Got several tattoos here. I absolutely love Parker and his work. Prices are extremely reasonable. The line work was on point. And I love all my pieces. Definitely will be returning to Parker from now on.

Ive had only good experiences here. This is the only place I got for piercings or tattoos. Kara did amazingly well with all of my piercings, as well as my 13 year old daughter and my 9 year old son for their ears!

I got my first tattoo here, and I’m so impressed with my experience. Kaylee was so welcoming and kind, I 100% recommend her! I was expecting to spend about $300-$400 as tattoos usually run pricey & at the end she told me it was only $100! I was so appreciative that I tipped $150. It really is worth that. I got a tattoo that to everyone I showed told me it should have been a lot more than what I paid based on the high quality. I personally was expecting it to be around $100-$150 more than I had to pay. It’s incredible work from the color to the finite details and shading.Very very impressed all around from the atmosphere to all of the staff and lastly to the art itself. Absolutely come here and give your hard earned dollars because it’s worth it, and you’ll leave with cash still in your wallet after getting a great deal and great service.
Went here yesterday with my friend. she got a cartilage piercing and a nose piercing. i got my stud changed out for a hoop and i got two tattoos! everything was clean and sterile and my artist, Parker, was amazing! it was my first tattoo and he made me feel super comfortable and led me through the process. the girls at the front desk were super helpful and very friendly and funny. everyone was wearing masks. pricing was fair and overall we were both happy. would definitely come again!!

I have always made the mistake of getting my ear piercings at Claries. But the last time I went I got the worst ear infections. This was my first time going to a professional shop and I fell in love. The atmosphere so calm and so chill. I went with a friend and I love the all girl staff that was there. They really made the experience fun and made me forget my nerves. Also found out that one of the staff is the childhood friend of a college friend. 100,000 / 10 will go again!
Ive been to Heroic for 1 large thigh tattoo and LOVE IT. Im going back this weekend for another 2. They have amazing hours, customer service, and a clean shop ON TOP of AMAZING artists.
It was a very nice place. Seemed very clean and organized. I got my nose pierced and it was all done in less than five minutes. My only complaint is I wish I got more instructions on cleaning and the healing process.

Caity is an absolutely amazing tattoo artist! She did a vine of roses up my forearm and I couldn’t be happier with it. The shading she did on the roses is seriously phenomenal. She is also hilarious and I loved spending four hours of my afternoon with her. I think I laughed almost the entire appointment! The rest of the staff is also very friendly and cool. Great experience, I would highly recommend!
Had James do my first and second tattoo ever, turned out amazing! He and I chatted throughout the whole process of getting my tattoos and it really left a good impression on me about the place. I will definitely come back again in the future! I also got my piercings done here and the lady was really nice and affable! I love this place. They are very sanitary and safe. They don’t use the gun piecer and use a needle which is way more safer and less painful. I have never gotten a tattoo here, but the options of designs are spectacular. Overall, this place is very nice. If you want a piercing or a tattoo, I would 100% recommend this place.

I went in for a gift card for my daughter and came out with a consultation for ink. The staff had a little trouble with the gift card processing but knew I was on a tight timeline so they wasted no time in calling in for help and getting me on my way. With numerous apologies, I truly knew that they felt badly for what was only a minor glitch and that made a world of difference. The shop itself is gorgeous, even if youre not in the market for a tattoo or piercings you have to go in and see Hugos art work, his talent is incredible.
Absolutely loved this place. Got my very first tattoo ever, the atmosphere so friendly and warm. When I needed a break in getting inked Emily was super nice and let me take as long as I needed. I just got a tattoo from here yesterday and it turned out GREAT!! I am absolutely in love with it! The environment is super professional and everyone is nice. James did my tattoo and it was a whole forearm piece that took just an hour. The whole time, he made conversation and cracked jokes. It helped me to relax because it was my first tattoo. The prices are low as well, which is awesome because of how great the quality of the tattoos are. Definitely going to make this the place I go for my future tattoos!!
Had two piercings done on either side of my ears. The staff was very well trained and had done the piercings semi pain-free. There is going to be some pain when you get piercings, that much cant be avoided. However, everybody was nice and the prices were reasonable and I still have the piercings to this day.
At the age of 62 I got my first tattoo in honor of my late husband. Jake did a wonderful job and I am very happy with it. Everyone there is fun and professional. The shop was clean and well organized. Thank you for making this experience amazing for me.

Im giving a shout out to above and beyond for the employees at Heroic Ink.I decided I did not like my nose piercing and came in to have it removed. My body didnt like the pain and decided my blood pressure was going to plummet which has happened to me before. She took her time and helped me through the process until I got back to feeling better. She knew exactly what to do even though I felt like an idiot.Ill never go anywhere else for piercing or tats now. Thank you guys!!
I did a lot of research as I wanted a shen men piercing in my ear. After asking a lot of people, Heroic Ink was the top place named by a long shot. I called and they said I didnt need an appointment since the person trained was there. So I took my 12 year old with me.Walking into Heroic Ink, I was so thrilled to see how clean and organized the shop was. They remembered my phone call and after filling out a form, I was taken right back with my daughter.Everything was steril and i was extremely impressed and professional. Within 15 min, the piercing was done, paid for and out the door. I will be coming back again!

Out of all the tattoo and piercing shops I’ve been to, Heroic Ink has the best environment and nicest staff. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and makes you feel comfortable in a situation that can be extremely stress inducing. I had Jake tattoo this too shall pass on my rib cage. it was my first tattoo, he made me feel very comfortable. while he did forget to close the p on my tattoo, i will be going in to get it fixed. just make sure you look a little closer than i did!

Easy appointment setup. Mump did the sickest, most realistic side piece. 4 1/2 hrs of pain, but well worth it. I have multiple tattoos and this is the best place and best artist by far. Well worth the cost. I would recommend anyone thinking of getting a tattoo to go here. I will be referring all my family and friends to Heroic Ink.

I just recently went into Heroic to get my lip pierced and unfortunately had to take it out. My lip was pierced on a complete angle and the plate inside my mouth was basically up on my lip. Don’t get me wrong, my experience at the salon was a good one but it just sucks I couldn’t keep the piercing in due to it being done wrong.
James is a great tattoo artist. I got my first tattoo 2 weeks ago and have already gone back for a second and have an upcoming appointment for my 3rd tattoo. I would definitely recommend going here!

The only place in Iowa that I will go to get a tattoo or piercing. The business was super clean and the staff extremely friendly! I walked in with a card from my grandmother in extremely small handwriting and Tracy made it look fanominal! Not only did she help to size up the writing but she was knowledgeable about how large the writing needed to be in order to keep it looking fresh for as long as possible. I also have a piercing from Heroic which I love almost 4 years later. Their work is astounding, definitely recommend anyone at Heroic for your tattoo or piercing needs!
I have been there 10 or more times and Ive never had a bad experience! Their piercers are honest and very knowledgeable. I had James do a touch up on my tattoo and he was great! My favorite place by far!
Went in for a conch piercing 3 months ago. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Prices were fair, this is why Im giving them 2 stars. A week after my piercing I was keeping into contact with the shop about my doubts on the jewelry and placement of piercing and was assured everything was fine. Today I went to an APP shop in my hometown and they removed the piercing due to the piercing jewelry being too small to accommodate any swelling and shallow placement of the piercing. Still giving heroic ink 2 stars for the awesome staff and their prices. Plus, Ive had friends who had great experiences. Just sucks mine wasnt one of them

My friend and I called Saturday morning after Thanksgiving to make appointments for our tattoos. We submitted the art as instructed by the front desk person. He said he would give it to his artist and have him work the drawing. My friend wanted some simple hand lines and we were told no problem on the phone. I told him I wanted specifically with a feminine touch. I was told also, no problem. When we arrived we filled out appropriate paperwork and proceeded to meet with the artist James. He told my friend strait up he doesnt do finger or hand art for reasons of fading and some other lame excuse he offered. Extremely disappointed my friend finally accepted his refusal to do the work. When I proceeded to speak to James about mine I was shown a trace drawing of the picture I sent in. I said I was hoping you would add a feminine touch to the picture I sent. He looked at me and gestured to his penis saying I have a penis. To me this meant he cant add a feminine touch because he is a man or the length of his artistic ability is equivalent to the length of his penis. Either way I was offended and disgusted at the conduct of the entire office. Why make an appointment with an artists that does not want to do the work? I would never recommend this place to anyone. Worst experience!!
