We ordered the walkin’ Halo through Amazon. The item was not built with the same hardware that it was advertised with in photos and videos. We had the item 1 week. The clips kept coming undone and our dog walked into everything in its path. We tried to return through Amazon as directed and was denied a refund we called the company directly and they would not authorize a return even though the item was used three times and was essentially new condition. Because of that customer service and the quality of the product I am leaving a bad review. If the company was either able to fix the problem with the clips or return the item they would have gotten a good review. I would recommend anyone with a bad experience from this company to contact the Better Business Bureau and/or the Attorney General

The measurements on the website are all wrong. Given my dogs waist and chest measurements and weight I ordered an XL in the full harness. Customer service called me to let me know that I should order the Large instead. The front harness is a little big but passable, but the rear harness is way too big. I cant return it because my dog peed on it and frankly it is too expensive to order a smaller one that will fit correctly.

Ordered the wheelchair harness for our 10 yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback who has DM. The ordering process is easy to follow, shipping was great, and the product appears to be quite sturdy. Our dog was able to use it the very first day. Will update this rating later if I have any issues with the product quality, but so far my dog is loving it and were very pleased with that purchase. Also, the company sent us a link to watch a product demo as well as a how to video to help us with the chairs assembly... very thoughtful!

Awesome customer service! The harness I ordered ended up being a little too big. They quickly helped me exchange it for the next size down. Harness seems to be great quality, as well!

The post office screwed up, so the package arrived a day late. It was worth waiting for. It took a couple of days to see the improvement in my dogs walking after putting on the hock brace, but the support has been obvious as she is moving far more fluidly. The brace was very simple to put on and works really well. It is tolerated very well. She hasnt attempted to remove it at all. I am very pleased.

Had some trouble with the post office delivering my package but the company shipped out a new order via FedEx and I got it within 3 days of calling. They were great with my delivery issue and apologized even though it was out of their hands.The product came packaged nicely with great directions for assembly(with photos) and directions to introduce your pet to it while making sure they are comfortable with the equipment. Rudi, our newly blind dog, is used to wearing cloths so he was fine with the vest. We have been using the halo daily for increasing amounts of time and can already see his confidence growing in the house! He is wagging his tail more, taking longer strides when walking, and has his head up while walking. When we put it on him for first time it was like he knew we were trying to help him. The halo is very lightweight which is important as Rudi is only 7 pounds. One thing I was a little worried about was the other dogs reactions to it but they are all just rolling with it too. It helps to keep them out of his way as well!All in all we are thrilled and will be recommending this halo to everyone and anyone that asks! Rudi got his spunk back!!!!

Theyre doing really amazing work. My pup got one of their wheelchairs. We had a lot of trouble with fitting after visiting a few different vets, each telling us completely different and contradictory adjustments that we should make to the cart. I got fed up and went straight to Walkin Pets. They spent so much time with us in person, extremely patient, painstakingly adjusting things minutely to ensure a great fit. My pup walked away running, looking and feeling great! Its been such a difficult and heartbreaking journey dealing with her Degenerative Myelopathy progression. They made a huge difference. Compassionate work matters. Im grateful!

I messed up while assembling this for my dog, so I originally did a 4 star review. The thing that didnt seem to work well was entirely my fault! After a while I finally called and the issue was diagnosed in about 5 seconds! The person who helped me was entirely knowledgeable and immediately knew how to help. Now that that has been figured out, this wheelchair has changed our lives. My 10 year old boxer has DM, and because of this awesome product, shes allowed to enjoy her days still. I do not know how much longer we have, but without this wed have been forced to put her down several months ago. Thank you so so much for creating such an amazing product for dogs like mine.

The harness was complicated to put together. Not as sturdy as I had hoped. I am not sure if I am going to keep as II currently use a front harness only which is easier to put on. I was looking for some additional support on her back end, the reason I purchased the harness. I di receive the harness in a quick manner.

The customer service was great and very helpful. My dog was only able to wear the boots a few times though, as he passed away shortly after we got them, from a heart problem his breed is prone to—plus old age. He was able to walk in them and let us put them on him without fussing so that was huge as he had a great deal of anxiety about us putting anything on his feet. This company seems to definitely care for the animals they help. I would recommend them.

My dog who is 14 has a neurological issue and doesnt have full control of her hind legs anymore. We had a flimsy set of wheels for her and then I found Walkin Pets! The quality is so so worth the investment. 💖

We have large Weimaraner (14-1/2 yrs old) who has DM. Until recently she was able to walk some but has lost use of her back legs in that they can no longer support her weight. Bought a wheel chair and first set of wheels (largest) were just slightly too tall so purchased next smaller size and they work much better. Service was good, shipping was fast, product is very well engineered. We also ordered the front and rear harness and thought they were difficult to adjust and get hooked up to wheel chair. It took too long and dog was not happy and probably tired from being held up and jostled around so we used harness supplied with chair and that worked better in terms of getting in and out quicker. We are still on learning curve but at least she is outside walking around a couple times a day for 5-10 minutes. She can be with our other dogs and she seems to really like that. Would recommend this product and this company.

This cart has been wonderful for our German shepherd, Monty. He loves his walks! The cart was easy to assemble. We had to use treats the first time to get Monty into it, but now as soon as he sees us getting out the harness and leash, he is so happy. We had an issue with a piece that broke but customer service was extremely easy to reach and sent us a new piece right away. Thank you for giving Monty the ability to go on his walks again.

I liked the splint and booties. I originally ordered a front splint in a small and it fit but was a little bit too high on my dogs leg. Then I discovered the splint bootie and ordered 2 of them in a small as well, however, they were too wide. Trying to return them and get one of the booties on an xs but I haven’t heard back from you guys yet about my return.

My girl had a head injury that left her whole left side paralyzed. I contacted Handicapped Pets and arranged for her to get fitted for their Walkin’ Wheels quad chair. The gals took all the time we needed to outfit my Rainy properly for her chair. They made sure her sides did not rub on any of the supports. We also got one of their portable stretchers to carry her outside to potty and poop. It was so easy to use and I could get her outside without assistance other than the stretcher. Their lift harness, that also fits into the Walkin’ Wheels chair, made it so easy to lift her into and out of the chair. Without her Walkin’ Wheels, I don’t think we could have rehabbed her to the point where we no longer needed the chair. I am forever grateful they are around and have such good customer service. The staff made what could have been a very stressful event, easy to get through. Their thoughtful, professional and knowledgeable performance is top notch.

After intense research and consults with my pets vet, Im glad I chose Walkin Pets. My 6yr old mastiff has two ruptured cruciates and hip dysplasia. My baby is almost herself again and trying to trot and even run.Although Im not thrilled of the restocking fee, I was fortunate to not have to deal with it. Customer service is great, fast email replies with detail, answering every part to my email and questions. Im glad to know the staff is intellegent and acknowledge my questions and concerns to the T!As for the wheelchair. Its great. Adjusting to fit my baby is quite easy and sturdy. Almost like adjusting crutches with the push pin lock in place in multiple areas. Only dislike is that the harness slips occasionally and have to re-tighten which is a little tough with how the straps are weaved through the clips, but not a big deal. I love the aired up mountain bike tires to help with shock absorbing. It is also easy to fold up and take places. I like how the leg rings have multipurpose use. Its easy to let my girl go to the bathroom and not have a mess on the leg rings, just got to make sure her privates are not covered when shes placed in. The wheelchair is also easy to fold and bring along on trips.Ive already recommended someone to use Walkin Pets for their shar pei and they bought the camo one. She is also happy with it.

My daughters dog, Jaxson, recently was paralyzed in his hind quarter. This scooter provides him mobility and definately enhanced his life. He is happy and adjusting well to his new style of walking.

My girl Misty, was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis. In her case, there really wasnt any symptoms showing, she just one day collapsed and couldnt move. She has been in the vet hospital now for almost two months. Finally, with her determination, she has made significant improvement. With everyone assisting her, she is able to sit up and now able to walk a short distance. She will probably always have to use the wheelchair for the rest of her life but, as long as she is happy, Im happy! Regarding customer service:I bought a medium wheelchair from Walkin Pets. It turned out that a wheelchair, in general, was not going to work for my elderly dog. She passed shortly after I bought it, so I returned it. I received a partial refund even though I had followed all of the return policy, re-packaging, and shipping rules. I reached out to voice my concern and within 3 minutes received a response and full refund after they looked into my order and situation. That type of customer service is unmatched.

Received my order in a timely manner. The carpel splint is working well. Dog is most agreeable to wearing it. Washes well too.

I havent yet been able to use the wheels because I need to get xrays on Duncans leg to make sure it has healed properly. Good quality product. Delivered on time though UPS left it at the wrong address. Easy to assemble. Our dog was able to figure out how to walk in it within minutes with some food motivation. Has lots of adjustments to fit the dog well. Would definitely buy this wheel chair again. Good and sturdy with big wheels. Our dog is a 65 pound Doberman who is partially crippled but can still use her legs to some degree.

I purchased the belly belt for my dogs medium sized wheelchair. Since he has it on the lowest setting it was too large I called customer service to see if I could exchange it for a smaller size. Since they were uncertain if a small would fit on a medium wheelchair they were kind enough to go get an small belt and a medium wheelchair and test it out before shipping it to ensure that it would fit. Talk about going above and beyond to ensure customer and doggy satisfaction! I am always impressed with your products and amazing customer service.

We purchased a large dog wheel chair for our Golden Retriever. Product was nice. After assembly, the wheel spread was to large for our door ways. I returned it and was charge a 20% restocking fee and $13.00 for opened packages. I call and spoke to Jennifer in CS. Informed her I understand about restocking, but I though that was a little steep. She said she can transfer me to returns and discuss it with them. Transferred and phone call dropped, hmmm. Purchase price $414.00, return amount $309.00 (have to wait 2 billing cycles???) for money. Seems like a little much. Does include that $56.00 spent on USPS to return product. Oh and my dog still cant walk. Building her a wheel chair my self. Lost sale. lost customer.

Definitely the best dog wheels on the market for ease of use, great design, and tons of attachments and accessories as well. My boxer has the wheels and the ski attachments and both work great. You gave my dog new life and he wears the wheels and adjusted to them as if he never lost use of his rear legs. I have to speed walk and sonetimes run to keep up with him!

I recently bought the Heavy-Duty Support Harness for my 11 years old Picaso.... I Loved it.... and the most important He Loved it too. He was Diagnosed with severe arthritis and Diabetes, It was too hard for him to stand up. Thanks to this harness He can now go for long walks and it made it easier for me to lift him from the bed.I am grateful I found this site....I Recommended 100%. Works great, Fido, a golden lab or retriever/chow mix took to this contraption like a duck to water; and, hes improving rapidly now that he is gaining some strength in his hind quarters, which were affected by bone spurs in his spine. This recovery was aided by steroids to reduce the inflammation of the spinal nerves. Now, when hes not in his wheel chair, hes able to get around much better.

Excellent caring staff refitted my Corgis cart for her. We needed to add front wheels so she can continue to get around.

I recently ordered a replacement part and made a typo in the house number. I called when I got the receipt to advise of the error. The address was corrected but I probably did not call soon enough. I later called back to see if was shipped to the right address and was informed that it was not. The representative resent the order with an express delivery at no charge. This was great customer service considering it was my error.

This product did not work for my dog.I have a 14 year old arthritic black lab mix that is knuckling with his left back foot. The brace fit correctly. However, the rigidness, slickness and thickness of the plastic made it impossible for him to get up on his own. It kept slipping out from under him and when he did walk, with me picking him up, his braced leg was now slightly taller than his non-braced leg. It put too much strain on the rest of his body. We tried it out on both a carpeted and a wood floor surface. His foot did slip down in the brace a bit even with the limited use.Perhaps this is good for a dog that has a strong body and can get up on three legs.

The front harness size was way to big and too flimsy to walk the dog with paresis of front legs.

I ordered the xxsmall rear leg brace, or the smallest one, for a cat. The larger ones are for dogs. I have had the same kind of leg brace for the front leg before and they are very well made. The problem with these leg braces isithat they dont allow for swelling, so I cant put the leg brace on until the swelling goes down, and I really wish I could, because it would have been so helpful to put the leg in place while swollen to support it. They are wide enough on each end and then where the ankle is it gets so narrow and a swollen ankle will not fit. If I get the next size up for a cat then it is too long. I love the company however. I appreciate that they help us with the disabled at fair prices. It came quickly, but like I said, wont fit at the ankle. It fits on the cats good rear leg, so I wish they made a rear brace that firm but more flexible or wider at the ankle. :) Carol

Boomer is a 14 yr old Golden Retriever who has been having trouble with knuckling in his back paws. Weve used these knuckling socks for about a week now on both back legs and noticed improvement after about 3-4 days. He gets around in them very comfortably and without knuckling, and we do believe they are re-training his foot position. Weve noticed that he has been knuckling much less first thing in the morning when he gets up and walks down the hall to go outside (sockless); this is when his legs are at their weakest, and he would normally knuckle his way down the hall (and we would wince watching him). Its really great to watch him from behind and see some improvement. We realize that these magical socks will probably never cure him, but they certainly are helping him get around more comfortably and have reduced his knuckling when they are off. Weve tried a lot of different boots, socks, etc. and these are the best by far! The design makes so much sense!!

We need something that will secure our dogs splayed foot. Splint fits too high up leg. Is there something that secures foot but does not ride so high up leg.

I purchased the combination harness for my 10 year old dog who has disc degeneration & neuropathy in his front legs. The harness is GREAT! My only complaint is that it took over a week to receive, in spite of paying for expedited delivery. Otherwise, its an excellent product!

This is the only drag bag I use. The quality is not very good but there is no other choice. They dont last very long before the Velcro fails to work and I have to use tape the keep the bags on. The price is way to high for the quality. However, the drag bag is a great idea and works very well for my dog.

When I called for some assistance after messing up my order, the Walkin Pets customer service rep was so kind and helpful. Zero hassle or shame for the inconvenience. Shipping was so much faster than expected. The chair is an engineering marvel: it puts ikea furniture to shame - which means you need patience (or help) when fitting to your pet. The photos and videos of pets in their Walkin Wheels chairs brought tears to my eyes: hopefully my dog will be among them soon!

The product is great! The concept is wonderful, its easy to get my dog in and out of. But the ordering process has been quite a negative experience for us. Our German Shepherd puppy measures 13 inches at the fold. We ordered his first wheelchair came and the struts were 12 inches (bigger than him when attached to the chair!) and 16 inch wheels (MUCH BIGGER than he is.) There was no way he would fit in this for at least another 6 months which wasnt going to work. At 7 weeks old he already weighs 16 pounds. We called to explain the situation and they were really nice and helped set us up with more appropriately sized wheels and struts. When the new wheels and struts came, the wheels were 8 inches (which is a good size for him) but the struts were, again, 12 inches! On top of that, we got the foam wheels after explaining we wanted the air wheels NOT the foam because we are an outdoorsy family. We paid 40 dollars for something we already had! We paid to receive smaller struts. We didnt need 12 inch struts, we already had those! We had now gone nearly 2 weeks with our growing puppy not having a way to get around and he was quickly getting too big to carry around. Needless to say, we were becoming irritated. We could not continue to wait for more improper fitting components, constant trial and error. We finally decided to cut the struts down ourselves and made due with what we have. The staff is friendly and the wheelchair is great but I feel there is a lack of understanding between customer and staff as to of what sizes are needed. A 12 inch strut most certainly will not work for a puppy that barely stands at 15 inches. I wish you better luck ordering than we had.

We ordered a brace for our dog that caused a rubbing wound that bled only after a few minutes of use. We ordered a different model, thinking that might work better for him, but it did the same thing. The metal edge was not properly cushioned. My husband is an amputee himself, so he has years of experience with similar things and managed to come up with a cushion that works, but its still a design flaw. We called to tell them about it, and were met with a very rude person who was only interested in telling us we couldnt get our money back or exchange it because it was too far past the time we purchased it. WE DIDNT CALL TO RETURN IT -- WE CALLED TO INFORM THEM OF THE PROBLEM. They just didnt care and were awful to deal with. Funny that the hold message touted nothing but how much they care .... they dont.

I have a very badly arthritic dog that cannot walk any long distances. My husband ordered the walkin wheels hoping it would assist her. My husband saw that they advertised a 14 day trial period and figured it was worth the try. The unit comes boxed in many parts and was incredibly difficult to put together. Unfortunately, she would not move in the wheelchair. When we finally were able to get her to move...she fell over in the uneven areas where we walk. If putting it together was difficult...reboxing it was just as bad. They did advertise a 14 day trial, but the fine print states they could charge up to a 35% restocking fee (which came out to be $139.00)
