been disastrous!I have many of my old bills from Nissan service which I shared with the mechanic as well. He was shocked and appalled at both the unnecessary and overpriced services I received in the past.It makes my heart hurt that there are people like this in the world. Support your local honest mechanic and do not go here under any circumstances!

Made appointment for oil change. After waiting around dealership for an hour, asked service advisor what is going on. She then said even with an appointment it takes 2-3 hours for an oil change. Although this one was supposed to be complimentary for buying the car at this dealership, they lost me and my family’s business I guess they never heard of jiffy lube and a 10 minute oil change.Avoid South Shore Nissan all they want to do is sell you and forget about you for good customer service

This review is specifically to acknowledge Arnold Panella. He’s the finance director at Nissan South Shore, Amityville. My mothers car was up for lease. I spoke to Arnold about all her options to either have her lease again or buy. Instead of just automatically saying to lease Arnold really discussed the options. He went over with us the specs of the car, mileage etc etc. He suggested we buy, which in the end has saved us a lot of money…Thousands actually ! Arnold went above and beyond his Job at this dealership. He treated us as his family. He helped my Mom like it was his own Mom. Quite frankly there are very few Arnold’s left in the Sales world. Beyond grateful we found him.

The worst service ever! Apparently there is a new policy and even though you have purchased your car from them they no longer offer free loaner vehicles. The reason Im bringing the car to them is because the hood wont open... How many 4 year old cars have a hood that stops opening... But I should pay for the loaner... Goodbye Nissan, hello Toyota.

Please read this before taking your vehicle here. RIP OFF company, let me begin with Fred asking my age. What does my age have to do with you fixing my car? I took my vehicle in for a mass air flow sensor , Fred insists on new engine filter ( I just had all filters put in new) I mentioned this to him, he states my engine light will not go off if filter isn’t change. The sensor installed takes literally 15 minutes tops, charged me over 500.00 in labor alone. Was it my age Fred or do you rip off all females. Never will I return!!!

I am so amazed beyond belief how detail oriented and customer priority is met. Jesse is amazing! He deserves 5 stars alone. His attentiveness and concerns to customers needs is truly extraordinary. I walked in and bought a used car on 5/16. I pointed out the car had many cosmetic defects and parts missing but the salesperson assured me the $2,000 reconditioning fee would cover it all. Trusting them, i drove off the lot with the purchased used vehicle and traded in my car. Of course the next day, the rear brakes start giving off unbearable high squeals indicating the brakes or brake pads are basically worn down and near close to having nothing left. I pointed this out to the salesperson the next day and he said he will look into it and tell the service department when they recondition my car. The next two days I bring in my car hoping they would do something or recondition it but still nothing is done and they are still waiting for parts. The associate at the service department was very rude and constantly tells me to bring in the car or leave the car, still knowing the parts are not available. This was a complete waste of my time and my families time to constantly go back and forth from home to the dealership. I still have heard nothing from then or even when they will be able to service my car and my brakes are even getting worse. At this point i am afraid i purchased a lemon and i would even lose out on my original car that i traded in. This experience has been truly horrible and frustrating. At this point i regret purchasing and taking home the car same day knowing the car was no where near ready to be sold. Please beware of purchasing from them.

I forgot the key to my house and a vacuum cleaner when I first dropped car off and he turned right around and took me back. Retrieved my house key and vacuum cleaner with a huge smile on his face. Good afternoon, I had a problem with my 2019 Morano ,It was towed to south shore Nissan. Before it was towed it sat at the tow yard for a few days with the sunroof open and it rained. I went to pick it up at south shore today and couldn’t believe the job you guys did. Kerry and the service department did such a GREAT job I walked past the car 3 times. Where do I start:On 7/17 I had an appointment to buy a use car with Darlene Konyha. It was controlled chaos.1 First I had to redo a credit app after I submitted one online.2 Next - pick a car- I had some cars in mind from their web site which were not available or did not work with my credit.3. Darlene drove me around the dealer in a golf cart and showed me a car which looked okay. However when I ran the car fax it was in 2 accidents. So back out in the Golf cart and we able to pick out a very nice car - 2018 Rouge sv no accidents.4. Now to Finance where they did work very hard to get a competitive loan that I was happy with.5. The numbers changed by minute by minute. First they low balled my trade in, then the price of the car you have to add $2K to the advertised price. Then the bank fee. And after all of that a $2.9K fee for a Warranty.6. On to the Warranty for $2.9K. I was told that this was an aftermarket warranty - 2 year bumper to bumper. THAT WAS NOT TRUE. It only covered powertrain which is basically the same warranty Nissan offers 6/60000 which still remained on the car.7. I asked for the Warranty to be canceled for a full refund. I was told I needed to come and sign due to carbon copies- that was false, no carbon copies. It could of been mailed or faxed. Now the loan I have was $2.9K higher than needed and the refund will be sent to the bank.- Also the car was not ready, service was done on 7/17 brakes, new tires which are now mismatched.So - If you are going to buy a car them, pack a lunch as I was there for 6 hours. Read the fine print.

I would love to give them a higher rating, but I just can’t. I have never seen a business where so many employees walk around without a mask or the mask under their nose. I was outraged. It shows that they really don’t care about their customers.That being said, I had a great salesperson, Arlette. Jesse and James provided excellent customer service. Jesse asked me whether I’d be waiting or if I needed a ride home. James obliged my request by spraying my car with disinfectant when I was picking it up and I explained that I had a newborn. I especially liked the video update of my car informing me of additional work needed as well as the text updates of the time remaining for service completion and the final text that the car was ready for pickup. The timeliness of the service provided was awesome.

Would be nice to give them an awesome high rating if they didn’t change their customer service attitude once you’re off their lot.We bought a pre-owned certified Traverse about a week and a half ago. We noticed a huge rainbow etch into the windshield and inquired about it multiple times. While the car was in their shop for a week getting inspected and fixed we continued to ask about the windshield. We were met with “oh we will see what we can do” “we can try to buff it” “want to avoid replacing” etc. Everyone answered their phones and responded to messages within a decent time frame. It was such great family friendly attitudes that we even tipped the sales guy! But THEN once the inspection was done when we inquired about the windshield the tone changed. “We can’t touch it”. “You bought it as-is”. Oh no no. We called the sales guys out on it and said that we had mentioned this ALL week prior to them finalizing and NO ONE said verbally or in writing that it was “as-is”. So their next response was “see what your mechanics can do and if they can’t, call us and we will see what the managers can do”. On top of that, we were given the managers card and told to call if we needed anything. So we left and had our guys look at it but everyone said to speak back with the dealer. What do you know... ghost town. No one has answered our calls, the manager has not returned voicemails ... as if we never existed. Your words from your sales staff. They are only willing to “help” and offer great customer service until you buy the car and then it’s screw you!! I can only hope that someone has some moral decency to fix this issue , or else for everyone else, don’t fall for the fake customer service ! Find somewhere else where you know you can get the right support even after you’ve left.

Nice employees but that doesn’t change the fact that they walk around carelessly without masks on, there was 2 employees who’s wore their masks correctly during my time there and every other employee either didn’t have one on at all or it was under there nose. Shows their blatant disregard for their customers. When asked where their mask was the employee responded at my desk, another employee was vaping while walking around the showroom and the others will hang out in corners and chat all without masks on.

Im glad I walked out out of Hyundai where they dont know how to talk and treat people. I just wanted to say that first of all Andy work on my car and my car is amazing and it runs 100% better so I truly appreciate the work that he did as well as the pricing, he was very reasonable and he helped my family out a lot. The staff as a whole including the woman who checked me out, because I had to use various payment methods, was not aggravated and very professional in the way she handled my transaction. Service Advisor was professional and knowledgeable. When I told him the problem my wife was having with her Nissan Sport, he knew exactly what to fix and showed me what the cause of the problem was. With that said, you should not let the metal seatbelt connector you use to strap yourself into the car get caught in the door. If you slam the door hard enough with the seatbelt in the door jamb you may cause the open door warning light to permanently malfunction.

Shopping for a new car is always a hassle. We had a good salesperson who let us test drive 3 different vehicles. When it came time for pricing I told him I didnt want a game but a bottom line number. Of course thats not how they work there. It becomes a shell game with the salesperson running back and forth multiple times to the front desk for better numbers. My advice, do your homework and go to multiple dealers and the internet for pricingI have been there 3x every 3 years when my lease on my Honda or Acura expire to give them another chance but lo and behold it is the same nonsense each time. Went back to Island Acura and leased another car.No games ,bottom line and professional.

My 2019 Sentra was due for its 20,000 mile checkup, oil/filter change and reprogramming of engine sensor. The service and checkup was performed in a timely manner. In checking the brakes, I was very pleased with the honest report that the brakes were in good shape and that the car did not require brakes at this time. Being honest and not charging for unnecessary work is definitely a hallmark. Keep up the great work and service.

The staff was amazing I met with the sales manager I think her name was Kerry so nice straight shooter no pressure then I was with her sales associate who was the same as her very nice easy to speak no fast talk or gimmicks. I was beyond pleased with this dealership.

Bunch of really rude people trying to run a dealership, one of the reasons these dealerships will go the way of the Dodo. Manufacturers should just use the direct to consumer sales model, so normal people can avoid dealing with the worst of the human kind.

Was interested in a car I saw on the website. I called and was told it was still available, so I decided to go down to look at it. When I got there about 20 minutes later and asked to see it, I was told it was sold. The guy helping us never even introduced himself and was extremely rude. Ended up going to Bay Shore Nissan and had a much better experience.

I want to compliment the team at South Shore Nissan. I was in a bind, my old 2007 murano had a catastrophic drive train failure. Thankfully the team of South Shore Nissan totally hooked me up. The service group gave me several options to repair. Based on that I decided to purchase a new vehicle. The selection was great, I found a certified car for less than market price. The best part was the everyone jumped into action. The process was easy and everyone pitched in. I test drove 5 cars, then was able to immediately purchase, within 2 hours I drove off with a new car. The website pricing is AFTER a $2000 DOWN PAYMENT***Nevertheless the guy I spoke to, Thomas, was very upfront about the down payment and the fees and told me as soon as I arrived so I appreciate that. Potential buyers please figure out the actual price before coming in especially fees.
