Computer Rehab gave me exceptional service today! My dads computer had a blown power supply. I took it elsewhere for diagnosis first and was told it would be near impossible to find the type of power supply I needed and if they could find such a scarce power supply it would cost $150-$200. I went home and found the power supply plentiful on Amazon for about $23 plus shipping. I really wanted to get my dad up and running without waiting another week for a part to ship, so I looked for another PC repair place and found Computer Rehab late on a Friday night. They had the power supply I needed for $40 + tax getting my dad back in business immediately. I installed the power supply and had him up and running within an hour. The other place just wanted to sell me a computer. I dont think they really loved me and had my best interest in mind, if you know what I mean. They did give me a free PC cleaning for which I am thankful. But Computer Rehab got me the part I needed at a fair price and immediately. It is a great place to get real caring and concern for your pocket book, your time, and your computer. They really do care about you and show it through their service and pricing. The technician was diligent in keeping me updated on the progress of the repairs I needed done. Every time I was told that I would receive a phone call or other form of update, I received one. I was very impressed with the service and friendly staff. I had checked at Simply Mac who was two whole weeks out and would have been more expensive. Computer Rehab was just two days, actually a day and a half, and I was very happy with their flat rate service policy. Couldnt be more satisfied in every regard with the expert and professional staff at Computer Rehab!!!Incidentally, I find the one star review regarding that soldering issue to be very suspicious. Im confident that if two professionals decline service for reason stated that a non-professional could not do it successfully. If so, he would have done it himself in the first place. I am very satisfied with Computer Rehab! My little brother-in-law installed a pretty nasty virus on my laptop so I took it to Computer Rehab (after almost getting ripped off by another larger computer store). The customer service is great and they were really fast! They were able to save all my files and now my computer is working better then it has been for a long time. They are also very affordable and easy going. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Im very impressed with Computer Rehab. The speed and quality of work is 10/10, the price is affordable, and the guy who works there is friendly and knowledgeable.My laptop had been running slowly for several months, which was frustrating considering it was fairly new and in great condition when we bought it. I suspected there was an error with windows, but don’t have enough computer knowledge to fix it myself. We brought it in to Computer Rehab and it was fixed within four days. Not only did he fix the problem, he updated the drivers and cleaned out all the unnecessary junk software. The laptop that used to take 2-3 minutes to turn on now turns on within 10 seconds. Great repair shop! They were very friendly, and knowledgeable. Said my computer would be done in a couple days and they got it done early! Great job helping to trouble shoot a problem on my computer that would have taken me a multitude of hours. Price was excellent for the work involved. It did take 2-3 days longer to troubleshoot the issue than I was expecting, but overall Im quite happy with the result. Would highly recommend this company.

Writing this to protect other people. Took my computer for repair a while back. I waited about 2 months, not following up much because I was patient, after that would call in, text, and leave VMs. No response to follow up, its been well over 7 months and nothing. This guy pretty much stole my laptop, and i filed a police report. For months hes been working out of a temp location. Wouldnt be surprised if he pawned or sold it. Dont go here, most businesses would be better

Computer Rehab is the BEST place for service, repair and parts. You can get your geeks at big box, but I will continue to take my 7, 8, and 9 year old computers to Computer Rehab. David is knowledgeable, up to date on all technology and he always wants to provide what is needed. Ive have always had excellent service and Dave has been honest with me . I took a lap top in to get running and was told that he could get it working again ,but it wouldnt be worth the money. Software was outdated and no updates were available for it . He was upfront with me and honest about it . My computer was custom built for me and he has since moved, Dave was able to figure it out and get it working for me again . Has since taken my mother-in-laws tower in to get it repaired, was a simple fix. Highly recommend computer rehab to everyone !!! Very fairly priced in my opinion!!

I was really happy with my service here. I was having a hard time finding somewhere to deal with my 6 year old laptop, which needed general cleaning up and help to make it faster. They have a little storefront on the older Main St in American Fork. They were prompt, friendly, and I liked that it was a flat rate because I wasnt sure what might be wrong with the computer. I would definitely recommend the business, and if I had another problem I would go back.

Gave a desktop and a laptop to them yesterday and got both back the very next day. I live in Provo and have been going to American Fork every time I have an issue. Great service. I love the communication. They text and leave detailed messages instead of the quick, call us back when you can type of responses. Awesome Job and computer works like magic. They also teach/train you on tips to better take care of your systems.

The job was begun quickly and finished equally fast. The thing I liked best was the feedback. Each time some issue was discovered, the technician/owner called me with the finding and the consequences for getting the work done and the costs. I think this is an excellent way to do business and I commend the owner. Also the prices were not too steep and he listened to my description of the problem which helped me buy-in to the solution. GREAT JOB!

They were quick and efficient. I really appreciate them getting to my assignment on my computer that would not fully boot, and getting it to me before it was due. Of course, backing up the assignment would have saved me from the mess in the first place; but as I had not done so they rescued me. Their description of the problem also was insightful: hitting the power button to force shut down when it was not functioning well triggered its failure to even boot fully. With such insight, I can hopefully avoid having such a problem ever again.

I was just missing a few screws on my laptop screen that holds it together and the young lady that helped me was great. She found some screws and tightened it up and didnt charge me. The gentleman she helped in front of me was having some driver problems and she told him how how to download the drivers himself so she would not have to charge him to do it. They really look out for your interest rather than just theirs.

There has only been one time my the problem couldnt get fixed (issue with getting the right parts) and I didnt pay anything for it. Always top quality work for a great price. I brought our desktop to Computer Rehab last year. We did not think it was salvageable, but they cleaned it up and brought it back to life. They were really easy to work with and very fast. So when our other computer--a laptop--died last week, I brought it right in to them. They fixed it in just a couple of days. I think the price is very reasonable. I might bring all of our computers to them once a year just to keep them cleaned up.

We are always greeted warmly and asked about the computer problems, of which we have many. The problems are fixed in a timely manner and we are called back quickly. We are so very glad to have a computer fixer so close to home and one who has prices we can afford. We would never take our computer to anyone else or ask anyone else computer questions. He simply is the best go to computer person around.

All employees are very pleasant and helpful. I didnt know to clean off google pictures etc. but they did it overnight. Sometimes I forget Alpine Lock moved East up main street and randomly show up here. The people are nice and dont berate me for my stupidity! I took my iMac in about six months ago for a repair. I had the computer back within a few days and everything was working great until recently the same problem started happening again. I was told I had a 1 year warranty so now I’m trying to take it back to computer rehab for a warranty repair and I can’t seem to get a hold of anybody. I’ve called and left multiple voicemails. I have texted and am not getting any response whatsoever. They either went out of business or they are just ignoring my attempts to reach them. This is a big shame either way.

Dave was a great help in cleaning up my laptop. It was so corrupted with add ons that it took so many minutes to try and get on that I finally quit using it. So grateful that this place was close by. Priced much more competitively than other places in the area and the service was quick. Its nice that he allows texts too since I was at work and couldnt call. I will go here over and over again.

Told them what the issue was with my laptop but after opening it up to take a look he made made it sound like there was no hope to fixing it. I appreciated his honesty but he didnt give me many options after looking at the issue. I ended up buying my own tools and then fixed the problem myself. Now my laptop is working great.The other thing was that when I took my laptop to them, there was no cosmetic damage and it had never been opened before. However when I got it back, there were scuff marks on the top of the laptop (behind the screen) and I found that some screws were missing.

I have found the place that Ill be going whenever I have a computer issue! Dave was awesome, communicated in very clear language about what was wrong with my computer and he fixed the problem! He also gave me some recommendations for software that will help in the future. The nightmare of having hard drive issues was eradicated and Dave fixed everything for a great price.When I got my laptop back, it had been wiped down and cleaned as well and the battery was fully charged for me. My laptop had a DC jack issue, so I looked around the valley for a repairman. I texted these guys and immediately felt comfortable about letting them work on it. They do competent work at reasonable prices. However Ive come twice during their supposed open hours and theyve been closed. They are not open on Saturdays. Its been inconvenient to make a trip here and then have them not be open.

Ive had them replace a cracked screen on a laptop and most recently replace a hard drive that was going bad. The Price was told to me upfront and was fairly reasonable. Work was done quick and efficiently.

Everything runs great now, I brought in a SSD and he told me it would be done by early next week to replace it, and he had it done fairly early in the morning Monday (I dropped it off 2 hours before close on Saturday). He was very fast, called me to let me know that he couldnt recover the data (nothing that was his fault) and told me about several places where I could go for data recovery. I only paid a total of $200 (SSD and the replacement of the hard drive) for a half terabyte of Solid State Memory.Fast, friendly, and doesnt break your bank. In my panic, when my computer wouldnt start, I forgot to tell the guy (sorry forgot name) about the other problems my computer has been having with error messages which occasionally pop up or a printer I no longer have, but the computer doesnt seem to know that, and a few other errors. So I asked him to please not lose my pictures or other files and to get my computer running. I decided against calling him back and asking him for more because $49 isnt very much.When I went in to get my computer, not only was it running perfectly, but he had done all of the above and more. I was thinking about just getting a new computer because of all these problems, but its working perfectly now and Im thrilled.Thank you!!!

Fantastic customer service and pricing. Even came in outside business hours so I could drop off my tower. I took in my custom gaming desktop i built a few years ago with blue screen issues and they got it working again. It did start to have issues later that could not be explained and they even offered a refund which I did not accept because of the amount of time they put into my desktop. Our computer was slow and full of adware and pop ups, the sound had stopped working as well. We were thinking that we might need to buy a new computer. The owner was very helpful, he knew right away which games my daughter had downloaded that had caused the problems. He cleaned it up and fixed the sound and installed avast for us. So far the computer is as good as new. Its working great and it is much faster. The owner seemed honest and the price was more than fair. So I dropped my laptop off Oct 25th it the fan was haiving issues, when I went in to clean it up, I accidentally blacked out half the screen, so I took it in.I know theyre busy, but its currently Dec 3rd and I still dont have it back yet, they were unable to find out what was wrong, ( and to be fair, a lot of that time was just waiting for ordered parts, thats not their fault)My main issues was communication, there were never updates, and when I would call or text, there was either no answer or reply (this is during business hours, and it would often be a full week after texting/calling with no response) or when there was an answer, very few details given.It was about 3-4 days ago, they gave up on fixing it, and told me in text that they would just be putting it back together, and asked if I would need data recovery.I replied immediately saying data recovery is not required (I can hook it up to another moniter and it works fine) but I asked if they could replace the old fanThat was 3-4 days ago, and I still have yet to get a reply...So overall, they were unable to find what was wrong/fix it (this may not be their fault, it could be a difficult issue)Its been over a month (likely due to shipping time)And communication has honestly been poorUpdate: it is now December 7th we finally just picked up the laptop to take it somewhere else, however, they explained it no longer starts up properly.They didnt charge us, but niether did they reimburse us for breaking it, its been over a month, they couldnt find the problem, couldnt repair the damage they did, maybe this is unusual for them, but still, I would go elsewhere
