Great, family focused school. The instructors get to know the students on an individual level, meeting then where they are and puzzling out the best way to teach each student in conjunction with one another. There is a balance of discipline and fun, keeping students focused and engaged, while teaching them to respect themselves and others.Amherst Karate Studio has also done an amazing job maintaining flexibility, professionalism, and a positive attitude throughout the pandemic, teaching their students not to focus on what they cant do, but to focus on what they can and are doing.

Mr. Peacock and his staff are absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is warm and family friendly, but this is first and foremost a school of karate! They hands down provide the finest Kenpo instruction in the area. My son started shaky as a leaf and now displays great confidence and has pride in himself. Thank you Amherst Karate!

I am extremely pleased with the lessons my daughter has received from Mr. Peacock. He has a excellent system for kids (and adults) with real results. In no way is this a baby sitting kind of school, they will learn Karate and valuable outside the school skills e.g. discipline, respect, control, etc. I cant recommend him enough.
