Tried to call when my friend locked his keys, wallet, and phone in the trunk of his car. They said they needed a card on file and told me many times they they would not run the card till the service was completed so we could put my card down then calling back and giving them his card info once the trunk was open. I gave them my card cause they said they need one on file to send a lock smith, but then tried to immediately run my card(kept telling me the card came back declined, I dont normally keep much on it to make sure this kinda thing doesnt happen) when they told me that they dont run cards till after the service is completed. I dont recommend them unless you expect to be lied to within 5 minutes, my whole conversation with them was about 10-11 minutes long.

Service is terrible! I called to have a car key reprogrammed at 5pm. I waited 3 hours and still had no correspondence with the technician once, they sent me 3 texts to call the office phone number, which is subcontracted out. You do not deal with the actual technician, it’s a 3rd party. So after 3 calls and being on hold for 30mins with no contact back from the technician I’ve finally given up and will be using a different service.

Good idea and cool technology, since it seems that most hardware stores dont have anyone to cut new keys anymore. Kinda pricey for what it is (about $2-3/key - more if you want a fancy design), but my keys I had copied seem to work good and Im sure once they are worn in a bit they will really work well. One suggestion for the KeyMe folks if youre listening, maybe warn the customer how long it is going to take for the machine to cut the new keys you want. I ordered 5 keys, and it took a good while (idk, maybe 2-3 minutes a key) to cut out. This isnt really a big deal at all, I guess I was just expecting it to a be little quicker. I felt kinda awkward sitting by the machine for 15 minutes, and also felt like I couldnt leave and come back since they were keys to my house.

Called to fix the lock on my truck. Was told the person coming out would discuss cost. I was told it would be 80-120 depending on if it had to be replaced. I told them I would do it somewhere else, that was too expensive. Then they charged me a 30 dollar fee for coming out and doing nothing. You have to tell people up front if you have those fees.Update: after telling me they would like to resolve this, I emailed them and they told me they outsourced the job, so I would have to go talk to another company. If you can outsource the job, you can work with them for a resolution. This is pathetic and lazy service

I used a self serve kiosk to make a duplicate building key. It was extremely easy to use and the key worked perfectly!

Easy to use. Keys all worked great. Only suggestion would be it would be nice to have more color choices on lower priced items.

I had to call the support number because two keys were not duplicated correctly. They answered right away and went above and beyond to take care of my issue. Super A++ for that level of support. But there were some issues with the kiosk.(1) I tried to remake the bad keys by rescanning from scratch and they came out bad again. Im not sure if the kiosk was having trouble reading the key, or what the problem was. I am assuming there is an issue with this particular kiosk.(2) There is a user interface issue saving the key to your account when you have more than one different key duplicated in a session. The interface didnt ask me to name each key before it was made. The generic names after they were made did not identify which key was which, therefore the saved keys needed to be deleted. Two of the saved keys were bad, and one was a good. The interface on the kiosk should be improved.

Whoever it was came in their plain clothes, personal car, did not even introduce himself or who he worked for, was just digging at our door frame and needed to use my tools. He left without finishing the job and claimed he had to go do other calls but he could come back later when he was done with those. He left us with no door knob or way to lock our door. I would never ever ever call this company again. Very disappointed. They should send the money we paid them to the lock smith we had to call to actually do the work he was supposed to do.
