We have ordered from Celebrations for grad parties and a few other events over the past several years. They have been extremely timely with their delivery and everything we’ve ordered has been as promised and exactly as expected. Great variety of table linen colors! The owners are very willing to work with you if you need any type of customization or special requests. Love supporting local business as well!

I have used Celebrations many times for my party needs and have always had an awesome experience! Their customer service is great and they go above and beyond to make sure that you are happy! They have a fabulous selection of items, not only on the retail side, but also on the rental side. I would highly recommend them for all your party needs!

Had seen this building a few times just driving by, and decided to stop in and see what they had for balloons as we were celebrating a relatives birthday later in the day. They had a pretty decent selection and we were helped by a very friendly gal! She attended to customers in the order they came in and we were acknowledged while we waited a bit :) She did an awesome job maintaining flow and taking care of everyone. She also made our little bunch of balloons look super cute :) We will be coming back!

When I first reserved chairs for my outdoor wedding I was not advised that delivery was not available. When I called to confirm the number of chairs we needed, then I was told that there was no delivery available that date. The person I spoke to on that call, laughed the whole call through. When I was unable to arrange to get them picked up and called to cancel the rental, I was told there would be no refund at all. I would not recommend doing business with these people.

I have rented from Celebrations many times over the years for graduations and banquets. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The products they rent are high in quality. I would recommend them!

Weve rented tables and chairs from Celebrations a couple of times as well as picked up items for parties and Celebrations is a great place. When you have a little one or little ones, this is a great resource to accommodating hoards of kids for birthday parties and other events. The staff is always very friendly and quick so loading up equipment and then returning equipment goes smoothly.

More than hats, horns and streamers, this place has every party supply from tables and chairs to chocolate fountains and coffee urns. And, there are some eclectic selections inside too. Cool place, nice folks.

They were helping with insuring I was able to get the tables and chairs I needed for my wedding. They loaded them for me and offered to let me pay over the phone. The price was much cheaper than was I was offered in Boone so I was happy they could help me.

Seamless experience working with these guys! I chose them as my chair vendor at my wedding and everything went great! the chairs were great quality and the most inexpensive I found while shopping around! Definitely recommend!

The crew that came out to our venue to set up the tent was very nice and easy to work with. They worked very quick. When we realized that we were missing a table and a side wall, they corrected it right away and brought it to us the very next day. The decorations we rented were in great condition and at a great price!

This place has gone down hill, at the train depo they were more organized and everything was neat. The new store is dark and items are literally thrown on the shelf and not even priced. I always bought balloons at party time and the process was easy and organized not here! Seems they only are interested in the rental side of the business now.

Great rental prices, but the columns we picked up were filthy and scuffed up with black marks. We had to clean them with a magic eraser before we could have them at the wedding ceremony. I personally feel what we rent is at least given to us clean.

Nicole helped me figure out balloons for a birthday party and then went above and beyond to make sure we didn’t miss the pick-up when we didn’t show up on time. So thankful for the outstanding customer service!

Oh boy, do I wish that I could properly express my anger via text. At first approach this place is amazing! Friendly and willing to help you out. But then you actually use their service...We were married on a Saturday morning. Our chairs, an arch, and other things were rented from this location. A fee was paid in order for them to pick up on that day since it was the weekend. All was fine and dandy until the next even showed up to pick it all up. Originally it was sometime before 3. Then it turned into 7, which was HOURS after the wedding. My grandparents who flew all the way from California stayed around for 4 hours sitting in their car waiting for them since we werent allowed to leave the location. Shocking no one at this point, they changed 7 to 9.My husband and I woke up the next morning to an impatient phone call from the venue. The items were still there. The supposed emergency contact wouldnt answer their phone and the main Ames location was closed. If it werent for my father-in-law having a truck and trailer to get it off location we dont know what we would have done. This has been a huge damper on what should have been a relaxing wedding.

We rented some chairs and a cake stand for our wedding and both were way prettier than i had expected and looked better than they had in the online picture. The chairs were cheaper than any other place, but I honestly felt like the cake stand was overpriced even if it was very pretty. would definitely recommend them though.

Unprofessional staff offering poor customer service. Dont rent from here if youd like to have your order actually filled. We were a regular customer of Party Time and never had any issues, but apparently changing the name to Celebrations means its ok to forget to place customer orders and then not even attempt to do anything to make it right for you. Good thing other tent companies actually care about customer service. Bye, Celebrations, your ineptitude just lost you a regular customer.

I am the grandpa in this didnt pick up when you PROMISED debacle. We gave you plenty of time to pick your equipment up on Saturday. Not only didnt anyone show up as you agreed to.....no one called to tell us they werent coming. You were as rude and arrogant on the phone to me as you possibly could be to me, A PAYING CUSTOMER. You threatened to bill my credit card for anything stolen because it had to sit out overnight at the Walnut Woods lodge, because no one showed to pick it up. I had to put a stop payment order on my credit card. And because of your incompetence I made three separate 30 mile round trips to the venue waiting for the $180 Saturday pick up that never happened . While the rest of my family had a post wedding gathering at our hotel. I missed that. The last trip, my fourth, was early Easter Sunday, my granddaughters first day married, and there she and her new husband were, lugging your chairs to load in a hastily borrowed truck. Thanks a whole lot for that. You also told us that because of your screw up we would be getting a refund, which is the only decent thing to do. WHERE IS THAT REFUND? Its now June and we havent seen it. That was just another one of your lies. One of many Im afraid.Beware future customers......these people charge $180 extra to pick up their own equipment on SATURDAY!!! Isnt that when most weddings are held? So you could be next. There must be one better place in Des Moines to do business with?

Had a small order for a bridal shower. Somehow, through there fault or my own miscommunication, the order ended up at the Ames location instead of West Des Moines. They promptly offered to let me cancel or have it dropped of at the WDM location by 9 am the next day. Business can not be mistake free, but if they do everything they can to fix it then they are a good place to to business with.

I mostly bought balloons. They were normal-sized latex and were $2 each, but that saved me from having to buy a helium machine and blow them up myself- which the helium machine would have cost about the same as the 12 balloons I bought anyhow.Im only giving it 4 stars because the other items they sell are pretty pricey, although thats somewhat expected.
